I just bought a new bathing suit. It fits me really well and I love it. The problem is that if I am cold or shivery at all, my nipples kinda show up. They show normally when I'm not cold but not as much. What can I do to stop this or make it less obvious?
bulldawg704 answered Monday May 31 2004, 11:28 pm: you can buy these things called "breast petals" (or something similar..) and stick them on if you are going to be around alot of people, that will help your problem, if your just around close freinds it shouldn't really matter thogugh. it's normal!!! good luck [ bulldawg704's advice column | Ask bulldawg704 A Question ]
blondebarbiedoll0 answered Monday May 31 2004, 7:32 pm: Even though you may love the bathing suit, I think you may need to buy a new one. If you are uncomfortable then DON'T WEAR IT! There are many bathing suits that have padding that are not only meant to make your boobs look big (like many think!) but also to prevent your nipples from showing through! hip answered Friday April 30 2004, 7:48 pm: You should never wear a bathing suit if you are uncomfortable in it. If it doesn't feel right wear an old one until something better comes along. Bandaides don't work and they look foolish especially when they get wet and fall off or shift from place. Sometimes solid colors cause this problem so you should try a pattern for a top Good luck! notnormal answered Friday April 30 2004, 7:33 pm: I have this trouble so I always wear lightly padded bras. I buy bathing suits that have light padding too. Try large bandaids over your nipples. I don't know if it will work or not, since I have never tried it myself. [ notnormal's advice column | Ask notnormal A Question ]
GC_rox_my_sox answered Friday April 30 2004, 6:57 pm: Ok, for this you need to be a little bit crafty, but it's not too hard. First, find an old bra (it should be underwire) and cut it apart in the middle, cut off the straps, and the back, so all you have are 2 separate cups. Trimt the edges so they fit inside the bathing suit. Cut any loose strings off the bra cups. If there are ragged edges, just stitch around them with a needle and thread. Then sew the cups to the inside of the bathing suit. [ GC_rox_my_sox's advice column | Ask GC_rox_my_sox A Question ]
