i want to get lasik surgery. how much does it cost, how well could you see afterward?

As the two previous answers prove, Lasik' like any other surgery has it's risks and rewards. Like some other totally elective surgery' Lasik' has some extremely qualified and not so qualified clinicians. So it is important to find a center that has a history of successful procedures.
Lasiks does not correct all vision problems. Before undergoing a Lasik procedure I would get a second opinion from a non-participation Opthamologist, meaning one that does not do Lasik procedures.
As to cost; I have seen the procedure advertised costing anywhere from $2,000 to $5,000. It is the type of surgery that can charge whatever the traffic and community will bear as it is generally not covered by insurance. Insurance will only cover this procedure if the problem is the result of a medical condition or an accident.

i dont reccomend doing it... it leaves damage behind for 2000$
