want to lose 20 pounds but every time I try I cheat on my diet. This summer I kept cheating and telling myself that Id just start my diet over the next day, but when the next day came I always ruined my diet. People around me are always eating junk and when I see it I have to have it and I over eat. How can I stop craving junk food?

So recently I started talking to a man a few years older then me. Well, my question is do men care about stubble in the pubic region? On the mound mostly. I am very prone to ingrown hairs and such so i cant get it completely smooth. Yes I get that if hes a good guy he wont say anything. I just want to know from men's point of view.

I have been out of work almost 6 months, I am 20/F and only ever worked in retail. I left my job without notice because I was being harrassed and bullied at work by a manager and I am not the sort to seek action about it. What was done was done and I just want a new job, that is full time on a till and dealing with the public.
I am on Job seekers and applied for 24 jobs so far, which is basically the whole town where I live and I am running out of options. I am stuck at my nan's and can't do half the things I would like to.
The only other talent I have is writing and occasionally answering posts on here if I think I can help. However I have problems finishing stories.

I think it's stupid to break up with him for what sounds like no reason. He's your first boyfriend. And unless you have a better reason than this then the fault is on your side.

Alright, I am female and 17 and he is 18 male. We are going on 10 years of friendship. Through those years, we've developed and became so much more closer. We feel so comfortable around each other. I love the whole aspect of him always being there for me, promising he will never leave me especially when I need him, listening to my problems no matter what time of the night or morning, he's just an all around amazing guy. I never saw us as anything more than friends, for ten years he has always just been my best friend but EVERYONE thinks we like each other. Everyone says he's just so different around me but I am different around him as well, I look at it as us being comfortable around each other to be our true selves, not different because we like each other. Of course, we argue and we bash heads a lot but we never go more than three days being angry at each other. We've hung out together outside of school watching movies or getting ice cream together, everyone thinks that's a sign because when he hangs out with "just his friends" they just go to his house and play games, with me, we go out and spend money and have a good time. We had this big project we had to do for school, I was nervous and he could tell so he told me to calm down, he knows that I will blow them away. He also asks me to remind him of things because he forgets everything if he doesn't write it down or put it in his phone, so he always asks me for help with things. All of the people that are on our case call this one 'the big kahoona' it's the biggest sign to them that he likes me, he plays his guitar for me and sings to me, I look at it as a friend thing because I've never heard him play before and for the longest time, he has avoided playing for me and he finally gave in and played for me. We also took a picture together, he never lets people take his picture but he took his picture with me and I set it as my phone background and everyone sees it and squeals with happiness because they think of that as a sign that we are finally together, which it isn't. I also tend to stress over a bunch of small things that pile up and when we'd text, apparently I wouldn't be acting myself and he would completely stop our conversation to tell me I am not being myself and if there is something wrong, he would love it if I would talk to him about it. I remember one time, I was going through something and it was about 2.30 in the morning and I texted him to remind him something, he knew I wasn't okay so he asked me what was wrong and I told him it wasn't a big deal to keep him awake longer and he said "no, tell me if you want to, I promise I will listen" he's just always there for me and I love that about him.
I know it's a lot to process and read and it's kind of all over the place which I apologize for, I just typed my thoughts as they came to me. Do you think he likes me or are we just best friends? If we did like each other, I can guarantee nothing would be done about it because we value our friendship so much but I am curious as to what an outsider that doesn't know the two of us thinks. Ok so I'm a Christian and my boyfriend isn't. I'm fine with it and stuff but I'm afraid that somehow we'll argue about it and it'll get to me.
I'm not like gonna try and change him or anything, I just want advice from people who is with someone that isn't of the same religion and how you get through it and how you deal with it.

Find a different boyfriend. Religion is a major part of a relationship including the extended relationship with both families. Why start something that's strained by design from the beginning?

I'm 19/f, my boyfriend of 1 year is 18/m.
My boyfriend likes meeting new people, and I respect that. Just yesterday, he met a girl..(when he went to take placement tests so that he can apply to college next semester.) Apparently, this girl that he met was on campus for placement tests too.
So, when I finally saw him later that night, he told me that he hung out with "his new friend Michaela" for the entire day, and that he picked her up from her friend's house so that they could go to the mall, and he bought her ice cream, and they hung out with another couple, his best friend tyler and tyler's girlfriend.
I asked him a lot of questions about "his new friend" because I'm terrified that something's going on between them, or that something could go on in the near future. I trust that he won't physically cheat on me, but I also don't know why this new attention from other girls is so important to him that he had to spend the entire day with a girl he just met. I'm jealous that he spent so much time with her, because I don't even think he made it very clear that he's got a girlfriend to this new girl. I know that if I was in her shoes, I'd be wondering if this new guy I just met was interested in me or not.
So what should I do about this situation? I don't want to be a cranky girlfriend of his that tries to be annoyingly/unnecessarily possessive and doesn't let him have friends that are girls. But I'm so hurt that he wants to hang out with other girls at the same time. (link)

