if me in this boy was goin together for 1 year and some month and he started talkin to this girl so i broke up wit him and he got mad but we still talk i still love him i still spend a night at his house do u think we should go together again or just be friends? i think about him alot n i can't talk to no other boy cause i think we will get back together someday but i do talk to other people. What do i do? please tell me (link)

i think that you should try and get back with him, but make sure you tell him how you feel and lay down the law with him. however don't get to hard-core because that is a turn off as well, but if you really want to get back with him you need to try, everyone deserves a second chance... until they mess it up. but keep strong and don't fall for everything he says

15/f Well i have this friend. Ive known him for like 1 year and 1/2.he has a gf hes been w/ for about 2 months. He really likes her.But he told me she only wants to hug him.No kissing or anything. But recently he told me taht we need each other. he also told me that im beautiful. hes confusing me..does he like me or his girl?is there any chance for us in the future?? (link)
|
i think that you need to stay away from him. hes not worth the drama, believe me. all that he is probally wanting from you is to get you in the sack. watch you back, if he's willing to cheat on his girl, he's willing to cheat on you. he may seem sincire, but don't believe everything that he tells you.

okay so my hair is curly wavey and so after i take a shower it gets all nice and straight nd i like it! but after that it gets all PUFFY i hate it!! its so bad when its puffy plz tell me what to do ASAP = as soon as possible! thanks! byee (link)

i would recommend that you find some sort of defrizzing/straightning hair styling products. something that would tame the friz and would make it less puffy and to get it really straight i would recommend a hair straightner, thats what i use and it's amazing, expecially one of those wet to dry ones.

Hi. Lately I've been feeling like I've been growing apart from my friends and idk why... it seems like I'm always the one making plans with any of my friends and it really sucks. Most of them have boyfriends now that they hang out with 24/7 and I don't, so I'm hanging out with them less, or so it seems.
I've just been really bored and lonely lately and I know that's stupid because I do have alot of friends...but for the past 2 weeks I've just been home bored most of the time and I don't have any plans unless I call someone; no one is even making plans with me.
I hate this lonely feeling, it's pretty depressing. Why do I always have to make plans with my friends instead of them making plans with me? Now I have a week off from school and I don't want to just be bored the whole week or have to make all the plans? :-( :-( (link)

hey i know that you probally don't want to hear "talk to them about how you feel" because i know when i felt that way thats what everyone told me, but all you can do is to keep asking them and when the time is right ask them if anything is bothering them, and see if you can get them to talk about it. if you talk to them and things don't change, maybe you should reconsider and reevaluate those friendships. and as for this week you have off, call a friend that you haven't hung out for awhile that might be fun.
hope this helps

Well next year I'm going to go to high school so I'm finally the right age (14 hopefully) to get a job. What kind of jobs do you think will be good as a first job? No fast foods. Something good for the community or somethign with a really good pay?
When should I apply? In the start of thsi summer? Beginning of the year when school starts? (link)
|
i think that you should find something in retail. see if there are any large companies around your area and see if they have a small retail store around or something. or maybe a department store. i would say that maybe you should apply around now because that way you can get some experince in and then you can rack up the big hours and the big bucks this summer.

Well ive been dating this great guy for about 4 months now and since i started dating him i kind of didnt hang out with my friends anymore...
I need to have my friends back how do i get them back. I need to hangout with them too because what happens if my relationship fails in the long run and i have no friends!?!
please help
thanks (link)

i think that you need to spend some time alone with your friends, make sure that you make them feel like you still care about them. and if they are true friends they will forgive you, and as for the boy, don't hang out with your friends when your with him. Maybe try a few things together, but if he just doesn't want to, don't force him, that will just drive him away, but if you never talk or hang with your friends then u'll lose them. and to get them back just appologize and tell them how you feel and if they are real friends like i said before they'll understand, but don't try it again cause next time it won't be as productive.
hope this helps

My hair is sooooooo poofy!! I absoulutly HATE it. I take a shower every morning and it's great when I first get out, soft, shiney, wavy, and relitivly flat. 30 minutes later it's still soft, still shiney, still wavy, but (and I know this 4 a fact) it's 2 inches thicker. How can I stop this? I'll try anything, please!! Any good help will get a five, and I'll answer 1 of your questions!! (link)

hey, i had this problem once and all i was able to do was to get friz control and i got my hair layered. That helped TREMDOUSLY, also i noticed that when i stopped straightning it with a hair straightner it stopped getting thinker when i washed it later. I hope this helped.

