I have been best friends with lisa ever since third grade. We were inseperable until this year (freshamn H.S). She got her first boyfriend in the beginning on the year and its been downhill from there. ahhg. She's now very arrogant and acting as if she's SO "experienced" and can get any guy that walks in her path which is untrue. She will not sit next to me in after school activities or social places like in the lunch room, but she'll sit with her friend natalie who is friends with the crowd her boyfriend is in. It's really hurtful that she is now a totally different person wanting to dress differently, acts like a cocky witch, shoves her new "friendships" in my face, acts like i don't exist if i'm around her in social situations, and expects me to be there for her through and through. She makes me feel like CRAP plain and simple. I have other friends, but is it worth it to keep with one?

well since she has changed so much, you should ask yourself if you even do want her back as a bestfriend? I know its hard right now, but just say your friend does break up with her boyfriend (i'm not saying anytime soon, but its possibly) she'll prob. be running back to you. and its up to you to be there for her or not. Its hard when friends find other people to take your place, and it does plain and simple suck. But just don't treat her how shes treating you b/c that'll just make things even worst. I would say just to talk to her about that, but in some siuttuations thats not the best idea b/c your friend MAY take it in the wrong way and get all mad at you. Just try to forget about her other friends and just try to focus on your relationship. Also try to find other friends, if shes found others then so can you.

Hi! I'm sorry if this is kinda long, but please help!
Alright, to start off, my best friend is in major LOVE with the band Relient K. I thought for her birthday it would be intresting to get her tickets to go see them. There are 1 parent going, and 3 other girls, me and her. Tomarrow the 3 other girls are comming over. We are going to figure out a way to present them to her at her party [ since most of the people at her party either wern't a part of it or wern't allowed to go. How should we approach this? Creative ideas wanted!!!
Take a really big box, and wrap that and when she opens that have another box wrapped, and then when she opens that have another smaller box in that, and so on. Have how many boxes you want, but just start off with a pretty big one, and end with a little box with the tickets in it :)

Ok..the past month i have not hung out with any of my friends. I used to hang out with them every weekend. Like we would have bonfires..go out to eat..go to the movies. But now all of my friends have serious boyfriends. Im talking to a guy but i dont want anything serious with him. I want to hang out with my friends again. Any advice on this?
Maybe you can have a girls night out.
tell your friends to turn OFF the phones etc.
and maybe go to a movie, go bowling, ice skating, skating, shopping, out to eat. w/e you like to do :)

I've had too many friends that have stabbed me in the back. I have done nothing but be there for them. Yes they've been there for me, but I realized I can't do it anymore. My last friend I ended up losing her because I finally told her how I felt about her. At least I was honest to her face. But now she thinks because she's pregnant she's better than everyone. It makes me feel bad because I told her how I felt, but it also makes me feel good because I was finally able to stand up to her and make her realize that I ain't gonna take it anymore. If anyone has any advice PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
yeah it seems like we all have that problem...even best of best friends will end up stabing you in the back, when you've NEVER done anything to them. But I would say just try to talk to them, and be like i didn't mean it to ruin our friendship, it was just something i had to get off my back. You have to forget about a lot of things in life, nothing is perfect. But everyone is differnt, and everyone isn't going to feel the same way about some things.

