i've checked out the symptoms of depression,and i have all the mental ones but one,which is thoughts of suicide.although i have though about death,but not like that. (i dont know the phisical ones of depression,if there are any) it all seems to fit, but the problem is, im really not exactly sad,i just feel compleatly emotionless. like, i feel no emotions. i wish i could just feel something,but its never there. so what do you think, would it make sence? i know you can't diagnose,but is it worth telling my mom and getting help? by the way, i'm 14 and female. thanks.

Not sure if this is in the right category but whatever. I'm getting my bellybutton pierced in a couple of weeks and I need to know the risks involved. Please only answer if you've actually gotten it pierced. Also what's the pain like compared to getting your ear pierced. Thanks.

Everyone's body is different so there's really no way to tell if the piercing will heal properly. If you clean it like you're suppose to, you'll have a lower chance of infection. There aren't many risks involved if you go to a professional with a clean shop and a license for piercing.

As far as pain, I'd say it's about the same as getting your ear pierced but it's a very quick pain.

for my 13th birthday which is on 25th december, im getting the top of my right ear peirced and i was just wondering do i use a proper earring or can i use a body bar?? bcoz my mate has her ear pierced in the middle of her ear and she uses a body bar.

It all depends on the size of the needle your ear is pierced with. Some places use proper earrings and some use body bars.

okay so theres this guy i like and i dont think he knows i like him or knows who i am. we never really talk but every time i see him it seems like hes looking at me and smiles at me and if im talking to my friend (shes friends with him) he will come over and say hi to her which he never does when im not around...i want to know if he really might like me or if its wishful thinking?

You should try to talk to him when he comes over and says hi to your friend and see what happens.

ok so i'm sorry if this is long but for you guys 2 understand you need sum background info. I want guys and grls 2 answer this question please.
First of all i'm 14/f and in 8th grade. I like this guy alot at my skool. We are friends and talk 24/7 on IM. We have 2 classes with eachother band and L.A. When we go on band trips he askes me 2 sit by him on the bus, he's been asking me who I like lately and sumtimes i c him looking at me. Plus he is so nice 2 me and says things that make me feel good about myself. Seems like he likes me right? Wrong. So I found out who he likes and he says that that is true. Plus another sucky thing for me is that the girl he likes, likes him back! How much worse could this get? I was devistated. I keep talking 2 him and he does the same things. Are these things signs? Or do I just like him alot and I want them 2 mean sumthing they dont? Any way i'm just really confused. I need 2 know how 2 make this guy like me. I REALLY REALLY like him and I really want him 2 like me back. I really need help please. I know there r hundreds of these kinda questions but i don't know i just need you 2 answer this one please.

He sounds like just a really good friend.

It's possible that he could like you but not think much of it because of this other girl he likes now.

You should talk to him about your situation and see what he's thinking.

Well at ym B-ball practices i really play my hardest and act fun. But when I go to my games i freeze up and play like i dont know what im doing. The play offs are coming up and I dont wanna mess up my team. Im not stage fright or nervous. I just dont play right. Please help or give advice

When you're at a game, just try as hard as you do at practice. Maybe even pretending you are at practice could help. Maybe you try too hard at the games.

You should give her the letter because then atleast she will know that you understand her feelings and you care. That might even possibly make her like you a little more. But if she likes you more as a friend then you probably shouldn't ask her out. Especially after giving her a letter that states that you understand she really just likes you as a friend.

Okay so, there is this guy that I like. The only problem is, I don't think he knows me. He is in my drama class but we never talk and I am sorta nervous to be around him. My friend is really good friends with him though, but I am also nervous to tell her! I really like him though, what do I do?!?

You should hang out with your friend when she is talking to this guy. Then you might start to get more comfortable with being around him when you see how easy it is for your friend. Then you can slowly start talking to him and getting to know him more. That should help with you guys getting to be friends. Then you can tell your other friend that you do like the guy and I'm sure she'll help you out with that.

Ignore the fact that he doesn't fit into your "usual-crowd" genre. If you really like him, it will be easier to know if you look past things like that. Also, if you do end up realizing that you really like him, it won't matter that he isn't like you. If your guy friends are having the same problem, not getting along with this guy because he isn't their style, try to talk to them about the good qualities of this guy and that they shouldn't judge him on his style.

Nyquil and dayquil both work good but the liquid kinds are pretty nasty, so I'd go with the gel caps.

Im 15/f and its been 2 years since i was really involved in a relationship. From 5th grade-8th grade i had a nice share of relationships..but now it seems like i'll never have a relationship with someone until after i graduate! I'm a normal 15 yr old.. i want someone to like me and i want to like them back..have a relationship..make out with them..have a bond with them ,etc. Its getting to the point where im becoming desperate for someone. The best thing to do is just wait. Just keep being yourself and I'm sure you will find someone, but being desperate isn't a good way or reason to start a relationship. Relationships are suppose to be special, don't settle for just anyone.

I'm 19/f. I dont know how to solve this problem between me and my mom. Were constanly rowing and i dont know how to make them stop. The rows are about everything home my job money the lot. Its really getting me down and i'm getting really really depressed i've tried talking to her but it just ends in a row. Help.

Sometimes it's good to spend some time apart. Constant arguments can be caused by being around someone too much. If you live with her, try staying at a friends' house for a few days. If you don't live with her, try minimizing contact with her for a little while.
