SIMS game

ok i installed the SIMS expansion pack for PC on my laptop, & i have all the system requirements. but when i put disc one in all it does is give me the option to play, visit the website etc. so i hit play, i've tried playing the sims creator, 800x600, &&&& 1024x768 & it wont get past the opening screen after that.
help!!

I have two bestfriends, Jenn and Kate. Jenn's 16th birthday was a few days ago but the three of us were too busy to do something. The three of us agreed that we would go out to eat tomorrow night. Then we are coming back to my house. Kate and I want to do something really special for her. We have the resteraunt and back at my house. What could we do for her? Balloons? Presents? Flowers? I truely don't know what to do.
If this helps she loves the color purple.

lately ive been getting really bad dantriff like its grosse!, ive always had healty hair! nooo its NOT lice, its just dantruff, i wash my hair everyother day (its bad your your hairs natural oils to be washed every day) my hair doesnt look oily or anyhting, just ALOT of dantruff and its inbarrseing
ive tryed changeing shammpoos and condinterners, ive been washing my hair with "solsin blue" wich is a shampoo used to control dantruff. i want to get rid of it!! ive tryed washing my hair every day, but nothing is working!
any sugestions thanx

Okay so everyone uses that "T9" texting thing, and they are always like WHY DONT YOU USE THAT ITS EASIER, and i just dont understand how to use it. can you explain to me how to use it, because i would really like to learnn...? it takes forever for me to type the regular way, even though im fast at it. typing each letter just takes too long..thanks.
okay i just tried it, and like words i dont even want come up. URGH. =/

wasn't sure what to put this under, but oh well
my class has to do a project about black history month with a poster board, and my teacher wants us to make it really nice, she's going to try to get the newspaper involved well there is a prize who ever has the best poster (creative and organized) wise... i really want to do good, so i was wondering if anyone knew a way to get my poster to stand out next to other peoples

i feel like im stupid. yet i won the most awards at graduation than anyone else, and im a straight A student.
my parents make me feel like im worthless, when i get a 95, they don't say good job, they say "why". they only approve of 100s.
when they ask me to do soemthing, i just cant understand them, like if they say "get the paper in the desk" i look everywhere and i cant see it, and then they point out that it was in the shelf UNDER something (yeah, like i can see that) and they say look more carefully or something.
my dad is always saying i'm disorganized, when i have a folder which files all the papers from my different classes in different categories and my clothes are in ...

Masquerade Party Activities

I'm having my Sweet Sixteen this weekend, and I'm having a Masquerade Ball. I love the idea and I think it'll be fun, but all we'll be doing for two hours is dancing. Does anyone have any ideas for games and activities that aren't childish? No spin-the-bottle or seven minutes in heaven, because it's going to be supervised. And no games that involve going outside. Thanks!
