Hey! I have this friend who is constantly calling me "stupid" and things like that because I never get mad at her for it! What should I do to get her to stop doing this to me and to get her to stop making me look like a complete idiot? Thanks in advance! -Confused Friend-

hey I have a friend just like that. One thing you should NOT do is be mean back. I did that, and it was a big mess. Next time she calls you stupid, just say "I'm not stupid! I am sick of you always calling me names!" or somthing like that. Maybe there is somthing that is making her mad (like problems at home) and she takes out all her anger on you becasue she knows you wont get mad. All she needs is a friend to talk things over with, and you have to let her know that she can talk to you about anything. Hope I helped!

my bf isnt excactly the cutest person in the world but i love him so much. alot of the time some of my friends that i'm not that close to always ask me questions about why im going out with him. and this girls in one of my classes always says how she would only go out with a guy if he was cute. and my bf sits right behind me in that class. he's not like ugly or anything but he's not hot either. i don't know what 2 do about it when pple tell me that i shouldnt go out with him or ask me why i am going out with him. please help........
That happend to me before. i think i can help. All of my friends were pressuring me to dump him, but i really liked him. I broke up with him, and no i wish that i hadnt, b/c i still liked him, and i felt really bad for doing that. Tell your friends that you like him for who he is, not what he looks like on the outside. The really hot onse are usually the biggest jerks. Its up to you, not them. Dont make hte same mistake i did. Hope i helped!

Well you actually know me but i dont want to say my name. I dont know what to do with thid friend i have . We are constantly getting in fights and qwe barely spend anytime 2getha. She is also constantly sayin mean things bout me behind my back! If your friends is being mean to you and talking behind your back, then she is not a real friend. You shouldnt have to ask her if you can be friends with someone, its your decision, not hers! Friends dont treat eachother like that. Ask her why she has been talking bad about you. That you thought you were friends, but real friends dont treat eachother like that. Hope I helped!

My sister has had a pretty tough year, and I think she's finding the festive season a bit overwhelming. She hasn't wanted to get involved with any of the usual things she enjoys this time of year, like decorating the house with lights. I'm nervous that tomorrow on Christmas Day, she'll be really down. How can I cheer her up, given that the normal "festive" things she likes are just depressing her?
Remind her of the good times you had in past christmas's, like "oh remeber last year when..." and be extra nice to her. If you want, you could ask her whats bugging her, but that might just make her mad. Hope i helped sum!

You could rent some movies, play games, paint nails, anythin like that should keep them busy. Maybe they could go play in the snow or sumthing. hope i helped!

Okay my friend and i (he's a guy) are not really talking! Because I have been ignoring him, and supposedly he isn't mad at me! I found out he is sick today and lives right up the street from me! I was wondering should i go up the street to give him some chickensoup or pasta? Or should I even go up there to see him?! Would it be too random?!
You could make or buy a get-well card and tell his mom to give it to him or something. You shouldnt ignore him, so in the card also say sry 4 that. ok well i hope i helped!

Ok so I need some opinions on this really LONG love question... It has 2 parts... This first part is that I need to pick between two guys.
Guy #1- We're going out, he's really sweet and nice and i like him, sometimes. My friends all like him because he doesn't want to hurt me and he has never made me cut myself (yeah- i cut) We've only known eachother for about a month, and the only reason I know him is because I was jealous of my friend, who was going out with the guy I liked at the time. Him and I are very much the same, and are very shy around eachother. I barely see him in school, but he really likes me.
Guy #2- I'm secretly in love with him. He's kind of a jerk, and he acts nice to you and then will say something horribly offencive to you in the same sentance. He's absolutly gorgeous, and more popular then me. He lead me on beofre, and my friends blame him for making me cut once. They all think he's a jerk, but I really like him.
Who should I pick?
The second part is that today, I am supposed to call #2. Atleast he wants me to, or so he told me last night. I am very intrigued, and I think I may call him. My best friend, the only other person who knows about this, says that I should call #1 and break it off with him before I call #2. But I don't know if I should becuse, #2 might hate me, and i don't want to be single right now, and have to explain to my friends why I broke it off with #1. So what should I do?
Definatly #1!! he sounds like alot better person, and you sed you two have alot in common. That will make it easlier to start conversations. And he doesnt make you cut?!? y do u cut yourself?!? youshouldnt hurt yourseld because you hae some problems, it ok, everyone run into problems. Last night my best friends parents got into a car accident. Her dad had to spend the night in the hospital because he broke his ribs and lost a lot of blood. Her mom is doin ok, she has internal bruises but is taking everything well. The doctors thought that her dad was going to die, but he made it through the night. Ive never been in this sort of situation before. I dont know what to say or what to do. Please help, i really need to be there for my friend!!!!!!!
Im glad that they are doing ok! Make sure that ur friend knows that you are always there for her when she needs a shoulder to cry on. And that you are constantly praying for them. Take her places, like the mall or somthing to try to get her mind off of it or awhile. Hope i helped!