At school, there's this classmate on mine who teases me and bully me a lot. Often, he would throw the basketball at me and act as it were nothing. Sometimes, he would also tease me when i look at him when he said something weird or done something stupid. What's confusing me is that no matter how hard i ignore or tell the teacher about his bullying, he just keep on doing. Occasionally he would spurt out something stupid like '*Joanna wants to be in the dance' or something when i clearly dread those things.And then, what really trouble me is that he seems to know when i glance at him and will took that opportunity to tease me to the rest of the day.
I don't really get it, I'm the type that is fat and ugly and don't pay much attention to guys ( I avoid them ). One of his friend told me that i was fun to teased. My friend told me to ignore him and sooner or later he'll get bored, but its been almost 10 months now and it's not helping. I tried to confront the person several times before, but he just wont listen.
I wonder if should just go and filed it to the teacher as a minor bully case......

I was dating this guy on and off for awhile, and we're officially done for good after this incident.
What happened is that he told me he was short money for rent last month and his dad would kick him out if he didn't come up with it, so I felt bad and I lent him $300 on the terms that he would pay me back by October 31st, because his work hours were supposed to pick up in the next weeks and he'd be able to come up with the money. I even had him sign a contract with these terms and we both signed it and so did a friend of mine as a witness.
Basically what happened is that I found out he lied about the rent, he was never short money and he was never going to get kicked out. He just wanted to buy a new stereo for his car. I called him out on this and he said, "I'm done with you" and I haven't heard from him since, but he still owes me the money.
Can I take him to local court for this if he does not get in contact with me and return the money? I have the contract that we signed. Will I have to get a lawyer into this case, or is it straight forward enough that I wouldn't need one? If I need one, then it would suck cause the cost of a lawyer would be more than what he owes me anyways. I really need advice, thank you. (link)

My boyfriend is a gorgeous guy who is well mannered (yes sir no sir yes ma'am, no ma'am to all adults) He is athletic and really smart (straight A's in school)but for some reason he always wears his paper napkin tucked in the collar of his shirt when he eats and I don't think that is what most 16 year olds do when they eat. I have not done that since I was 10 years old. Should I say something to him about it. My mom thinks it is cute and told me not to say anything because it would probably embarrass him. I have seen his younger brother (14) do the same thing at dinner one night so I guess maybe his parents require this. What should I do? (link)

I am a 15 year old girl, and I really want cat. I have been wanting one for years, and I know I can take care of it. This isn't just a want, or a phase. We recently adopted a rabbit, but he either ran away or was taken by a raccoon (through no fault of my own), I realized it would actually be possible to get a cat.
I have a ferret currently, and I think she is lonely, since our other one died about a year ago of cancer. I have read and it seems like ferrets and cats get along really well. I also just want to experience feline companionship. Everybody in my family except for my little sister and I have lived with a cat or cats, and they all say they are amazing animals, and it's a delight to live with them.
My father has cat allergies, however I have read in many places and apparently there has also been a test done, proving that Abyssinian and Siberian cats are hypoallergenic (meaning, they produce fewer allergens). Some people are giving their Siberian cat away, and their personality also seems so nice.
My father's allergies are not severe, and nobody has asthma, and my father was allergic to our bunny, but managed. Also, my mom wanted to foster two rabbits, and my dad said no, not because of allergies, because "they poop all over the place," which is very true, and he stated that he would actually prefer to have a kitten or cat instead of a bunny.
Since I am home schooled, I will be home all day, and I have a large family, so the cat will never be truly alone. I have read about cat care and everything. My mom's reasons for not wanting a cat are as follows:
-We have already had a pet (ferret), so I don't need any more long term pets
-It's a lot of responsibility
-Where will I find the time to care for it when I'm in university (a fair point, but I will not be moving out-tips for this are welcome)
-Dad's allergies (a problem I have solved)
-It may also be money (She hasn't mentioned it, though), but I have a $20 allowance, which will cover the food. My grandmother, who lives with us, would be willing to contribute, too, and the cat I'm looking at is already spayed, and I have read Siberians rarely get diseases domestic and other breeds get (but I can get a job to pay for emergencies).
The first two reasons are the main ones, I believe.
My older sister and brothers also object, however my brother isn't an animal person, period. Though he will probably give it some attention, as he really did like our rabbit.
My sister wanted a kitten/cat so much, just a year ago, and I don't understand why she doesn't want one now. She still likes felines. She's almost 20, so it may have something to do with her possibly moving out in some years.
I am totally willing ad ready for this 15 -20 year commitment (the cat I want is 4 yrs so will probably be with us more like 15 yrs). I know it's a longterm commitment. If possible, I need to convince her before the people give their cat away, otherwise I will have to wait for a siberian/abyssinian to pop up again.
