well you see, i really want to go to middle school, like BAD! But i have maybe a 89% to go to this acting school, and i ,may even be in a show! what should i do? i will like to go to school with my friends, but this is a one in a lifetime chance!
tropiicalXsplash answered Tuesday June 29 2004, 3:08 am: You should finish MIddle and High School and then focus on becoming an actress. If you don't and you go into acting first, the chances of you not becoming an actress arne't high. It would look better on your resumes if you finished High School and maybe even college. Zayphron answered Monday June 21 2004, 4:14 pm: GO TO ACTING SCHOOL. Trust me, middle school is fun and all, but you could make a lot more money going to acting school. I myself finished middle school this year. But if you don't go into the acting school, have fun in middle school. [ Zayphron's advice column | Ask Zayphron A Question ]
Magdelen answered Monday June 21 2004, 5:29 am: Sweetie, if you have an 89% chance- there WILL be other times. If you've got it, you'll keep it. Go be a kid now, hang out with your friends, be silly and have fun. Actors always say the thing they feel they missed out on most by being and actor is have a childhood. You'll thank yourself later. cr8zymonkeyluv07 answered Sunday June 20 2004, 11:13 pm: Sometimes, you have to make sacrafices to ensure your going to be happy in the end. I say, focus on the things around you, like the money isue - is it going to be okay, the pressure - can u take it....on the other side ask - will I be able to live with myself knowing I passed this up. All in all, think about things for a few days and see if you get in. Hope I've helped. [ cr8zymonkeyluv07's advice column | Ask cr8zymonkeyluv07 A Question ]
storageanddisposal answered Sunday June 20 2004, 11:10 pm: If it was me in your shoes, I would go to middle school. Your still young, and you still have years until you have to decide what you want to do with your life. Your definately a good actress if you can get into this school, so chances are you'll have opportunities after middle school and high school. I would have fun with friends right now if I was in your shoes, and worry about the future later. [ storageanddisposal's advice column | Ask storageanddisposal A Question ]
LykViolencUhavMe answered Sunday June 20 2004, 11:07 pm: ive been in this exact situation except that it was for an acting high school. what u need to remember is that its not a once in a life time chance. not really. i mean u can take classes during summer that will give you basically the same thing an acting skool would. and as far as shows or movies go ur young being in middle skool and so ur going to have plenty of chances to be in shows and such if u just put urself out there. an acting skool is not needed. anyways i hope i helped [ LykViolencUhavMe's advice column | Ask LykViolencUhavMe A Question ]
MapleAdvice11 answered Sunday June 20 2004, 10:21 pm: Well, you should weigh which is more important to you. Going to school with your friends is a good experience, and so it going to an acting school. It all depends on where you are in your life if your life, if you really want to be in a show or movie whatever than go for it! and if it doesn't work out it that means you can try again or go to school with your friends. Either way I don't think you would lose the friends you have if you went to a different school, you would make more friends.
