what are the best ways to learn the words to a song? and good tips?? (link)
|
along with the obvious idea of singing the song over and over and continuous practice...you could also listen to the song while you sleep at night. that will get the song going through your brain while you sleep. you could make a cd that has the song on it numerous times or put it on repeat on your Ipod or MP3 player
Hope that helps!

I really dont like aim triton and i cant find a place to download a different version of aim any help? I want a good version. (link)
|
i didn't like the new version either so I switched to a program called GAIM. I find that it takes some getting used to, because its slightly different than AIM. But in a lot of ways its better. You can set names for your friends so that you see their real name and not just their screen name
if you type GAIM into Google it should be the first one to come up.

the guy i like, we were getting along so great!!!! he even treated me like his girlfriend! well now something is going wrong. all of a sudden he hasnt been talkting to me for the past 2 weeks. just like that. click! i dont get it. i didnt do nuthin wrong. we had so much fun together. there are 3 and a half more days of school left and i want to talk to him real bad but im afraid to because im afraid he doesnt want to talk to me for some reason and hell get annoyed if i do or something. i always walk past him and stuff. we never make eyecontact anymore and we never talk and before i had this gut feeling that he liked me too before but now i dont feel anything. my question is what can i do to get him to talk to me again. just like to start a conversation. i did it the first time im just afraid now. thats how the whole thing got started. we were switching classes and all of a sudden i talk to him about my groups project and everything was fine from there. can i get some tips on what i should say to start a conversation. to get things fired up again. im also afraid to tell him i like him or call him. what would i say for that? i always think negative. so what can i do to talk to him or get him to talk to me?

I think your best bet is to be open with him. I know its hard, but you need to actually ask him what is going on. Tell him that it confussed you when he suddenly stopped talking to you. Ask him what was going on. I know thats difficult but its for the best. And from there go with what he says.

well at my school there's going to be a dance. i have a dress already but not shoes. but anywayz i'm not sure if i should go. i mean like, i'm afraid it's going to be wack. and i KNOW no one is going to ask me, but should i go?
note- a semiformal i'm 13yrs.old and in eight grade (link)
|
I would say definitly go. I went to dances alone sometimes in middle school and you know what, sometimes they were more fun alone. Then you can dance with your girl friends and act silly and not have to worry about the date aspect. As far as it being wack, as long as your friends go you can have a good time. Friends, music and dancing can lead to a silly time. Besides that, middle school dances, beleive it or not, you will remember all your life. My friend and I were just discussing and thinking back fondly of ours the other day
besides, you dont want a good dress to go to waste do you ;-)

Hey all. I was just wondering if you could inform me about which park is better between the theme parks and between the water parks, in Disney World in Orlando, Florida. I am a thrill-seeker, meaning I like to go on great adventures and ride really scary roller-coasters, and I also like fun water rides and swimming (especially in wave pools!). Thank-you for your time. (link)
|
If you are a thrill seeker your best bet in Disney World is MGM studios. There you will find rides such as The Tower of Terror (an elevator ride that drops you 13 stories) and the Rock N Roller Coaster (an indoor upside down roller coaster based on Aerosmith). However, Epcot also has a thrill ride, Mission Space (a simulation that really give you the expereince of launching into space, an exceptionally well done ride) And Animal Kingdom has the new coaster Expedition Everest (a ride based on the Yetis that goes backwards for a short period of time). Despite the thrill at these two parks, MGM probably has the most "thrilling" since the other two only have a few thrilling rides. However, if you are seeking real scary coasters your best bet is to try Islands of Adventure which is located not too far from Disney (about 15 minutes) and is a Universal Park. There you will find the Hulk Roller Coaster (one of my favorites) and lots of other thrills
As for water Parks there are two on Disney property. Blizzard Beach and Typhon Lagon. The latter has the most amzing wave pool, it is massive and a center piece of the park. however, Blizzard Beach features Summit Plummit, a massive body slide that is the tallest I have ever seen. Personally, I perfer Blizzard Beach for it's thrilling water rides and it too has a wave pool. However, Typhon Lagon also has many possitve aspects.
Hope that helps. If you have any other Disney questions feel free to ask me. I go there about 2-3 times a year so I know a lot about it.

