4 years.. no tampon

i'm in ninth grade and i started my period in 6th grade. i still haven't used a tampon yet. i know people that just started their period, like, a week ago and they are already using a tampon. i guess i'm kind of scared to put it in.. i tried a couple times, but didn't go through with it. should i just suck it up and do it? does it hurt? is there any chance that i, like, won't be able to put it up there? i'm just scaredddd. any advice?

Ok, so I am 13, and I still havent started my period yet. I know its coming up soon, but I dont know what to do about tampons. I am on the swim team, so I know that I will have to use them. All my friends have started and I know that they have figured out the "tampon deal" But, I just dont know how to insert or what. A bajillion people out there have already used these, and I need advice QUICK before time runs out. I dont want to talk to my mom because that is just a little awkward for me. Anyone got any advice???

I have had discharge for over a year now and still havent started my period. Sometimes its thick and whitish but other times its kinda like pee. It always feels like i am wet and stuff. If i wear a pantiliner then i will use all of them up and my mom bought them for me just in case. I dont want to use all of them up because i have never had to use a pantiliner except for twice and i dont want to ask my mom for more because then she will think i started and i dont want to tell her that it was discahrge. It's embarrising. Also, here's another question, why is it thick some days and like pee another day? thanks in advance!

i had my first strange period at 23 years old

on oct 28th my period came normally, heavy with lots of cramps, lol, and i had no pregnancy symptoms. on nov 16th i bled abnormally and extremely light for 2 days and spotted for the next 2 days...this has never happened to me before. (i had an abortion at 17, if that helps any). im only sexually active with one man for the past year and a half, and ive only been using condoms for protection everytime. nov 28th past and yet no period has come. i started to experience pregnancy symptoms on the 24th of nov, but no period came...i had a urine and blood test at the hospital on dec 6. urine was negative and no word on the blood, hopefully good news today.can i have your opinion, cause doctors only seem to help if your testing positive right then and there, thank you

Fat

Okay, Im sick of being fat.
I know how to diet and exercise and etc but I just cant stick to it for a long period of time but im trying.
Alot of people tell me Im pretty , but i just think Id be so much better looking If i was skinny.
I need something to boost my confidence or make me stick to the diet more continuesly.

Health of my dog

So my dog is small and fat. He was the runt in his family.
I don't want to lose him so soon. I realize he's not a baby anymore, but I don't want him to die because of his weight.
So is there anything I can do for him?
He will no longer eat people food.
I really can't go walk him in my area though.
I don't have much time to and my neighborhood is not a good place to do so (druggies, sex assaulters)
Well, I'm just afraid, you know?
So in my free time (which is about 2 hours) Should I play with him (with balls/toys)? Would that even help? Run around the yard with him or something?
Is there anything good for him to eat?

Hi, I know this may sound really stupid...
but I have always wanted to become a runway model, but there is a HUGE problem...im way too short. All the top agencies have tall requirements that I do not fit.
Is there anyway I can get taller? Anything?

OK I have a few little things here and there id like to fix. Are there any home remedies, products, or technequies I could use for this.
1.) Oily Hair- ok I have dark sholder length hair and its really oily. I wash it so I know its not dirty. Also im wonderring if hair balm makes it really oily cause I use it in the morning. How can I get it more normal and less oily?
2.) Oily Skin - My skin is also pretty oily. Like it kinda looks shiny in a way and when I take pictures my skin kinda shins at my chin and cheeks and its really annnoying. How can I make my skin less oily?
3.) Exema- i have Exema (not sure how to spell) but its on my head. Its annoying cause when I scratch it it gets into flakes an...

My face is really oily and makes it really shiny, ive tried special face washes, the dermatologist and makeups. Does any one know any tricks to help with oily skin like reduce it or get rid of it?

For the last week or two I've been going to bed at 10 or 11 PM, as I always do. But for some reason I can't fall asleep until 3 or 4 or 5 AM. I've stayed home from school 3 or 4 days now because I can't stop falling asleep during the day. It's DRIVING ME CRAZY!!! I haven't been eating or drinking anything with caffeiene in it, I go to bed at like the exact same time every night and set my alarm for the exact same time every day, I set aside at least 8 hours to sleep, I'm eating really healthy and getting enough excercise...what's wrong with me???

Has anyone ever used Proactive and seen a dramatic difference? I've been using it for about a month now, but I'm not noticing a real big difference. Do you have any advice, if it's working for you what I may be doing wrong?

Greasy Hair

Firstly sorry about the subject i didnt know where to put it.
My hair gets greasy so so so fast! I wash it in the morning and by the evening its greasy
I have to wash it everyday and its really annoying me.
What can i do so that i only have to wash it every 2 days or something?
any products i can use?

Late Period, Pregnant?

K well my period is about a week late..
I had sex at the beginning of September and i
had a pregnancy scare, i was feeling sick every morning for 3 days straight and i got myself worried that i was pregnant.
Then later that month my period came, in October my period came but in November it didnt come and its now December.
I have not been under any stress, had a change in diet or more or less excercise than usual and my periods are always regular and on time.
So my question is what are the chances of being pregnant and getting 2 periods as normal, no difference in flow or anything, and then begin missing them? (it is possible).
Im beginning to worry here and thats ...

Losing Weight

I've been gaining alot of weight recently. I'm 5'10". I went to the doctor last spring and I was 145, then i went over the summer and I was 155, and earlier this week I went and now I'm 162. I haven't changed my eat habits and I've only been exercising more. I know that some of the weight gain is from my muscles, but all of my pants are too tight aorund the waist now. What can I do to lose some weight? I can't exercise anymore (I already swim for 2&1/2 hours a day). What are some good foods for me to eat?

Eye Contacts

I am a 15 years old girl and I wear glasses. I really want to wear contacts. My parents told me that I couldn't have them. But they tend to be persuaded when great effort is put forth. Its just I don't know what to tell them other than I don't like wearing glasses because the way they feel and look.[that isnt good enough for them;i already tried]
Here are some things about me that may help

Period comes at different times.

I got my first period like 3 days after my 10th birthday, and even then my period was wacko. then it lasted like 1-2 weeks, till i got medication and it lowered it down to about 4-6 days. but the thing is that i can never be prepared! i got the period on the 21st, and then some months i'd have it, then some months i didnt, then it got back okay, and now its okay too, but sometimes i get killa cramps (take medication) and it never comes on the 21st like it first did! whenever that day comes up im like 'get ready..' and then like it comes randomly on other days, like now i just got it like yesterday, the third of december, like 2 weeks after the 21st. sometimes its in the middle, or end, or beginning.. its whacky. is this normal? or should i see a doctor.. AGAIN. and im 13 years old.
