how effective are they?
is there a good chance that they can be wrong?
how long after becoming pregnant can pregnancy be detected? and the later you take it, is there a better possability that it will show?

my friend is 2 months late on her period and has taken 2 pregnancy tests from the store and both came out negative but she is worried she hasnt started yet. her breasts are sore and she says she notices her stomich looking a little bit bigger. i am the only person that knows and i have to find a way to help her!!!

sex stresses me out

Me and my girlfriend have been sleeping together for a while, except recently I've been worrying myself to pieces. Even when we use a condom and it hasnt split or slipped for weeks later I'll be stressing out because I get paranoid she could become pregnant.
Recently Ive been avoiding sex and she's starting to notice I don't know how it'll affect our relationship. I don't want to be this paranoid about sex for the rest of my life either I just can't stop worrying! I don't know what to do?

i have been on the pill for almost 2 years now and i always get my period on the 3rd to last pill in the pack but this time i got it on the 5th to last pill in the pack and that has never happened befor so i dont understand why it is happening now? can you tell me why? and is it bad?

I think my best friend *and only friend* doesnt like me anymore..She posted an away message while I was talking to her that said "Fuck you I dont need anymore friends" and then she called my cellphone while her friends were over and they were laughing and saying really bad things to me like pussy in the background. Im so upset, Im shaking. This has never happened between me and her and weve been best friends for 6 years. I wanna die..please help

okay so... first of all, me && my bf are only 13 years old okay and we'd been together for about 1 month and 6days. its winter break for both of us and we'd been txt messaging eachother talking about being horny and like what would we do to eachother when we have sex when we get older. so were not planning on having sex until we get older and ready. here are my questions...

New Years sleepover

Two quick questions here. My boyfriend and i (of 1 year 1 month today) are spending new years together. Ill be spending the night at his house. we have done everything BUT sex so far...but i think were ready to move a step forward (im not positive yet...im sleeping on it for a few nights). Anyways....on to the questions
1.) Sooo my bf got a condom from a reliable friend id say....5 months ago...and its an individual one..and it doesnt have a expiration date on it. i was wondering if like condoms go bad after that amount of time or if its more along the lines of a year or something. I know people are supposed to pay close attention to the exp. date...and it sucks that it doesnt have it on it.
2) Is it more likely to not get pre...

k,my bf & I have sex. We always use condoms (the spermicide kind)..he never gets off in me...and afer sex,he always checks to see if the condom has broke. The thing is... I skipped my period this mth-& it is the 1st time that has happend.
I do not feel any different or anything--Just super nervous!
Two Questions:
1.)Should I be worried that I'm pregnant?!
2.)Can you have a late period from having alot of sex?

embarassed about sex

This is going to sound completely crazy maybe, and I'm only 15/Female, and I dont plan on having sex until I'm married. But it hurts for me to wear tampons even, and even if I get the petite size, it doesnt go in all the way and like an inch of it sticks out. Its embarssing because does that mean sex will hurt really bad? I know its supposed to hurt either way. But i think my youknow.. is just .. small? i dont know it this makes anysense at all.

birth control

So i want to be on some sort of birth control because i don't like condoms much but i smoke and don't really feel like quitting that anytime soon. So that kind of stops me from taking the pill/patch right? but what other birh control things can i use? i know of the shot and the ring and the diaphram (sp) but the other thing is im pretty forgetful, and when me and my boyfriend are together things just tend to lead to another pretty quickly. anybody have any other ideas?

To make this as short as possible...
My best friend has been depressed for almost 2 years now, mostly minor depression. Lately she's been getting more and more depressed. She has been talking to me about it and she has mentioned, more than once mind you, about commiting suicide. I love her and I tell her all the time...I don't want her to kill herself, soo many people would be sad. She seems to think that everybody hates her and all that...she used to cut ALOT but I managed to get her to stop but that took so much effort that I started getting depressed. I'm fine now but she isn't. She needs help but she refuses to get any. How do I attempt to fix this? I love her so much, like how is it that a 16 year old girl wants to commit...
