home remedies for loosing weight. Posted Thursday April 3 2008, 9:35 pm
14[15 in july]/female. i was wondering if their was anyway that i could like tighten my butt up a little bit. and go down from like a 3 to a one again because i went from a 0-3 in just 1 school year, 9-10 months?. i run track and we do alot of ab work outs but i dont think that will help me out that much, any suggestions?

I am a 16 year old female, 5 9, and 220 lbs.
Ok, I am overweight and have been for a few years. I desperately want to change that, but the first thing I need to know is how to plan a good workout. I have 2 workout DVDs that I plan to use. One is a dance video, and one is Fat Blasting Yoga. I also want to be able to run the mile in less than 20 minutes, but right now it takes me five minutes just to run 1/4 of a mile, and after that, i get tired. (These are all important factors for me...please think about these when you answer this question.) So any ideas on how to use these things to plan an effective but fun workout? (FYI, I get bored with a structured routine after a few days.)

Ok so there's this thing called teh contour and like you strap it around your waiste and it uses like something that makes your muscles contract so then it's like your doing a sit up and side sit ups and sutff like that all at the same time i just wanted to know if any of you have used it if so does it work?

Over the summer I would like to spend time at a military summer camp. However all the camps I have looked at cost a lot of money and last a month. Are there any military camps that are shorter and a little cheaper.

alright so lately i havent been eating a lot at all. i dont like my weight whatsoever. so ive been trying to eat healthy.
i drink a lot of water and all that as well.
but it seems like no matter what i eat, healthy or not, small or big, my stomach like bloats and i look insantly fatter.
so ive just been pretty much cutting off eating almost completely.
i would never make myself throw up, but is there a possibility that i might become annorexic?
im really scared to eat anything.
please help

I'm 17 years old, 5'5", and weigh around 96 pounds. I'll go ahead and say I am pretty thin, but there are some areas that could use some muscle definition. Before I even ask my question, I am NOT looking to lose any weight. Weight loss is not a concern for me. I'm not involved in any sports, and I used to run in my free time, but haven't gotten around to doing so in about a year. I would really just like to tone up my whole body in general, especially for summer. I'm enrolled in a fitness gym that opens the first of June, so just some exercises or activities that I can do at home to give me a head start on toning would be extremely appreciated.

people say im skinny but when i run my butt hurts a lot! i can feel the jiggle to the point of pain.. so hence the question. also i have buffalo wings. which are fat by the armpits! ahh!

If you've lost a decent amount of weight, how did it affect your face and facial features? Did your eyes look bigger, or did your lips get thinner? I'm just curious what happens. Does the size of your neck even change? Ridiculous question, I know, but I really want to know!

i feel uncomfortable in my body sometimes(i know thats not a good thing but i don't know. its just how i feel). especially when i hang out with my friends who are skinnier then me. which is all of them... i have huge thighs. big boobs. my belly has a pouch on it. and i have love handles that can be seen through everything i wear.
i've been working out lately. i run on the treadmill. ride a stationary bike. go on an elliptical. and lift weights(i don't lift weights that much though) probably 2-3 times a week for 45 minutes to an hour and 30 minutes. the only problem is i don't eat as healthy as i should so that is probably why i am not loosing as much weight as i would like.

I didn't know if this was the right subject, but, I want to get my bellybutton pierced, but I'm kinda squishy on the tummy. Do you think it would look really bad? I'm planning on losing weight, but, I was just wondering like, for now would it look too bad? Thanks!

Okay, I'm looking at losing weight over a long period of time, so it's not just water weight, and it's a healthy weight loss.
I'm not obese. I'm chubby, and I eat healthy most of the time (I don't eat candy or chocolate, I can't have soft drink so I only drink water & flavoured mineral water and I rarely eat junk food) it's just this exercise I need to think of.
What do you think would be better not only for losing weight, but exercise altogether
Doing 15 minutes (time to increase once I start doing it more) of walking up and down a pretty steep hill, and a walk everyday
or
Doing that exercise where you lie on the ground, lift your legs up and then lower them but...

I exercise for 45-60 minutes a day on one of those bicycle things in my house...and I have a few questions. First, is this a good amount of time in order for me to loose weight? If so, how long will it take me to loose 10-15 pounds (with a good diet)? Second, is it normal for my thigh muscles to swell afterward? Third, I don't want my thighs to be huge with muscle...they alreay are muscular. Will this work out do more fat-burning or muscle-building?
