i've been in this situation. It was one of my worst times. My girlfriend cheated on me with my best friend. I tried talking to her about the whole situation, and i finally knocked some sense into her. Me and her ended up breaking up, but we got back together a couple of weeks later because we still loved each other. So what im trying to say is wait it out a little bit and see if you and him still love each other like all lovers should.

Honestly, take this from someone who did the same thing. I cheated on my boyfriend two years ago. We broke up 2 weeks after he found out. Since then, I have been trying to get him back with various failed attempts. Your best bet is to take the mistakes you made & change yourself for the better. You can't make him love you again, but you should probably stop talking to him for a little while. Give him some time to himself. While doing so, change yourself because cheating isn't a good quality, and then possibly become his friend and gain his trust back.
I wouldn't expect much though. It sucks to be cheated on.

well you cheted on him he thought he could trust you but you broke his trust. now he is probly upset. the only way to fix this is to tell him you are relly sorry and you really regret what you did. and you just wanna be friends. plus it is hard to earn back trust

I have been in a situation like this, and you ahve to understand all the things it can mean to your BF.
To you, You made a mistake and regret it, you wish you had never done it. But you should learn to accept that you did, and ask him to know that you do still care about him. you made a mistake.
But to Him, It can say so much more. That He was not a good enough boyfriend to keep you interested, that you never cared about him and he was just a boy-toy. You have to understand that this seriously puts his confidence in himself to doubt.
Explain to him that you did that with no intent to harm him, but only as a mistake on a whim.
But don't deny that you cheated on him.
You did, and you have to accept that, you made the error, and this is your fault.
He may accept you back, but if he does, his trust in you will be shaky,so you have to do anything you can to make him comfortable in that he can trust you not to betray him again.

the best thing to do is try to talk to them
let them know it was wrong and you love them a bunch and maybe hell say he has to think about it but at least you gave it a try even though that was a wrong thing to do at least you know what you did was very wrong
