Hey-i was reading through your column and i really liked the advice you were giving so i was wondering if you could help me out with a situation i have:
alrite so beginning of this year (i was still a junior in high school) i met a guy (a senior in high school who's now a freshman in college) through my best friend's boyfriend and one nite after all 4 of us hanging out i ended up hooking up with him. When it started out, neither of us was looking for a relationship, i was just looking to gain experience so i figured it was a great idea. Long story short-i went pretty far with him and got attached-towards the end of the school year we found out we both really liked each other, we went to prom together and were hooking up monogamously ...

hey lauren there are 2 guys i like but neither of them like me i went out w/ 1 but he broke up w/ me cuz of his friends and the other he doesnt like me but ive liked him 4ever i even had sum1 ask him and he said he doesnt like me his gf just broke up w/ him and he did sumthin so she hates him now i mite hav a chance he may like me now i dont wanna 4get them but i need help i just cant decide to put myself out there be quiet or stay as i am and be lonely or wut

ok...theres this guy...i think he knows that i like him but im not sure.im pretty sure he knos though...and im tooo scared to tell him....i dont wanna loose our relationship if i do tell him...i dont kno.?
hes a yr older than me...but we talk alot and laugh all the time. i c him more than twice a day.

well their is dis boi that i like and we used to go out n he dumped me n he said he "just wanted to be friends" so i call him sumtimes (not alot) and i tlk to him ....but when its jus him and I talkin hes rely nice to me but w.e he around his friends he treats me lik sh!t...n he dumped me cuz his freinds told him 2 and i cry myself to sleep every nite cuz of him and i rely try to b his freind but w/e hes with his freinds he pretends im not even there.....what should i do~*!*~?????~*!*~

hi..okay i had asked this guy i liked out to do something with me..before this we hadnt' rally talked too much but he sorta followed me a little at lunch and i cud tell and it was pretty cute..ppl told me that he prolly likes m n stuff so wen i asked him he sed he didnt know if he cud make it to where we were going..then on monday (i has asked on friday)he completely ignored me and on tuestday too..What do u think this means? I was getting a good vibe from him before and now he just randomly started to ignore me..cud he b nervous, or maybe he just stopped liking me..thanks a bunch you guys.

Alright I'm a 17 year old male. I met this girl through a friend of a friend basically. At first it was rather awkward cause I'm a really shy person but she isnt. Then we got to know eachother rather well and became good friends. But I love this girl, shes so great. I've told her this and at first she started ignoring me. Then she was okay with it. She never said she loved me back. She just said it was okay If I loved her. So I started being more nice to her. ok, so i dont think im ugly, but i know im definitely not gorgeous, and when i get compliments on my body or anything else from guys, i don't know how to respond. I've had self-esteem issues and when i hear these compliments, im glad someone thinks of me that way, but i dont wanna sound like "OMG! Im hot shit.." How do i respond to these compliments without sounding like im hot shit or end up rejecting them?

ok im a 15 year old dude and my gf goes to a dif skool and it really sux i know most of u think thats gay but itz all good.. but i don't get to see her a whole lot i don't get my car for three months. do u know how i can strengthen my relationship for these next three months b4 i can see her a whole lot more?

ok i kno this is a big generalization... so no one get mad @ me or get all pissy for this ? but y do guys always seem to want what they cant have? it seems like the last 2 or 3 times ive gone out w/some1, there is some1 else flirting w/ me... but when im not going out w/ some1... there isnt!! it sux really bad! lol. will some1 just tell me y... and how can i get guys attention when im NOT going out w/ some1 lol! thanks much!

There is this guy that I'm really interested in and I think he's into me too. we have only one class together at school and we never hang out when we aren't at school and he doesnt have my s/n email or number...should I give it to him? or should i wait til he asks for it (he is kinda shy)

i guess me and my ex boyfriend broke up i still really like him alot i might even go as far as saying i love him i was trying to stay away from him when he was at my friends house because he had tryed to hook up with my best friend the weekend before we talked he said he was trying to kiss her because it would piss me off and he wanted to make me mad because i was talking to his cousin i told him that i still like him and he said the reason he broke up with me was because things that were going on in his life at the time he said you know i love you and i told him not to say that because i feel strongly about that word and i believe that it is miss used alot i told him not to say it unless he ment and and he dosen't mean it so he dosen't nee...

Okay, so there's this guy in my school that most of the girls would give their leg to date (not literally of course) He's one of the best skateboarders around, and was even chosen to go to this contest thing across the US... Anyways, he's so cute and he doesn't even know it. From what I've heard he doesn't like having a gf because it gets in the way of skateboarding. Ok its CREEPY thers this guy that i hung out with ONCE at a party who goes to a totally different school then me. he ends up calling me (even though i never gave him my number??) and we talk alittle but i really dont like him. then he calls me right before i left yesterday (ON MY HOUSE PHONE?!?) and i told him i couldnt talk and he said "why not" and i said "im about to go to the movies with my friends" and then i went there and guess who was there! yupp that guy!! and he decided to see the same movie at the same time! weird huh! how do i get rid of him??

I broke up with my ex boyfriend because i had been hearing stuff like that he was all over other girls. But then when i broke up with him he cried infront of all of his friends and everything. I still love him a lot and want to be with him but we've gone out 5 times and i just dont know if this time he means it. He's also my best friend and he told me that he loved me and would do anything to get me back! So what should i do.. go back out with him, stay broken up or just take a break?

ok well, c theres this guy i really really like he is in the 9th and im in 7th, and he is a former boyfriend of one of mah friends. he also kissed one of mah best friends. i like him a lot i mean alot. and 1 day i called him and he really mad when he found out who it was. and through all of this its not like i went out with him or anything so the whole kissing the best friend thing doesnt matter. but anyway.... i dont kno what to do should i leave him alone, go for him, wait, what should i do. becuz mah friend who was on the fone with me when i called and messed up the whole situation. but he is really mad and im not sure whether to tell him mah bad or play hard to get and tell him i only did that to kill time? or what? what do u think?

My guy friend..lets call him K..likes me and I like him back..atleast I think so. We got kind of deep and talked about our feelings and stuff..and he told me all the reasons he liked me..I really liked him at that point..he's so sweet. One weired problem..when I'm not talking to him...or just talking to him online..I feel like I can't decide if I really like him or not..but when I talk to him in person it's totally different. I dont know I can't stop thinking about it and it's tearing me apart. If anyone could help..that would be GREAT! THANKS!

In order to understand this question you need to know a little background:
This guy lived two rooms down from me on a co-ed, all-feshman dorm floor and I never really talked to him before. But at my school (college) there was a big drinking fest and everyone is out drinking and socializing with people. I was standing in a large group of people outside, talking and drinking, with all the same age, and he comes to me and asks me if I could get him in to the dorm because he 'lost' or forgot his key.
