Prom Dress?
I know this is kind of early to be asking, but for prom should you wear short dress or a long dress? I want to wear a short dress, but i dont know if that would be weird

hey! okay i love talking about dresses, especially prom ones! i highly suggest that you go shopping with ur most honest and best friend, and try on both styles. It will help, and they can tell you which looks best. Also, pick up the latest issue of seventeen, with amanda bynes on the cover. I suggest long if you wanna go all out. Good luck!

how short? prom is generarly regarded as a formal event so you shouldnt wear anything above your knees.

I know from experience, i dont think that you should wear a short dress, becuase this is your last prom and you want to look nice, and everyone will be wearing long dresses and you dont want to be the only one!

most people wear long dresses especially in the north but as long as the dress isnt above the knee i dont think it should be too bad. i would ask around your school and see what other people are doing

most girls wear long dresses but,a short dress is adorable...i think a dress that is short a lit bit then goes down to your knees is cute...with a design and it looks right in any color...hoped i helped...♥ alley

most girls usually wear longer dresses. theres no rule against wearing short dresses though, and i have seen girls do it! if you want to stand out, i would go ahead and do it, because its something different and cute. (just make sure its not too short though, it might look a little slutty for prom.)

In order to look fabulous, you need to feel comfortable. Many people attending proms will wear floor length dresses, but there's no law against wearing something shorter - especially if it looks good on you.
Prom is more fancy than other dances, but 'fancy' and 'fabulous' come in all sizes. If you feel gorgeous when you wear a dress, you probably look even better than you feel.

Generally, most people wear floor-length or longer type dresses. I think that a shorter dress would stand out a little bit more and it's up to you wether you'd appreciate that or not.
