15f. I met a guy at a party who I liked at the time and wanted to hook up with, and I didn't tell him, but he told me he doesn't hook up with girls because he doesn't want his parents to find out. Now he calls me every so often and we have long conversations, and he tells me that asking this one girl out was the biggest mistake of his life. He and I flirted a lot at the party, which was about two and a half months ago, and grinded. Do you think he might like me? What should I do about it? I kind of still like him. ohk one. DONT GO FOR THE LOOKS. if you have feelings. try it out. its not like you have to get maried to him. if it doesnt work out then thats ohk. if you feel something for this guy go for it. make the first move. show him you are interested. who knows you might have a blast together. but dont worry about what other people think. if he means something to you then worrying about what he looks like is going to be lower on your list of things you like. Okay, this is long so be prepared. Let's call this guy Fred. He's in 11th grade and I'm in 9th. Obviously, I really like him. Heh so we met like at the second month of this school year? I really don't know how because I didn't know him and vice versa...but like one day out of random he hugged me at lunch saying "She's a cutie." to a friend that we both know. And after that, I was walking to lunch with my bff and the friend that we both know and Fred were like "Come stand in line with us." and I was like why? And his friend and Fred were like "Because you're pretty/beautiful." And my bff was like "He likkeeess you." btw, my bff is a guy that's gay. Anywhos, then after that he puts his arms around me [not possessivly but rather like cute-ly?] haha. Twice he almost got in trouble for it. Also, during one of the [strings] concerts, he was backstage waving at me frantically =P He also calls me a nickname he made me, cute, pretty, and beautiful a lot. He also gives me bear hugs and always gets up to stand with me when I go over to his lunch table. Last time he was like "You're tall for a girl." and I was like "Hmmm, I'm still shorter than most people." and he goes "I'm still short" [yet, he's still taller than me XD] I go "You're not short. You're taller than me." and then he goes "Well, I like tall girls. Do you like tall guys?" and I was like "Why not?" Haha anyways, do you think he likes me, or what? Tell me the truth. well my dear. im a freshmen and i have come to find juniors are totaly douchebags. im not saying they are all the same. only the ones at my school. watch wicth ones you are attracted to. they can ruin your high school career untill they leave. trust me. but hey why not. go for it. i think he does. its not till death do you part. I'm 14/f and I'm a tomboyish girl. I mean I still wear girlyish clothes and shop and gossip and what not but I'm not the ones that are prude or wear pounds of make up or something.
I just get along with guys a lot more easily and I feel more comfortable aroudn them than girls because, well girls criticize and judge so much and ohhhmy the drama. I am also "perverted" not really. But when guys joke about the pen 15 club or LAO or stupid stuff like that or talking about someones doing someone or say stuff like go suck him or something like, I don't really care and I just laugh at it and join in with moronic comments like theirs. One guy and I have this little code for LAO, LOL, WTF, and YO with our hands and we just look at each other and do it out of random when we get bored in class. Hehe, but yeah, do guys think that girls like myself are weird or not or what? Do they feel comfortable around girls like me because it'd suck if they didnt...but tell me the brutal truth (link)

in my personal opinion, there is that one guy/a million guys that love that they can act like a guy around a girl and feel comfortable around the girl.

Okay, so I have a large number of friends in 10th grade and I'm in 9th. I'm good friends with a guy named "C" and he's gay and in 10th grade. He has a bestest of best friends named "A". It seems like "A" doesn't like me much and she always seems to try and make me feel inferior most of the time.
But anywhos, should I just ignore "A"? And also, the school year is getting pretty crazy and "c" and I haven't had much chance to talk outside of school and at lunch, we're both not very interested in what each other's rambling about. I really want to be good friends with him but I don't know what I can say or talk about to keep our friendship awesome...any suggestions? (link)

Seriously, ignore A' look at her and say man im pretty, i love my life. little boosters of confidence even if you hate our life. A' will see you glowing and notice you dont give a hoot about what she is saying or doing. and relize your awesome [which everyone is!] i know it sounds like something your mom would say but most girls are mean and all that candy becuase they are jealous. i kno i do it for that reason. give A' something to be jealous about!
and give C' someroom. talk everyday but keep it small. and keep C' laughing in the end. i think if you like him enough[as in friend form] yall have to have something that will keep yall sticking together like glue.

