f/16: there are 2 guys that i like the good boy and the bad boy. please tell me which u think is better and why.
the good boy: likes to have fun, former bmx biker, likes to chill, friends kinda boring unless you like to just sit there an talk; in band, up to do pranks, doesnt do drugs,and likes kids but doesnt have any.
the bad boy: loves to have fun, skater, drummer, never a dull moment, always up to pranks, does drugs, likes kids but doesnt have any, always ends up in trouble (not major trouble).

If you got a friend that your really trying to be close to and this girl lets say wants to be close with you to only when shes mad she threatins to hurt herself and takes her anger out on you and everyday you bring up someone else she gets jealous and thinks your replacing her and gets mad at you for stupid stuff and says that it's all your fault at the end when you barly did anything wrong in the first place what do you do to try and make it work or try to fix the problem I mean how can you deal with someone like this should I let her go cause im afraid to cause she might go and kill herself she has tried before so I know she dosn't say it for attention... Try to help her. Make sure she knows that you're always there for her (if you want to be). I thin it'll help things if she knows she can trust you. Just be there for her. And try to get her help- but be really careful around her. Gift Cards- ya can't fail. Try a gift card to an ice cream shop, if there's a good one nearby. Try to go with a place that suits your friend- whether it's a coffe shop, or a clothes store- and you can't go wrong with a place like media play- because everyone can find something there!

I like a guy who's confident, and fun to be around- someone's who's not too "heavy" about the relationship, not too overprotective, and not overly flattering- but someone who does the small things. Check your newspaper, first of all. If you get the Charlotte Observer, then look in the arts and books section on Sunday. They put listings up for upcoming auditions.(the inside front page of the section, normally.) Also, go online, and search for Youth theatres in your county. Most youth theaters hold auditions for people up to their early twenties- and make sure to try out for any play that you can! Most schools have about 2 plays a year, so get involved in those, if you can. Have fun! If you want more information, email me at rain2follow@yahoo.com. I was addicted to Mountain Dew- And I would do the same thing that you mentioned! But I decided to cut myself to two a day. You will go through withdrawals, just as you would with drugs, because the caffiene is addictive. But find an alternative- Apple juice was mine! =) No matter what, don't let yourself have any more than the limit you set. After 2 weeks(at the most), it will be easy to drink only the alloted number. Have fun!
Oh- also, you could pour about 2 oz. of pepsi into a cup FILLED with crushed ice- that way, it looks like you're drinking alot of pepsi. After you drink it all, crunch the ice. It helps, believe me!

Hey everyone, 15/m here and I wanted to get my ears pierced today, both of them. I asked my parents they said fine I could get it done. But right when I was about to be out the door my mom asks "which ear?" then I said both. And she gives me this look and asks "why?". She just goes and asks question after question after question after question and starts talking about what getting your ears pierced mean you're gay or some shit. Hello mom!!! That was last millenium, maybe if I wanted to get just my right ear pierced then that would mean I'm gay, but either way, I'm not, I had a g/f, she's seen her etc. Guys everywhere have both of their ears pierced, I see it in my school, I see it in the NBA, I see it in the NFL, in music videos. I don't know wtf is her prob with it being just my left or both. And I wanna get it done TODAY. What should I do?

Tell her calmly that it's very acceptable today for guys to ave both of their ears pierced. But don't show frustration, because that will make her feel as if you are trying to rebel- and she will be more likely to not allow you to get them pierced. Remind her, also, that she said you could- but don't say it like you're trying to shove it down her throat. Good Luck-

I had that problem!
Well, you could take up guitar- that way your nails have to be short! =)
But if you really want nails, the no-bite stuff won't work.
What I did was:
I put on nail polish, and made my SHORT nails look really nice. When I found myself starting to pick them, I would look at how pretty they were with the color. And I would carry around a SOFT nail file- and instead of picking them, I would file them gently. That way, the shape looked great, too! That gave me even more reason to stop picking them. You just have to replace the habit with something that is healthy for your nails, like filing them.
Eventually, you will stop picking them, and they will get longer. Also, use a nail polish that makes them stronger- a nail polish with vitamins and minerals to protect and strengthen your nails. It will make them stronger, and make them grow faster.
Once my nails grew out, I found them to get in the way. But you may like them. Have fun! =)

Well, if your dad likes him "just for him", that's a good sign. You could invite him over to your house, and have your parents spend ttime with you two. That way, you can all get to know each other, and they will most likely be more comfortable with you two being more than just friends. But don't try to be sneaky, or anything- that will ruin the trust they put in you and the relationship. Good Luck!

One of my good friends used proactive. It cleared everything up almost immediately- within 3 days to a week. Everyone I see that uses it has beautiful skin. If you do get it, though, just make sure to wash with it on a regular basis, or you won't see the results as quickly. It works whether your skin tends to break out mildly or heavily.

this year, our my grade got a new student. he sat at the table next to mine in lunch. The second i saw him, i felt like i knew him and i felt like i needed to be friends with him. He is on my bus also and i found many times he would turn around and look at me. Then we started talking on AIM and eventually he would turn around in lunch and sit at my lunch table. Recently this summer, he asked me to hang out with him and he even ditched the girl he liked to hang out with me all day and then he told her he had fun with me and my other friend. It sounds like you guys have a very fun, tight relationship. It reminds me of one of my best friends (who is a guy) and me. I wouldn't try to make anything of it until you feel like you have to. I am a 13 year old boy, and a friend of mine is really beginning to annoy me. She (Yes, I have a friend who is a girl. No problems there.) keeps on mooning over other guys in front of me, telling me how much she thinks that they're hot, or how good looking they are, or how totally awesome their hair is, etc. CONSTANTLY. I don't think that there has ever been a moment where she's not talking about some other guy.
Sometimes, I suddenly get this weird jealousy feeling, but I don't feel jealous, I just want her to stop talking about other guys, and have us just be friends again.

Well, my advice would be to adjust your embochure to find the most comfortable way for you to play. It helps if you re-adjust every time you get your braces tightened, so be prepared to take your instrument home. It's not always a bad thing- sometimes, adjusting your embochure enhances your tone quality- and you'll get so used to playing in different ways that you'll be able to produce a wider range of tones. As in, it will increase your ability to play high and low notes, as well as the tone differences (bright/dark) Email me if you have any more questions- check my Column (blue_exodus)
By the way- stay with band! I don't know what grade you're in, but it will become the greatest experience of your life- especially marching band. It may sound dorky, but it's not. Ask him about himself. Everybody loves to feel that they are interesting- so keep the conversation flowing with questions. I would go for quality over quantity. As long as those two friends are true friends that are always there for you, that's all you really need. (Believe me, I only have a few friends, and I'm happier than I ever was when I was trying to fit in!) But if you really want more friends, then try to get out more. Scared of doing it alone? Get your friends to go with you. And don't be afraid of what people will think- people love someone who is outgoing and not afraid of making fun of themselves!
