hey girl i noticed you answered some1's sex question so i thought i'd ask you.. please help me.. but okay.. so this morning my boyfriend and i were having sex. i'm not on birth control but we always use protection and as he's about to go he always pulls out. today after we had sex we checked the condom to make sure there were no holes by filling it up with water. I'm sure you're fine. If you become paranoid of becoming pregnant (which us girls seem to do a lot) then you will develop the symptoms of actually being pregnant which will ultimately freak you out even more. Guys know if they 'pull out' in time, so I'd trust your mans instinct. I advise you get on the pill though, If it's the parents that are stopping you, there are a million ways of getting around it. For example; if you want to tell your mom your getting on the pill so she can help you pay for it - you don't have to tell her it's for sex. Here are many other reasons girls get on the pill besides sex: painful cramps, regulating periods, acne, back pains, and even depression. If you feel you can't tell your parents, research planned parenthood and I believe you can get it for free without your parents finding out. Anyway back on topic, for the most part I think you should be fine. Like I said, if you freak yourself out - your body will think you're pregnant. Not only that but there are only certain days out of the month where a girl can get pregnant and those are the days she is ovulating. Google 'ovulation calculator' to find out which days you are the most fertile, and you'll know that those are the days you need to be the most careful. However if you are late, I advise you to take a test about a week after your missed period. I'm sure you're fine. Good Luck!

Some girls get Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) which can be caused from not taking the pill after being on it for so long which results in depression. If I were you I would get back on it immediately and your mood should go back to normal. If you think you're pregnant, I'd take a test to be sure. Good Luck!

Hey guys.
So, I get chronic urinary tract (bladder) infections. Almost once a month like clockwork. Anyways, I find them to be relatively manageable. I've been to doctors and been on the antibiotics but I got tired of renewing my prescription so much, and it's just easier and cheaper to clear it up myself with tons of water and cranberry juice.
So anyways, recenty I got one, and for the last 4 days it was pretty bad. Then, I woke up this morning and it finally felt cleared up. But somehow still weird down there, like a bit tingly. Throughout the day the tingling progressed to full-out itching, and now it's really bad. It's around my urethra but scratching seems to only exaserbate the problem.
I plan on going to the doctor because this has never happened to me before, but the clinic isn't open until Monday. If anyone has experienced this before, could you offer some insight into what this might be, and if there are any home remedies? This is very important because I have to work tommorow, and it's in a very public environment. I can't be constantly itching myself. It sounds to me like you have a yeast infection. Go to any local drug or grocerie store as soon as you can and under the tampon isle there is a product called monistat. Take either the 3-day or 1-day treatment as soon as possible. It's like a little egg that you insert into the vagina and it liquifies and the lotions and creams inside clean out the bacteria. It also somes with some itch relief cream inside the container. Its anywhere from 9$-25$. Don't get the generic version, get name brand. You will need to wear a pad for a few days because it leaks out as it is cleansing. As far as your bladder infections go - It isn't normal for them to keep reacurring like that and if your doctor isn't doing anything about it then you need to switch doctors. Reacurring bladder infections could be from many things that could lead to more serious issues such as kidney problems, or not cleansing properly. Most guys prefer a clean cut, but it's all up to them and their preferences. I reccommend buying a brand new razor to avoid any razor burn and it should clean it up very nice. It's actually easier to maintain without a "fro down low". Not only that but you're at less risk for getting crabs aka lice if you mess around with the wrong person. Good Luck!

I'm stressing out and have been google-ing everything remotely related to birth control pills and pregnancy. Please help put my mind at ease! Here's my story: I'm 17 years old and have been on yaz birth control for 5 months. At the beginning of my last pack, I forgot to run to the pharmacy to pick it up. So I didn't start my pack until the next day. 2 weeks later I missed a pill and took it as soon as I remembered the next day. Then I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend.. But he pulled out .. The brown discharge could possibly be from a yeast infection, however I could be wrong. There are only a certain time period out of the month when a woman is fertile - meaning you can't get pregnant on just any day of the week. There's a website that calculates the exact days you are fertile: www.babycenter.com/ovulation-calculator. If you have been on BC for 5 months, I highly doubt you are able to produce proper hormones as birth control puts fake hormones in your body and it usually takes about 3 months to gain back the real hormones once you stop BC. Honestly, I wouldn't be too worried. I know every girl gets scared almost every month when sexually active - but if you truely believe you're pregnant and you're not you can actually develop symptoms of pregnancy which could also be why you're having brown discharge. Have you ever heard the phrase, "it's not the size, it's how you use it"? Well it's true. However him lacking confidence is also a main factor. Try boosting his self-esteem with new sex positions that you brought on. You can be in control and your boyfriend will think it's sexy. I'm not sure which positions you do now but there's always:

There is a chance you could be pregnant. However you would not get symptoms until about 6 weeks later. Try taking a pregnancy test 5 days after your missed period and it should give you an acurate answer. Also, you can only get pregnant on certain days of the month. The days you ovulate are the days you can get pregnant and there are ovulation calculators to figure out which days those are. If you are having unprotected sex, may I reccommend birth control?

