Q: I am 15 and a girl and of course I like this guy. Lets call him Bob. Bob is so sweet to me and the other day I was having a bad day and he just let me hug him and hug him and then we walked to this room we both had tutoring in with his arm around my waist and mine around his. I could swear that he likes me.

And once we fake went out (LOOONG STORY) and I want to ask him out and be like "Remember when we fake went out? well I was thinking we could do that again, but without the fake." Or to just ask him to dinner or something but not SUPER obvious. Something like "Do you play pool? I found this great little place where we could go that has the best food."

I dont know but I really like him and I love being his friend and he's my best guy friend but I just want something more.

Please any advice at all is welcome. Thank you for reading this! I'm sorry it's kind of long.

The way you say he acts around you, it's pretty obvious that he likes you. By saying the "without the fake" idea, he would be able to remember some good times about you two and be more likely to say yes. Plus, it's a really cute idea! Go for it! Good luck!

Q: What would you wear to a bridal shower? I don't want to be too dressy or too casual.. unless you're supposed to be dressed casual. Help please? :)

It really depends on where it will be held, but a good outfit in between dressy and casual will let you fit-in in either setting. I suggest a nice dressy sun dress if it's warm, or, if it's cooler, some basic black, or brown pants with a colorful nice top or sweater. Hope i helped! Good luck!

Q: Im 15/F and i just reastily broke up w. my boyfriend...kody me n him are OK now. but his friend billy wants to go out w. me. All school year billy was mean to me. and he would deny to me tht he dont like me. But i think that the reason y bill was so mean to me was bc he did/does like me. But the thing is that i think i may still kinda love kody bc we broke up so soon. WOW i really dont know wht to do. and the odd thing is that bill has been acting nicer to me latly like not making fun of me at all. idk if i should go out with billy or not. i dont like him like he likes me but at the same time i dont want him to hate me bc i said no... again. what should i do???

if you don't like billy like that, then don't go out with him. if you are worried he is going to hate you, think about it, either you are being yourself and he hates you or (if you do go out with him) you are lying to not only him, but yourself and everyone else too. then, when he finds out you are faking it, he will hate you twice as much. and believe me, he will find out. do everyone, especially yourself a favor and say no.

Q: okay, so i'm 14/m and she's 14/f and i really like her but i don't know where i should take her on our first date (if she'll go out with me) if you live in st. louis area, (or anyware) got any advice?

You could always go to the movies or the mall and there are always like coffee shops/cafes that usually serve food too that you could take her. Somewhere near a park would be good too. If there are any carnivals going on near by that would be perfect. Also it might be good to go with a group to make things more casual, after all it is your first date. Good luck! Hope i helped!

Well, no i can't think of why it would turn you on, because, surprisingly, it's a very personal thing. No one can really understand why something would turn someone else on, because it's inside their head. Maybe you like to be in the center of attention or like girls with power. Q: Well today I am going to hang out with my boyfriends family but he has a little brother of around 5 years old. Uhm I am not very good with kids... Well, as the youngest in my family, when my siblings brought home friends, i hated it when they acted differently towards me than my family and their friends. My advice would be to be yourself. Q: There is this guy, Zack I really like. He used to like me but now he doesnt. I dont know why he doesnt anymore. I didnt do anything wrong. We barely ever talk to eachother. I think he hates me but I really like him. What should I do?

It sounds like to me, that you don't know him really, really well. You don't know for sure that he doesn't like you. He may like you and just may act a different way. Remember: All guys act differently. He may just be afraid that you don't like him and is building a barrier of pretend haterad, so that if you reject him, he will feel protected. This all may seem like a little much, but people do weird things when they are in love. I think you should talk to him. Flirt. A lot. Not too, too obvious, but just enough so that he knows for a fact. Have your friends talk to him and find out who he likes. Stuff like that should work. Good luck!

Q: I was in a relationship notice i said "was" it seems like that now, he came across as sweet and caring in the beginning, then after awhile he became demanding, manipulative, controlling and then finally he just stayed around for the sake of torment. I got out of it by the only means I knew how and he wanted to sit there and watch as I took a knife to my wrist and sliced away, do you know what it felt like? Numb.It was far better to do that to myself then to constantly listen to the verbal abuse everyday,i shut myself away and figured hurting myself for getting myself into this situation in the first place was my own punishment for me to constantly remember how overpowering someone can be on you.Guilt at first was mine for not having the strength to walk away and tell him to go to hell...now i hear that he still verbally abuses about me to anyone who will take time out to listen to his sorry ass. am i glad i am not talking to him anymore? i guess i shud be glad im still breathing and he has no knowledge where i am. im safe for now but i dont know what to think anymore about people.

i'm sorry you felt the need to take a knife to your own wrist. it may be hard to trust people now, but you will have to sometime. dating violence is very real and is happening more than you will know, so you are not alone. planned parenthood, not only does birth control and helps people with their sexuality, but helps with dating violence. they can and will help you to protect yourself from him and others who abuse. someone like that may seem very powerful now, but in the long run, he will not lead a happy life at all. don't completely shut yourself out from people. you can and most definitly will now, but they're people (professionals) who can help. good luck!

