I have regular brown hair and I am kind of bored and want to dye like a strand of my hair blue. So what's best to use, kool aid, food coloring, or cheap hair dye from wal mart? I don't want it to last very long. Like a week or two. So that's why I'm hesitant to use real hair dye. I'm just bored and in the mood to experiment. (link)

You need to bleach first.
Then get a semi-perm/temp dye.
Stargazer dye in coral blue is great, washes out easy enough.

WEll..to start off..my bf isn't a perv, or just want's me for my body. We have been dating for awhile and i know that he doesn't just want me for sex..we both like to talk about it..but it's not ALL we talk about. We talk about how he can't wait until he gets to see me next year, and he wants to spend the rest of his life with me. He acutally proposed to me..its not offical of course...>.< he just asked "dont freak out, but i want to ask you something." So i said " ok?" and he said "what would you say..if i asked you to marry me." My heart started racing and I felt myself get all shaky. i said " i would say yes." than he said So..will you marry me..??" I said " yes." Than he freaked out and was like "omg, finally somone who wants me for me..and who won't ever leave me." Many girls before left him..and one ..;/ his first love..well she died in a car crash..and now he has nightmares of me leaving him. I don't ever want to..but to the question is..i sent a sexy picture to him..he told me i didn't have to at all..and he could wait..but i wanted to..i wasn't naked..i was hidden in his jacket..u could see the middle of my chest thts it. I can trust him with that stuff though..he never broke my trust in anyway. We have been dating for a while now..months..he knows the exact date ..hha I don't remember..i told him thats all im sending nd he said "good because i don't need these.I can wait for as long as you want me to." He's very good to me..we do..have the phone sex..>.< rofl but it was my idea..and it just..happend..We both are sexual like that..and we only share that stuff with each other. He is so much like me it's surprizing. He doesn't have a good homelife..;/ he doesn't have any parents so he lives with his grandmothers and they don't want him. Even though he makes them dinner and cleans the house and what not..he just recently got grounded for no reason..right after making dinner for them. He respects them..and does what they say..he also had a rule where he can't talk past 9..so he has to sneak to call me. ;/ I'm really stuck on this guy i just recently got dentention because teachers saw him hugging me , nd giving me a quick peck after school. He always use to meet me after school, but now he doesn't because he doesn't want to risk me getting introuble because of him. He cried and cried after it ..it really made him feel bad. ;/ You can tell he cares about me..and i wouldn't be the same without him.
Do you think we are doing ok..in our relationship.. ?I always get upset because my parents and his..try to split us up because of our age diffrences..>.< makes us both upset.

Personally, would you prefer to donate you own money to
a)your community and/or country
b)other countries who live in a higher poverty(kenya, chad, Haiti)
Would your donation depend on the cause.(eg. money for food.Money for shelter.Money for sanatation. money to help orphans)
i would just like to know because i am interested in holding a fundraiser at my school but am still unsure of where to give the money. Where would you care more to donate to?
(Am especially weary of Haiti because so many have donated so much there already)

Last night I came downstairs really late and saw my dad on the computer. I was walking through the house to go to the kitchen for a drink and saw that he was on some sort of video-chat with another woman. She had her top off though and my dad was typing to her.
Today I sort-of tried to see if my dad would tell me anything about what was going on last night. I said to him, "You were up pretty late last night. Was everything OK?" He said he was up getting some paperwork done for work. I couldn't really do any more confrontation about it but he didn't seem nervous at all.
Over the past month I've noticed my dad coming home late from work and taking private calls in my parents' bedroom sometimes. My mom doesn't seem to think anything is strange but I'm wondering if he is cheating on my mom.
Should I talk to my dad about this and tell him I saw him chatting with a half-naked woman? Should I tell my mom about what I saw? Should I stay out of it completely? I don't want my parents to break up or get a divorce so I want this to be handled properly but I don't know if I should bring it out in the open first. Advice? (link)

I think you need to talk to your mother about it, I mean, family are meant to look out for each other.
It's a really horrible thing to do, if you kept this from your own mother.

At my school we have a battle of the classes thing and we have a theme and this year our theme is greeks vs. gladiators. and my class is gladiators. me and my friend came up with the idea of makeing shirts that say "this is sparta!" on it. but we are not sure if spartans are considered gladiators, we dont really know what gladiators are lol. well your help is very much appreciated. if our idea isnt a good one than please suggest others. thanks (link)

okay so im not sure if this is the right category to put it in but oh well. so basicaly my laptop charger the plug bit that goes into the laptop it's self, the wires have gone abit funny its like the plastics case around all the electric wires has slit some how and when i move it abit sparks come out of it. if i put electrical tape around it will it help ? The same happened to mine, tape works if you wrap it tight enough, but it's dangerous as the electricity is openly flowing so be really careful.
It just fizzles out after a while, so you should order a new one and use tape while you're waiting.

I know minorities hve a greater chance of getting into Ivy League colleges because they want a diverse student body.
I'm 1/8 Native American; would that affect their admissions decision? I wrote my college essay about finding out about this part of my heritage because that was a pivotal point of my life.
If it, in fact, does positively affect their decision, would I be asked to prove it? Because I have absolutely no proof (it's a long story). :( (link)

What the F, yeah use your heritage to get into college, rather than actually using your brain, such a great idea.
It makes me sick that anyone should have a higher chance of getting into college based on what their ethnicity is, it's complete anti-white racism, and it's unfair.
Everyone should have a fair chance, diversity at stake or not.

Me and my boyfriend have been together for three years and he has decieded to join the army and left for basic about a week ago! I was really upset about it i am use to talking and seeing him everyday it have been a large adjustment but i think we can make it through. I just want to know what i can do to make it easier on him because as much as i miss him he has to bee missing me more! I am in this situation,although me and the guy aren't together whne he's away. To make it easier, generally what I do is give him a txt now and again,calls/letters,whatever to tell him I'm missing him and have a chat about how he is etc
Give hime small tokens,eg I gave my friend a small soldier's medal the last time he was home,and he appreciated that.