For the last few months, I've had this ricidulous urge to become pregnant (I'm only 16). At first I thought it was a phase but lately all I think about is how wonderful it would be to have a child. I understand how insane this is; I don't have a job, I haven't even finished high school yet and I'm certainly not ready for a baby.
I started birth control 3 months ago and take it religiously but one night I had sex with my boyfriend and for some reason he was freaked out that I would get pregnant. All I could think about was how happy I would be if I was.
I've also had a few dreams about being pregnant and having miscarriages (over the past 6 months-not consistently)
This doesn't seem normal to me and I want these thoughts to stop. I would never do anything intentional to get pregnant so thats not the issue, trying to find a way to stop this crazy idea is what's bothering me. I don't want to be pregnant because of Jamie Lynn Spears or because I'm trying keep my boyfriend around (we have a healthy relationship). Yes, it is just a phase. Not all girls go through it but some do. Once you start getting a little older and you start to see you friends with babies, you'll realize how much you want to wait until after college. I'm not saying babies aren't wonderful because they are but once you have a child you lose 100% of your freedom. You are entitled to dedicate your entire life to this baby. Not only that but if you're only 16 with no job - do you really want this baby to grow up with not having much in it's life? Don't you want to be able to buy he or she whatever you can? Spoil them? Love them? How would you supply food, diapers, clothing. Babies are not cheap. (about a $1000 a month) There's no rush in life so please, enjoy your teen years while you still can because it goes by so fast. I remember my 16th birthday like it was yesterday - and now I'm about to turn 20. Life goes by fast, don't take these years for granted. Good Luck!

Having your menstral cycle every 26 days sounds very normal. There shouldn't be any problem in becomming pregnant but if you are trying, I would talk to your doctor who can run tests and tell you the days you ovulate. When your boyfriend ejaculates, slow down your hand motion immediately as it can hurt if you keep going. Ease off and just let it...'cum'. Your boyfriend should be the one cleaning it up, but basically it will most likely end up on his legs, and your hands. Honestly he might just be keeping you around without the lable of 'relationship' for security reasons because he may have low self-esteem. There's always a chance of getting pregnant with unprotected sex. It takes a sperm and an egg to form a baby inside the uterus. You cannot make a baby with just one. However even though he didn't ejaculate (cum), there's such thing as pre-cum which contains sperm and that can get you pregnant. Also, yes guys do know when they are ejaculating. I don't mean harm in anyway and I dont want to offend you so please don't take this personally - but if you don't know any of this, don't you think you're a bit too young to be having sex? This sounds like obsessive behavior which is not normal for a relationship. It sounds like your boyfriend needs to seek some therapy. He's become 100% dependant on you and you two have only been together for a few months. That's just not right. First of all, I know you love him but you cannot have your boyfriend relying on you for everything in life. He needs to have his own independency. You need to realize that he is basically threatning you. 'If you leave me, I'll kill myself' sorta thing. This is not healthy and will lead to something horrible. Every information about you that your doctor knows is strictly confidential. However your OBGYN can infact tell if your 'cherry has been popped' weather it be from fingers, tapons, or a penis. There isn't a specific technique for being on top, but typically you put your hands on the bed near the top of his shoulders to hold yourself up. Then once you have a good balance try to move only your pelvic/butt area up and down. Also try sitting straight up. Put your hands on his chest or have him hold your hands to hold you up and move up and down (guys really like that). Another great one is to let him do the work with you on top. Again, hold yourself up by putting your hands above the top of his shoulders on the bed and let him go at it. It feels really good for both. Good Luck!

Im female 17 and my mom is very very overprotective...I dont go out at all. Only to school, saturday mass with my family, and school related things which arent many. my mom doesnt like me to go out, doesnt let me go out with friends, she even scares my friends away by calling them and insulting them. Your mom sounds like she has a lot of things built up emotionally deep down inside her and she's taking it out on you. Perhaps she is also feeling quite lonely which is why she wants you around all the time. Always remember - there are two sides to every story and your mom's story is probablly stuck inside her itching to get out. Try sitting down with her and talking to her about herself. Ask her if she's alright and let her know you care about her. Even if she doesn't want to open up to you, she'll see that her daughter is caring about her on the inside and that alone will mean a lot to her.
Finally, tell her your feelings. Telling her that she's trapping you and keeping you from your youth is killing you inside. Let her know you've become depressed and her being so controlling is making you not want to live your life anymore. I know your mom cares about you and is trying to have nothing but good intentions for you - sometimes loves is just shown in a more harsher way. You won't have to live like this for forever and someday you'll be on your own but for now it's something you're going to have to cope with. You can get through it - I went through the same thing and now that I live on my own, my Mom and I are best friends and I look back and realized she just wasn't happy with herself and I was her best target. Everything will be alright - live your life and eventually things will start getting better.