My alarm wakes me up every morning at 6:00; but I usually hit the snooze button until like 6:40. How can I make myself wakeup and kick the urge to press snooze and go back to bed? (link)
|
Try putting your alarm clock further away from your bed, that way you actually have to get out of bed in order to turn it off. That way you will have to wake up enough to get out of bed and turn it off. It may seem a bit inconvient but it should work.

i am 16 and my boyfriend has been talking about getting married he said he was going to ask me to marry him soon...how do you guys feel about teenage marriage? and why do you feel this way? i need ohter teens advice! thanks xox (link)

I think that it is completely possible that this guy is the one, but I think that at the stage in your life that you are at right now, its really hard to tell. I know it doesn't seem like it right now because you are caught up in your life, but you will change a lot over the next few years. I just finished my freshman year in college, during which I broke up with the guy that I would have sworn a year ago was the one. I recently went out to lunch with him and realized that now him and I are two very different people with two very different lives and had we stayed together that would have become apparent and caused a rift to form in our relationship.
I think that it's great that you love him and that he loves you. And I wish you all the happieness. And feel lucky, its hard to find love not only at your age but really at any age. And enjoy it. But don't tie yourself down just yet. Wait and see how things go. It it is meant to be then you two will last through the changes and can be married when you are older and more ready for it. If you are meant to be then its worth the wait.
Hope that helped a little.

If i live in California and want to text someone in Florida will it cost me any money for like long distance or something? I have Cingular, and i get 200 texts for the month (wich i have not used) Will rate and give feedback. (link)

You have nothing to worry about. I have friends in a variety of states and text them all the time. Your 200 texts will cover it no problem.

See, I'm falling for my best guy friend. And I don't know what to do. Seriously. I know it's so cliche but stfu. If you don't like it, don't read it. I've known him since the 5th grade, we've gone to school together ever since then and we're still at the same school. Things have always been great between him and I, but lately I've been having these feelings towards him that I shouldn't be feeling. Usually among my friends I'm always the one to give advice, but now it's the other way around. Let's say his name is Bret, okay? okay. Brett and I have even been compared to as an old married couple. Because we argue and argue for about an hour, and then five minutes later everything is back to the way it was before. I just don't know what to think, a couple of my friends think he cares about me more than I know. I sort of agree but he cares about me in the way a best friend should, not something more. My friends say maybe he does like you but he's too scared because it might ruin our friendship. But the thing is I can never be mad at him, it's not possible. I try my hardest but it never works. He always wins me back with his stupid boy charms. But I'm just the friend right? And is that all I'll ever be?
Sincerely,
A Girl With A Confused Heart. (link)

I suppose my advice depends on how much you like this guy. If you like "Brett" enough that you feel he is worth taking a chance on, I say try it. Approach him about it. Tell him that you know you are both really good friends, but that lately you have started to have feelings for him. Tell him that you understand if he doesnt feel the same but you didn't want to with hold something major from him. Then tell him that you don't want you telling him this to change the friendship if he doesn't feel the same.
If you think he is the type of guy that will not be effected if you do tell him, then go ahead and try it. But be prepared in case he doesn't like you to follow through and still stay friends and not let any awkwardness come into the friendship

well ok theres a guy in my vocal class and we have become somewhat of a couple just not going out and what not, because i am moving in 3 months but i asked him out anyway i just figured i would just ask just to see...and he's thinking about it...was it a smart idea or should i have not of bothered at all? (link)

I think it was okay for you to ask him out. After all dating someone doesn't always have to be serious, it can just be about a mutual attraction and the good times. So don't worry. You might want to focus on keeping the relationship casual though, not to get too serious. Other wise the transition will be difficult.

I am 14/f and i'm 5'6" I hate being tall so much. I'm going to grow more and i bet I'll end up like really tall. I don't really knwo for sure, but to me most of the pretty people are short. i am so self concious about it!! I wish i could be 5'4" and stay that way for ever. I think about it every day and it makes me really sad. How can i get over this. i'll rate high (link)
|
I completely understand where you are coming from. When I was younger I was always the tallest and I hated it. In class pictures I was always up on the top row while my friends were down below. And when I was your age my date/boyfriend was so much shorter than me it was ridiculous. I hated it. My solution was to never wear heals. I wore all flats for many years. But eventually the boys your age will grow and they will be taller than you (I am now dating a guy that is 6'3'' and much like you I am 5'6'') Plus, some of your friends will grow and will be the same height as you. Or even taller. When you are young there is always something for you to dislike about yourself. And right now it may seem impossible. But I promise there will come a time when you are comfterable in your own skin. For now, try not to focus so much on it, I know that is much easier said than done. But focus on other things if you can. And hang in there. It will get better.

hey, one of my friends is graduating from highschool soon and i want to make her a good cd with songs like vitamin c - graduation song and stuff like that. so if you have any ideas it would be greatly appreciated
thanks! (link)

I'm not sure the exact name, but there was a song a few years back about wearing sunscreen. It was a poem that a man then turned into a song. It's full of advice for some one graduating.

Does anyone know a really good song for a wedding song from the bride to a father figure??
Thanks (link)
|
Landslide by Stevie Nicks. The song is about she built her life around her father but now she is growing up and getting older, and changing. But how they can still be close. It's a really good song.
