ok ive never really been into the whole pop thing although i dress liek the ones who do so when people ask me what kinda music i listen to i tell them and they get these wierd looks and are like u dont see like the rocker type ill admit i am kinda of a blonde at heart but why do they asume that im stuid and a pop freak cause im a littel stupid with common sence and with the cloths i ware

yea that happens to a lot of girls i no..... if u tell someone u like rock and that stuff ( i do too but nobody thinks that cause im usually jumpin off the walls lol) and they dont think u r, if u wanna prove it tell them some songs u listen to or some lyrics from a song they no..... and u dont have to change the way u dress to be who u r... im guessin u dress like pop people because u think u look good in that or u just maybe like the clothes.... u dont have to like wat it makes people think.... if u wanna change ur look u can but if u dont want to and stil wanna listen to wat u want to... do wat u feel like (isnt that wat most rock is about?) lol hope i helped

I know what you mean. Teenagers are stupid. I include myself in that. They generally assume that since someone is a teenager, they must like pop, and rock, and all that stuff.
I mean, I sing opera, but I listen to hard rock and stuff like that. When people ask me what kinds of music I like, and I say that I like...evanescence, or something, they're all shocked.
Blame it on stupidity. That's their reason. =)

The reason a lot of people think that is because of jessica simpson and britney spears and all those other sterotypes that make people appear to like thier music if they have anything in common with them. I'm glad you admit that you are a dumb blonde because it is really kewl.