i have been best friends with Alex for 4 years. This year, i found out that he likes me. And i like him. He has attempted to ask me out but i am always busy with something else. I feel very bad because he doesnt understand how much i really care about him. He is also known as the school hottie and he flirts with all the girls at out school. I dont want to go out with someone who flirts with everyone right in front of me; what do i do??
If you really are seriouse and want to go out with him, then tell him that you do want to, but your not sure if you should since he is always flirting with outher girls. He can have friends that ar girls, but if he flirts with them then he is not worth it. Hope i helped!

Okay this may sound really dumb or something but it really needs to be answerd cause i really need the help.My friend had wanted to kill herself and then her mom had put her into a center to get the help that she needs(good for her!!).But the problem is that she is on drugs and she drinks a lot and she is only 12 or 13 years old.Well i tries to kill myself a few weeks ago and now i'm fine but my question is that should i be her friend still and hang out with her even though that she wanted to do something that i tried?Cause my fear is that she will want me to think of doing that again?Plzz help.

first off, no one hould tr to kil themself. No matter how hard ur life gets, it will eventually get better, and nothing is worth killing youself. Its good that your friends is getting help, but there is one thing that would help alot. a friend. She needs you the most now. Tell her that its all gonna turn out ok and that u really want to stay friends, so dont try to do that ever again. no problem is worth that. i hope that i helped!

Well, tomorrow afternoon we get out of school at 10:30 a.m. because of exams...me and my friends were going to walk to an ice-cream shop and eat. The thing is, we have invited guys to go with us. I dont want to look like a complete slob when we go. Do you have any adivce on how to dress and do makeup? Its supposed to be around 56 degrees tomorrow, so I want to look cute, but still stay warm. You could wear just jeans with a cute sweater and matching scarf. For the make-up, dont go overboard, you want them to see your pretty eyes not all the make-up. hope i helped!

Get a ceramic straightener ((they start at about $20)) and in the moring just straighten out the ends, then put some bio silk or somthing like that to make it look soft and shiney. hope i helped!

I'm wearing a sweater and wasn't sure how to do my hair. It's a big, off the shoulder sweater from American Eagle. I'm just wearing it with jeans. I've have pretty long hair, down to the middle of my back. What can I do?
You could put the top half up and leave the bottom half down. I do that all the time, it works when its just casual or when you are gettin all dressed up. hope i helped!

ok, i've like this guy for a LONG time, 3 years. We've become better friends over the past 3 years since i liked him and i don't know if he likes me. Definatly stick to it. if u have liked him 4 that long then go for it! you said dont want to tell him how you feel, but you never know, he might like you to. Just have a trusted friend go ask him if he like you. If he says yes, then have them say that u like him to, and maybe you could hook up sometime. If you are really that afraid, then try suggesting somwhere else, away from the ocean. If he asks you why, then just tell him the truth. Tell him that you have had a bad experience at the beach, or whatever it was. If he laughs at you and/or makes fun of you, then he is NOT WORTH IT! Hope i could help!
