I always tried to sit down with her and tell her what she's doing is wrong and she could die from it but she always got mad at me. Well, this isn't about me so, what u should do first is try to sit her down and talk to her and tell her the consequences. If she gets mad, i'd threaten her(i know it might seem brutal but hey, anything to get her to stop right??) Tell her that if she doesn't start eating right ur gonna tell her parents or go to a doctor. U should probably make yourself emotional in front of her so she gets the fact that ur worried about her and if shes hurting herself, shes hurting u too. Well, I hope this helped. lauve645 answered Friday March 26 2004, 12:44 pm: its a thing in their head. like they need a sycoligist and/or hospiltalization. (i dont know how to spell it) i know someone who used to be anorexic. the best thing is just try and make her know that food is a good thing. it makes you active and you can think better with food. tell her that food is not harmful... just dont eat so much you get overweight. (but she probably needs a lot of food to gain the wait shor he needs.
Siren_Cytherea answered Thursday March 25 2004, 8:59 pm: I had an anorexic friend. Try explaining to her the dangers of anorexia. Also try to find out the reasoning behind the anorexia. If it's because she thinks she's fat, just keep reassuring her that she isn't. If she doesn't understand, threaten to tell her parents. She won't want that, so she'll probably consider fixing it. If all else fails, do tell her parents. If you need or want more help, talk to me. =)

jbdreamer answered Thursday March 25 2004, 2:44 pm: First talk to her as a friend. Tell her you know what she is doing and you are worried about her, and that anorexia is a serious disease. And let her know that if she doesn't get some help herself, that you will have to tell her secret to the people that can, like her parents or a school counsler only because you care. Notify an adult...or someone who owns a buffet. Best yet, a psychologist who owns a buffet. She (she?) needs help and quick. [ koshii's advice column | Ask koshii A Question ]