Q: Which would look better on a very modern bright pink lamp with green 3D spots on it, a square or circle shaped lamp shade? Both lamp shades are matching green and the lamp's shape is like a pyramid. Thanks ahead!

I think that the square shade would go well, because it would mimic the geometrical base of the lamp nicely. Before you make your final dicision, try both on and test them out. If you like the other better, than go for it! It's your lamp after all! Good luck!

Everyone has a different opinion on this topic. You have to figure it out on your own. A lot of people think that God created the earth with help from science, others belive it was only God and even more belive it was purely science. Truthfully, no one can decide for you and you have to decide whether or not you belive in God or not. You can research by using google, religous sites, the bible and other books. Hope I helped!

Q: 14/f i play music (sing & play guitar/piano) and lots of it i would call country music. most kids hate country music, i know! but i love it. i really want to have a carreer in music but i don't want all my friends and people i know to be hating the type of music i play. should i just go for it or should i change my style a little, more pop or rock or something? please tell me your thoughts on any of this. thank you! i rate

Though a lot of people don't like country music, a lot still do. I'm sure if your friends and family will appreciate it and like it more when you play it. If you feel that isn't enough, then adjust it a little. If you do end up adjusting it, do it a very little, yet noticeable ammount, so that you don't lose your style. Otherwise it won't be your music. Play around with different sounds, adding different genres into your country to make a unique sound all your own. Good luck! Hope I helped!

Q: My ex- boyfriend went out with one of my friends while he was going out with me. Now i'm going out with one of his friends becasue i really like him and i needed to get over my ex- boyfriend. Now that me and his friend go out his is mad at me.
Is that fair i mean he went out with her while he was going out with me and now that i go out with his friend he is mad at me is thta wrong or fair???

Q: So im 15/f and i so far have never took any chances! Ive never even kisseda boy for crying out loud becuase i am scared. I think my parentals made me this way. Truthfully, the reason why they have the 21 years law is because adults are more responsible when it comes to drinking, and drinking can destory brain cells really easily until the age of 25 so they have the law to keep everyone safe. People under the age of 21 also can get addicted a lot easier, so it's better for you to wait until you are old enough. Truthfully, if your friends are presuring you to drink or are calling you a good girl or princess in a mean way, then they aren't very good friends for not respecting you and then makeing fun of you. Okay, before you do anything. You must know that your right about relationships being special and you may feel like you can't wait, but you might have to. There is no age where you need a boyfriend. It will happen when it happens. Now about this boy...if you really like him then you should begin to flirt with him. You can smile at him say little things like "cool" or "nice" or even just "hi" when you see him around or are talking to him. Laughing at his jokes (as long as they are harmless) is a good start too. Let him know that you are intrested in at least a friendship. Then you can work your way up to conversations about things in common and news and stuff like that. It will happen if you are patient and let things flow. Good luck!

Q: Theres this guy that i really really like, but i can hardly talk to him in person... what should i do? i've tryed saying hi to him in the hallways and stuff but that hasnt ever started a big conversation. i ran into him one time @ grand central (we live in new york)and he looked right at me and waved. i think thats the most interaction we've ever had though. i know he has msn messenger, and so do i, should i try to get his screen name? or are there better things i can do?

Well, 1st off, your friend was wrong/lied. 2nd of all about this guy...i'm in a similar secumstance and i know it sucks. You should continue saying "hi" in the hallway, because even if it doesn't spark a big conversation, it lets him know you are closer than just someone he knows and that's a start. i think getting his sn is a great idea, becuase a lot of times you will feel less nervous when talking, but be sure to make all big things in person, because internet isn't always the most personal or private or safe. If you have classes with him, you can start to make comments like "nice" or "cool" or just smile at him when he gets something right. things will happen in know time. hope i helped and the best of luck!

Q: Im 16 and ive never really been kissed. I have..but not a full makeout session or nothing. No, it's not bad to not have madeout by the age of 15, 16, 17 or really any age. The great thing about a first kiss is that it's special and unexpected. Makeing it an expectation will lose it's magic. About your friends talking about kissing, maybe they are almost just as inexperienced as you and they are just trying to hide it by makeing stuff up. Maybe because they tried to force their kisses, your first kiss will be more meaningful and passionate than all of theirs' combined. Don't worry about it. It will happen and it will be magical.

Q: i have a haircut scheduled for a few days from now. until yesterday, i knew exactly what i wanted to do: shoulder-length, with side bangs. then, i went to my friends house yesterday, and she asked if i liked her new haircut. of course i did: it was exactly what i was going to have done. now im not sure if i should still get that cut. it was really what i wanted, but i don't want her and everyone else to think i copied her. what should i do?

Okay, what you could do is change it up a little. get a few more layers, change the length, or even change the style of bangs (get side swept bangs from both sides-very similar to one side, yet different). Little changes will give you the same look, without being exactly the same. You could also get a whole new look if you want. Like, i thought i wanted short straight hair with side swept bangs, but instead i got short hair that was wavey and framed my face-even better than my original idea. What i did was asked my hair dresser what would look cute on me. After all, she is a pro. Good luck and hope i helped!