I think all moms are the same at one point an another. i went threw this with my mom [she was in her PMS days] i got the whole skank, slut, whore. [which im not/far from it] but i blew it off. laugh at it. learn to laugh at all life throws you. be strong; dont let her see it gets to you[if it is getting to you] she will see she is beeing rude for her age. and grow up like we all do!
[but seriously LAUGH YOUR BUTT OFF, at every thing. if you feeling like crying laugh, if you feel mad laugh, look in the mirror and laugh. it lifts your spirts and can get you there anything, any hard time.]

My friend Lisa recently broke up with her boyfriend, Kent. He told her he loved her, etc, and she believed him. Sounds cliche, but with a twist: they didn't sleep together. She still crys most of the time when we mention him. I've known him longer than I've known her. She was telling me that he made her feel inferior (he didn't try, he's just so perfect) and I told her that I never asked him out because I felt he was too good for me. She suggested I ask him to the next girl's choice dance and offered to be in my group and fix my hair. Does this sound like a trap to anyone? (link)

For the most part' yes. but hey if it is and things start to get hott and heavey between you and kent; and your friend gets mad, simply state that she said you could [make it nice not snooty] and go for the whole he makes me really happy. youll meet a guy right for you soon..

hey well i need some major help...
im think im kinda fat and i wanna lose weight like 20 pounds!as fast as possible but i dont know how! i tried eating less and i walk to school everyday (as a way of excercise) and somtimes i go on bike rides i dont know it seems like im not losing weight does anyone else have some simple or easy way on how to lose weight at all???

im in the same situation you are bud. what you have to do as a way to make sure you arent taking in extra fatty foods .. just sort of make a list of times you are going to eat and what you are going to eat at those times. [this helped me out majorly] keep the portions small. and if you can try to start jogging. truthfuly the only way to lose weight in a snap is to take a diet pills. but if you keep to the list you make and really focus you'll see the weight fade like an old memory!!

i would choose the Ipod Video and the Digital Camera.. simply because i had the same delima and thats what i chose and i do not regret not getting the psp.. the other two fit my personality very well.. (in my opinion)

like *james* lives up my street but goes to a different school from me. Over the summer we got so close.I finally told him that i liked him and he said that he felt the same so i was like so should we start going out and he said not right at the moment because he couldnt see us holding hands because we just had a laugh with each other ( this doesnt make sence to me cause he said he likes me) now like 3 months have [passed and we both feel the same way still)
The second guy *darren* he goes to my school and has told my friends that he really likes me and i do like him but i dont no if its for the reasons i should i dont no wether its because i havent got anywhere with *james* but i i go out with *darren* it means i can't be as close to *james* anymore

I would start a relationship with darren but tell him it is nothing serious.. see how it feels to be with another guy other then james.. and just because you start things with darren doesnt mean things between you and james have to change.. it sounds to me that all james want is to have fun.. see how it goes with the other guy you can always say this is working and move on.. but dont wait around for something that might never be....

ohk; its most likely you are not in love. Your feelings for him are just so high and intense becuase you cant have him for sure yet.. this happens to most girls, if and when he decides to tell you that he likes you then your feelings might change. i would not sugest to tell him how you feel. the waitng part is hell;yes.. but if you really do love him you wont find it that hard to wait for him to make his decision... just speed up the prosess a little bit by spending a little bit more time with him.. but dont throw your slef at him.. most guys dont like that.. i dont kno if this is going to help but i hope it does in some way!

you shouldnt worry about it at all if your boyfriend isnt.. if he isnt flirting back and he doesnt show intrest in him then dont mkae it something its not.. but if he is adn he does seem intersted.. go and flirt with some other random guy and see how he feels about it and if he doesnt do anything then you kno he isnt the one.. so why keep it going..

