i want to lose weight over the summer. im not really that fat, im just heavier than i look. but its really annoying when my parents keep hinting that i should work out. they say they dont think im fat but im like.. why do they keep telling me this? its really annoying, cause then they say that i eat too much which i do sometimes, but im still not fat, nor have i ever been, really. i mean, im black (not american, like my parents were from africa) and black people naturally tend to have heavier bones, whether they appear to be fat or not. or some people say its muscle? i dunno. anyways, what are ways i can work out? like im 13, but how can i tone my stomach, butt, thighs, and arms before school starts? im also a girl. i mean i kinda want to be more fit too, i just dont want my parents to keep bugging me when i already know. i tell them this yet they still do it. i want to train like really early in the morning before my family wakes up, so i can get used to it and during the school year i can also train then. so what can i do?
um im thinking of trying out for my soccer team in the fall, but i didnt sign up yet though tryouts are in a month. sign ups ended like in june, and there was another part of the form due in like 2 weeks. ummm do you think i should give it a shot that they'd still let me try out? and im not even the best soccer player. i love that sport but.. my family is complicated now, since my dad is working in a diff state for some time, and my mom said this year we'd have to sacrifice a bit since my dad cant drive us to places sometimes. i still really wanna get in that. i like to play mid, halfback, and fullback, but i also need better skills in offense which i totally suck in. ugh, our school is really tuff. last year i tried out and didnt even make the b team. i dunno what to do anymore.. but please help. i also wanna do dance, but its harder to drop me for that than for soccer. :(
and its not like i dont eat healthy foods. my parents make lots of cultural foods. my mom just stopped buying bread.. we have like no snacks except for fruits like bananas and apples and junk. its annoying but when sometimes i just feel like eating for no reason, though im not that hungry. and when theres nothing to eat, i either eat too much fruit, too much food, or i binge on something else im not supposed to eat.. i know im not supposed to eat it, cause my mom told me not to eat it yet. but its like.. i dunno i guess i think that it would be the last time but it keeps happening. sometimes i even eat random stuff like sugar... i know its bad but.. i guess i have a problem. my mom keeps asking if i have a food problem and i say no.. please help me here i dont want to go to some wacko like psychologist. im sure my problem can be fixed

my boyfriend is a total jerk. he dosnt say hi to me anymore. he hangs up on me swears at me is violent to me says he dosnt care about me nemore as much as he did says he hates seen me gets ppl to tel me hes not were he is so i dont come see him. says he hates seen me and that he dreads it says that im on the bottum of his list of prioirtys. he dumped me and said he was treating me bad so i wud break it of with him but then he wanted me back. hes grabbed my throat and said hel hit me. he tells people he dosnt want to be with me and im annoying and wishes i would dissapear. altho we hav a serious relashionshop and hav dated for about a year hes gettin himself into serious trouble and been arrested and charged and drinking every night. i love him so much and my biggest fear is that he wil cheat on me. i dont think he loves me neither do any of my friends. i just have alot of fun with him on weekends even tho he ignored me and yells at me for anything and everything i dont have the power to break it off PLEASE HELP ME IM DESPEREATE iv talked to him about it so many times and he gets mad and tells me to fuck off! the basic answer iz he's cheatin on you or he's going through a rough time. if u love him alot then wait for him to come to his senses. if not just move on to the next guy. there's plenty of fish in the sea instead of the jerk of a fish move to the beautiful and smart fish

Aight to make a long story short like a month ago i was at the beach and me and my boy's went to this icecream shop thing or wateva and these 2 sexy girl's i'm talkin like beautiful came and was standing behind me and they was and the dark 1 was tellin the spanish girl to talk to me or wateva so they moved to the other shack but i could still here them talkin and i didn't take my chance and say sumthin and we ended gettin on the same train.....Ironically i have summer program and shorty goes to it 2 and i'm still lost for words and can't say nuttin to this girl what should i do? the best thing to do is try to talk to them
let them know it was wrong and you love them a bunch and maybe hell say he has to think about it but at least you gave it a try even though that was a wrong thing to do at least you know what you did was very wrong

so.. i've been talking to this guy...let's call him murphy. we've been friends for probably about a month now. and he's only "dating" this girl. but i've been helping him out with his love life..and he has been helping me out with mine (even tho i dont have 1 ...LOL) but he's cute,smart and funny...an all in 1 deal...lol. i've liked him since the 1st day i've laid eyes on him. but my friends think he likes me. but i don't want to get carried away b/c something similar to this situation has happened to me before. and yesterday[last day of school] ..we have the same math class so he asks[out loud 4 the whole class 2 hear.."do you want to go to a party with me?" and i'm all smiling n stuff[ trying to ignore him] and he goes u know u want too. you can't dance...huh??,,,then i'm like yea. then he goes, then prove it!!! but i don't know he confuses me sometimes. so what do you think about all of this? and what do you think i should do?? i'm 14/f...and a 9th grader
so i think i like this guy. and idk if he likes me. and i've been fooled many times before so i don't want to be sure he doesn't like me. so i barely see him in skool cuz there's 2000 students in my skool. and when i do see him he smiles at me..and if i walk by him he goes,"you can't say hi?"[and he's still smiling] and it's not like in a RUDE Tone...he says it so sexy..lol [sorry]..so i don't know if i should move on or stick to him. he's a 10th grader and probably 16 yrs. old!!!

i apologize in advance for the length.
i'm 17/f. i don't like drinking. i don't find a point in it. my mom and my sister drink all of the time. it makes them do ridiculously stupid things; typical when you are drunk. my mom has done things like walked into doors, broken valuable things of hers, fallen down the stairs with my cat in her hand, and so on and so forth. my sister is only 19, and she drinks almost every night out of the week. her and her boyfriend broke up over her heavy alcohol use. now, my boyfriend is starting to become a big alcohol user. when i try saying something to them, they say i'm preaching to them, or i'm making everyone mad by preaching to them. what can i say? i'm so sick of everyone telling me i'm preaching to them. i don't like the people they are when they are drinking, and either is my dad. my dad's not even talking to my mom anymore. i need advice on what to say. i don't want to cry about the way things are around my house anymore. any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks :) (link)

Hey don't feel down you can only do all that you to help them. If they don't want to go to help try to see if help can come to them. For your boyfriend tell him that he is either goin to have to stop or the relationship probably will not work. but if youve him all u can do is hope that he will top and until he does help him through it all. Do the same thing with ur mom and sister and see how that works but take small baby steps

ive been going out with this guy for 2 months and its been okay but hes in a different grade and i hardly get to talk to him. my mom took my phone away before i went out with him and i still havnt gotten it back but he has a cell phone. the problem is my parents wont let me talk on the house phone so i have to call him when my parents arent around which is hardly ever! the problem is that every time i get to call him(which is hardly ever)he ethier has his phone off or he wants me to call him back. the longest phone conversation was maby 16 min and then he said to call him tomoro.every conversation we have ends with him saying can you call me later and its so annoying.i called him today and he asked could he call me later and i told him he couldnt because it was my house phone then he told me to call him later and i asked him when and he said he didnt care just to call him later. i was sooo mad that he would say he didnt care. i understand sometimes your doing something important and arent able to talk on the phone but this is EVERY time i call him! i hardly know him because i can never talk to him for more than 2 min.
