risk of birth defects?

I am 16/f considering going on the Pill. I read today that it can cause birth defects and I don't want to put my children at risk in the future. I googled a few sites and from what I can gather it is a myth. One site said your only at risk of birth defects if you were on the Pill at the time of getting pregnant. I take it this means if you left it a while before trying to concieve you would be ok. I just don't know about condoms; are they really that reliable? I know they have a 85-98% success rate but they just look so thin and like you'd tear them so easy! thanks!

Hi,
I'm thinking about going on the Pill. What is actually involved? When you go to the doctor what do they do? Do you have to get tested and stuff? I've heard something about you have to get your blood pressure taken - what's that? Do you have to get an injection? Sorry I'm asking so much but I'm a bit worried coz I obviously haven't done this before. I'd appreciate advice from someone who's actually gone or is on the Pill and had experience. last night when me and my boyfriend got home we got @ my house @ like 9:30, but he didnt have to be home till around 10:30 so we just stayed outside on my porch and he gave me my birthday present, then we started kissing, touching, making out, ect. but then 10:30 rolled around he left, i went inside and went to the bathroom and (this is weird) my vagina was like swelled up like twice the normal size,w/e i dont know why. it's not like we have never done any of that before ya know. i just need to know what happened, since this never happened before. but maybe it's becausewe were standing and making out? like for so long?

I dont think im pregnant,but im paranoid about it.
I had sex with a condom but then got close to doing it again without a condom , but we only did it for like 3 seconds and then I said stop because i was scared.
My boobs have been hurting lately and I had a stomach ache but I didnt throw up.
He tells me he thinks im fine and i hope hes right.
What should I do??

I had sex for the first time on Saturday with my boyfriend. Sunday and Monday we kept having sex but it got really .. intimately to the point of ouch. That night I bled as if I was getting my period, which I can understand.. next day it was like I have my period and i've had it since, but now it hurts when I pee, and i'm peeing alot. I'm also a diabetic .. I don't know if it could be my sugars or if its a STD, or related to sex ? My pelvis area hurts cramp wise and when I pee it feels like it has to pee more, but it hurts too much. Is there anything wrong with me or is this normal?
