some of my good friends go to a different school. recently, one of them met a friend that goes to my school. i'm scared that they'll be best friends and lock me out. What should I do?

Sure, she'll have another friend, but that doesn't change the way she feels about you. Maybe the three of you should try to do something as a group. That way everyone makes newe friends.
If by chance she does become best friends with the other girl..wel..that's the way it goes. Growing up is a cause for change in people. Kids find what they're really passionate about, and they meet new people through after school activities and lose some old friends. This is perfectly normal. It may make you sad for awhile, but try and join a group activity to take your thoughts off of your old friend. Chances are, you'll end up making some new ones!
