Find out by looking at his gestures toward you, and if he's like blushing and stuff like that. He'll probly ask you out in the furture, but I would only go oput with him if you like him yourself.

I would be wary of this. As much as you think it could, once romance has had a look in there is rarely a friendship left in tact at the end of it. Having said that, if you really do like him, it's going to make you miserable being around him if you want to be more than friends. If he's a good friend, just talk to him. The worst that can happen is that he only likes you as a great friend - and that's not so bad.

What you should do is talk to him and say "You know (insert friend's name here) said that we would make a good couple". If he seems to agree, then tell him that you like him. If he doesn't agree, then say "I know, she is so weird sometimes!"

If he likes you, you will know it. Boys are easy to read, its the girls that are hard to. This is guy is probably thinking the same way about you. So, just ask if he would like to expand your firendship. The worst he can say is no, but look on the bright side, you will still have a good firend, so either outcome is a plus.

*sigh* Okay, first of all, it's easy to tell whether a guys likes you or not. He will constantly follow you around and he will look at you. Alot. He will laugh at all of your corny jokes even if they're really, really stupid. He would sacrifice himself for you. Well, that is, extrovert guys. Shy guys will just look at you alot and act weird around you.
If one of their friends tells you he likes you he will blush the deepest red imaginable. How do you find out? Well, ask him. D'oh. How do you respond? How the heck do you think you respond??!??! If you like him, that's great! If you don't , don't go out with him just because you are desperate. I hope my advice has been of some assistance to you. *cough* Good day.
