I have this group of friends that dont go to my school that i love to hang out with. yesterday we all went to the park and got pretty drunk. I ended up making out with this guy for ages. He supposedly had forced this girl to have sex with him quite a while ago and that girl was really angry at me. Now shes still really angry at me for making out with him. Everyone wants to go out in a couple of days and i dont know wheter to go or not because that girl has turned a few people agaisnt me.I really like that group of people and i think this girl is blowing the whole situation out of proportion , when really its nothing. she wasnt dating this guy, infact she hates him because he 'forced' her into sex. I really dont now wheter to go out with them or to just leave that group behind ?!? help. :(

The real issue here is that he may have forced a girl to have sex - is that really someone you want to hook up with? What if her version of the story is the right one and he did force her? Do you want to be the next one? I think hanging out with friends is great, but it appears that you are participating in some very risky behavior with this group of friends that could lead you to be in dangerous situations. Is this girl part of the group? And if so, why is she still there if this guy forced her into having sex? Be careful with this group of people and be cautious with this guy - the whole situation makes me nervous for you.

Ok well, im skinny. But my arms have like a flab where my muscle should be. You know the part under your shoulder. Well I was just wondering how I could get that to go away? Cause it really bothers me like when i move it jiggles (gross I know!). Also when I put my arms down to my side it like flattens out and makes my arm look big and fat. So i was just wondering how I could get that to go away!! Thanks to the people who arn't jerks about it. I'll rate.

The part of your arm you need to work is your triceps and biceps. You have to work both the front and back musles of the upper arm because they work together.

For the triceps, google "Standing tricep extension" and "Tricep dip." These are two really powerful exercises. You'll get lots of hits, so find the web site with the instructions that you like. If you are just starting out, I suggest 3-5 pound weights.

For the biceps, do a standard bicep curl - arms at your sides, elbows held in to your sides. Lift the weight, concentrating on lifting with the muscles of the upper arm, not the forearm. And don't swing your arms! If you're having trouble controlling the weight, use a smaller weight.

If you can get to the gym, the rowing machine is a great workout for your entire upper body.

Good luck!

alright i just want to know if there is ne way for me to lose weight and gain more muscle ik im a bit on the chubby side and i just want to know any ways to lose weight and gain muscle w/out actually lifting weights b/c i have no way to get access to weights

Cardio will get you started losing weight and will give you some tone to your muscle, but if you really want to gain muscle, you'll need to do some strength training. If your school offers weight lifting, that's a great place to start. Or get hand weights for at home and look up workouts on the internet.

Best of luck!

when you run, where do you loose weight? just all over your body or is it in specific areas? i've heard you loose weight in your stomach, thihgs, butt, and love handles! is that right?

Where you lose weight will depend on your body composition. If you're consistent with healthy eating and exercise you will show improvements over your entire body!

Good luck!

ok i think im fat because i hav a BIG gut like the bottom of my stomach sticks out....i HATE it and the other night i was crying because i thought i was fat and ugly i want to look skinny it doesnt matter if my stomach sticks out just a little bit but i wwant my gut gone. O ya i hav diabetes so its a little harder for me to lose weight. PLease help i rate!

When I was a freshman in high school, a classmate asked me if I was pregnant. I wasn't, but I've struggled with the "pouch" most of my life. The keys to losing weight are eating right and exercising. Because of your diabetes, you have special considerations, so your best bet is to have a serious discussion with your doctor about your dietary needs.

As for exercise, also speak to your doctor about starting an exercise program and then look for fun workouts that will keep you interested. Your local library should have exercise videos/DVDs that you can check out. I personally enjoy the Walk Away the Pounds series with Leslie Sansone and I use an exercise ball. The best feature of the exercise ball is that the keep your balance to do the exercises, you are constantly using your abdominal muscles! There are some targeted exercises for your abs as well, like crunches.

And while you're in the process of improving your health, find some clothes that accentuate the parts of you that you like and be proud of yourself for taking the steps to a live a healthier life!

You can get iron-on patches from fabric stores, craft stores, music stores, skate shops... Depending on what your school allows, you can find lots of patches to match your individual tastes. Have fun!