mmk, well I knew this kid, who was like my bestestestest friend ever. like, i asked him for help with everythinggg. & he always looked out for me. & then eventually, we dated. for a couple months. then, he broke up with me, but a couple months later, we were best friends again. & it was like we were dating. but we never made it offical. considering, i just had gotten out of a bad relationship at that time, + i wasn't 100 percent sure if i liked him & only him completely.
that all happened in 6th grade. [ i met him in like 4th grade, & we became like best friends at the beginning of 5th grade.]
so anyways, 7th grade rolled around, me & him were still the best of friends. & i was like wow, yano we've been friends so long, most girls i know dont stay that good of friends with guys for so long. so then, at the end of 7th grade, in the summer, well, i have a sliding glasss door in my room, which leads out to my deck, & like, its confusing.. my house is like on a hill, but anyways, its really easy for boys to sneak up there.. & stuff. so i had alot of visiters during that summer, most of the boys that i didn't really care too much about. but then, my best friend [the boy] was like omg your so hot. & i'd so wanna do you. & i was also talking to my old best friend at the time [well she was still my best friend then] & i was like hes tottaly kidding right? & shes like oh yeah deffinitly. so i kinda played along with what he was saying. but then he got all weird. like he was like, do you love me? tell me you love me. & i was like wtf is he high. & he just kept saying stuff like that. so then, he was like ok im comin over. & im like.. its kinda late bud? & he was all like it would be fun. & i was like whoa nooo. & he kept insisting. & like, it wasnt like him, for awhile i didnt even think it was him. so hes like, hayley you said you loved me. & all this stuff like that. & i was like, idno i was starting to get mad. so hes like..whatever i'm coming over."
so he came over alright. & i was like, well you should've known before you walked here, i wasnt going to do that. i'm only 13. i'm not a slut. & all this stuff. eventually, i told him to go home. he ended up being really mad at me. we talked for a couple months longer, & then, that ended that. he like tottaly just stopped talking to me, completely.
& i was like so upset. because i then felt like so wrong & guilty. i mean, i didnt know he was being serious. i never thought, that he actually would have came. i never knew i dont know. so then now, i go to his school. hes in like 5 of my classes. & my lunch period. so i see him alotttt. & he looks at me alot. like alot. but he hasnt talked to me yet, & i've been there for like 2 months. & so, also, some of the kids he hangs out with, like hate me. & stuff. &thats not fair, because he basically twisted the story. saying i liked him & everything.
so, now its basically screwing things up there too. like there like, oh wait.. your that girl?
so, i don't know what to do. am i suppose to go up to him apologize? or should i just forget it?
& its like so confusing. because people though keep walking up to me. & theyll be like, wait you dated him? yeah, he always talks about you, in a good way. so like i don't know. i feel weird going up to him & just being like hey.
what should i do? i cant just forget about him. & i'm always feeling so guilty. how do i make it better? & show him that it wasn't my fault, that i didnt know.

Pretty much boys are gay :) haah no jk, but umm well i kinda have the same problem b/c this one boy that said he likes me, we only talk on aol, and when we see eachother at school we just ignore eachother...and idk its just weird. but i would say don't forget about him, and i know its hard but just be like hey...and kinda small talk with him for a while to try to build that FRIEND relationship up again. You guys were friend for soo long so don't ruin that relationship. But just try to talk to him. but don't apologize b/c you didn't do anything wrong, he should be the one that says sorry. ok well me and this girl used to be really good friends!! the last year in 7th gr ( im in 8th now and 14) she spread a rumor about me and started stuff between me and alot of my friends! so i decided not to hang with her anymore!!! we've had a lot of fights after that too and we've been very close to fighting 4 real!!!! but now i kind of over it and at a party the other night she invited me to a barbque of hers next month! I donbt know if i should forgive her or what to do ??!?!?!?!!! please HELP!!!!
well as you mature you realize who real friends are, and how stupid fights not really mean anything anymore. Go to her party and have fun. Maybe even talk to her and tell her that your over all that shit, and you want her back as a friend. I fight a lot with my one friend, but were bestfriends, and those fights just bring us closer and closer each time :)

Well i don't want to sound stupid. but just be yourself. If you want to be more outgoing then try to be a little more outgoing. I'm kinda shy myself and at times i get really tensed up, but then also i can get pretty outgoing. Just be yourself and don't try to be anyone your not. Just live a little and have fun :) (and everyone has some personality so don't worry about it :))

I was talking to my friends like an hour or more earlier and they were at one friends' house hanging out. Since they were going to leave his house soon, they told me they were going to another friend (he lives like 2 minutes walk away from me)to watch a movie and that they'd call me when they get there so i can go over. They told me they'd call me in 10 minutes but they didnt, so i called them like 5 minutes ago and they were like "oh yeah, we're watching the movie right now". They didnt even invite me or remember that they were suppose to call me or anything. Needless to say, Im annoyed and slightly hurt. I don't know if i have a right to be. There's like five of them and not one of them bothered calling me or asking me if i was coming over. My friend was like "Yeah we're watching the movie.. why are you calling us?" I didnt feel like explaining that I thought i was invited... apparently i wasn't? I dont know. So now I'm quite upset.. my question is do I have a right to be? Or am I just overreacting?

So one day we were talking on yahoo and she said she was gonna call me again (We had talked on the phone the past four days in a row.)