My best friend, Allie, is having family problems and I am wondering how to support her. Her mom has recently started drinking too much, smoking and having a bad attitude. Allie (15) has two younger siblings (aged 12 and 13). Her mother is constantly yelling at Allie, but not the other two children. Allie is expected to run the family.
Allie's parents are divorced. When Allie is at her father's house she is made a slave. She is trated very unfairly (I have been to her father's house and I came home crying because they were so mean to us).
Allie's father a few years ago made her live with him (normally she just goes there on weekends) because her mother was 'too unstable'.
Allie's father lives two hours away and I would miss her a lot if she moved.
How can Allie deal with the situation (constantly being yelled at, disfunctional family, stress, etc) and how can I (as her best friend) support her?
Allie has gotten counselling before but it did not help. I try everyday to keep her happy but it is putting a lot of strain on the both of us.

counsiling doesnt help one single bit.. trust me ive been there. but as for your friend. dont try to make her happy.. just be there for her.. let ehr know that you are willing to listen.. when i was going through somethign similar all i wanted/needed was someone to talk to someone i could trust.. and i didnt have that and i went in the wrong direction but then i foudn someone and things seemed to get alot better.. sometimes all people need is to know that there is someone there that they can lean on.

I have 3 friends, REALLLY good friends, and we all go to the same skool and in the same class. were besties. anyway, those 3 friends live pretty close to each other, and i live a little farther away, so they r always doing things without me (shopping, movies, hanging out ect.) and leaving me out. I know theyre not doing it on purpouse, but it still REALLY hurts becuase they talk about it infront of my face. Ive tried to talk to them about it, but they just get REALLY mad. what should i do? Really you can only do ohk with 1 best friend. 3 is a crowed. {get what im saying} if they leave you out and get mad when you talk to them about it; they are trying to tell you something...go out and look for some new friends.. its ohk to be there friend but maybe it isnt ment to be BEST FRIENDS. go meet new people. think of this as a chance to see what else is out there in the world. things happen for a reson..

i know eaxcatly what you are feeling. i used to be popular. head cheerleader; girls wanted to be me,i was runnning the school in the palm of my hand. then in one day eveyrthing changed. i had to move away for a year and then come back. [hurricane and all] i wasnt doing cheerleading and i had lost most of my friends. i thought it would be hell to sit in the stands at peprallys and not be involed in that matter. but it wasnt i got ued to it and liked it better. as for my friends i got some back and made new ones. im not popualr anymore and i certinly dont run my school the way i had before. but things arent bad and i would say they got a whole lot easier and are alot more fun becuase i dont have to impress anybody anymore. i can accutaly be me.... i would say embresss it. its not bad. and things can only get better!

I am 16/f a sophomore. Both the guys i am gonna talk about are 18/m seniors.
I had been "talking" to the one guy for a good two weeks, long night phone calls, a date, exchanging flirtacious banter, ect. He would even skip his class to come down and eat lunch with me. Then all of a sudden he stopped calling, and he kinda drew away. I waited for about 3 weeks, then i started talking to another guy.
This guy asked me to hang out last night, and it took almost the whole day to decide on a time. My parents had to drop me off and pick me up because he didnt want to drive. When i got to his house, we went to the basement to watch a movie. He layed all over me, and kissed me. But he kept kissin me and put his tongue in my mouth and i was very uncomfortable. but he really is nice and we have fun together. but he is also very flirtacious with everybody and never made anything official.
Well, today the 1st guy called me and asked me to go to the movies. I said yes because me and the other guy arent official and i feel like he is using me for physical stuff. I really liked the 1st guy but i didnt want to wait around my whole life, and now that we are going on a date again...i feel guilty becuase guy #2 made out with me.

what i would do is talk to guy #1 and ask him why he took a "break" from you and see how it goes from there with him... but with guy #2 if you feel uncomfortable with him then maybe you two should just be friends. if you feel uncomfortable in a relationship to begin with things will only get worst. [trust me]
