i'm 14 and this older guy likes me he's 16 and i've known him for like forever but now he wants me to be his girlfriend and it's weird because of parents and friends so i'm not sure if i should go out with him or just still be friends

you guys seem like your prolly pretty close..if you like the guy then yeah go out with him..or if its weird for you just maybe get to know him more and see where it takes you..the age isnt a big difference though and thats fine! cause its just a number! but if you dont like him or you would prefer to be friends tell him that..or just give it a shot and if things dont seem to be working tell him that you would rather be friends! but i think if you like the guy give it a try and see what happens! <3 xOxO

You should talk to him and don't care about if it is weird because if it works out then it won't be weird anymore. He might not know how you feel so you should start things up with him if you want something to happen.

If he is 16 and interestd in a 14 year old, first find out why he is not looking in his own age brackett. While he may be genuinely interested in you, he may think it easier to impress or heaven forbid, manipulate a younger girl. I assume you and your family know his family by what you have said about it being "weird". If your families are acquainted with one another, let your parents know he has shown an interest in you and tell HIM that you have mentioned it to them. He will be more likely to behave if he knows he is being watched. Take it one step at a time and start with a solid friend connection. Good luck.

You should ask your self how you really feel. If you think you really like this guy, you know, "that" way, you should go for it. If you don't then you should probably stay friends. If your just so confused you don't really know what to say, you should stay friends because you don't know how your going to feel about being his girlfriend in a few days. Hope it helps.