I want to make friends but it seems like just talking to someone is not the way. I am lonely and I don't want to not have any friends. I think it's because of how I look. (link)
|
the first thing that you have to do is to overcome how you think you look. Try something new that will get you more comfortable for being yourself. I've learned that you can't just sit around looking hopeless for people to come up to you and say hey want to hang out? you need to look confident, but be yourself also. It'll be hard but the worst thing for you to do is to have everyone else think that you're something that you're really not. But don't throw yourself at them, make them notice you, but not in a bad or dangerous way. Just be confident and try to be pleasant and happy. Good luck with everything, hope this helped.

Ok here is an example of a problem:
Polly Gawn is building a triangular pool. She wants the pool to be acute, with no obtuse angles. One side of the pool is 20 feet long and the other side is 48 feet long. how long does the third side have to be to make sure that pool has all acute angles?
Helppp! Please! (link)
|
i'm NOT 100% positive, but i think that the third side would have to be 52 feet.

coming from a girl who had something similar to that, all you can do is when you start to feel overwelmed or stressed you need to go in and talk to your teachers they can provide helpful hints or just help tutor you. They won't know how you feel until you talk to them. If the teachers start to see that you are stuggling maybe they will start to review things more, (plus in h.s it's not all that bad) also if you have a book you can talk your book home and try teaching yourself. That is how i did a lot of my learning, it's hard i know, but you can get through it, you just have to try and not give up... and yes ask for help, it doesn't mean anythings wrong with you or your stupid, it just means that you have a different way of learning than everyone else.

I went on a trip to Boise with my pep band this weekend. On Friday the we all went to the mall and I hung out in a group with Kord and Becka. In the first store Kord and I started looking at watches and such, so Becka said she'd meet us in the Gap when we were done. Becka wasn't at the Gap, so Kord and I wandered around looking ofr her for about an hour and a half. We were talking the whole time and going into other stores and things, but we were looking ofr Becka. We got hungry, so we went to eat at the food court together, and when we were done we found Becka. We walked with her for a few minutes, but she got sidetracked and we said we'd meet her at Build-a-bear. He built a bear and I built a bear, and we registered them together then sat on the bus back to the hotel together. We ate dinner with each other and after we went to a movie and he paid for my ticket. We've been on a date before, and it didn't go well, so I'm loathe to try dating him again, but I had a lot of fun and I have to admit it felt very date-like. So, was it a date? 16/f (link)
|
i think that this was a date. even if it was unintentual, however he didn't object and neither did you. So even if it wasn't a fancy "we both agreed that this is a date" kind of date, it was the start of something that i think you should continue with. If you can have fun and be yourself around him, he's definitly worth trying for. But don't tie yourself to the idea that he's all yours, give it time and don't give up.
love always,

i like a guy, and i know he likes me back.
he said he wants to hang out..but since we both like each other, how is that any different from a date? is it a date? (link)
|
i think you two should start off doing something casual, like a casual dinner and movie, to make the atmosphere a tad lighter. you don't want to just jump into a pool of water without looking first. see how things go and if it works out then you've got yourself a hottie.

Ok, i have this friend thats a girl, lets call her jan. and my friend that is her boyfriend's name can be bob.
Okay, Jan and bob have been together around 3 months, and suposibly they are in "love." Well theres just one thing. Bob is verbally abusing jan. Every time jan tries to talk to her friends or hang with them bob gets mad. every time jan talks to other guys, bob gets mad. Bob is trying to get all of jans friends turned against her so that he can have her all to himself.
example:
one night bob and jan were at a school dance. jan started talking to her friends, and not just to bob. Bob gets really mad, goes and gets his stuff and says im leaving. Jan tries to stop him, and says well im not going with you, im not letting you ruin my night. but finally bob stays. well for part of the rest of the night jan was all over bob, he was just fine. then jan started talking to her friends again, bob gets mad. and this is what always happens.
ok so clearly, bob is verbally, and emotionally abusing jan. Jan doesnt realize this because she loves bob of course. Ok, i am jans best friend and i dont want her relationship to go on and on like this. i want to get her to realize it. Bob is going to get all of her friends turned on her and leave her with nothing. If i talk to Jan, she is going to get mad and blow me off, just the way bob wants it to be. if it goes on the relationship could turn physical. and i dont want this to happen.
since im her best friend i feel like i should do something about it. I know its not really any of my business but i cant stand whats happening to her.
HELP! what should i do?
(sorry so long) (link)

i know exactly how you feel, i actually have a friend who is in almost the same predictament i think that you need to make her realize just how bad things are for herself, but that doesn't mean to just sit back and watch her ruin her life. you need to talk to her, pull her aside, if that means showing up at her house at 11:00 pm then fine, but you need to find a time when she is not being watched by him and that he won't be able to interfer. Continually talking to her will help evetually, but over worring will only push her away, you need to find an equal balance of support but she needs to see it for herself.
