Bday Present!

Question Posted Wednesday April 4 2007, 9:08 pm

Hi! I'm sorry if this is kinda long, but please help!

Alright, to start off, my best friend is in major LOVE with the band Relient K. I thought for her birthday it would be intresting to get her tickets to go see them. There are 1 parent going, and 3 other girls, me and her. Tomarrow the 3 other girls are comming over. We are going to figure out a way to present them to her at her party [ since most of the people at her party either wern't a part of it or wern't allowed to go. How should we approach this? Creative ideas wanted!!!

wrapp the tickets in side a bunch of things, like a bunch of boxes, with maybe some bracelets inside it 2 or something like that. have fun and be creative!

Put the tickets somewhere not easily found. Start off by giving her a clue in a birthday card that leads to another clue that would lead to another clue and so on.

For example, hide the tickets in the glove compartment in one of her parent's car. Give her a card that says, "your present is in your room under something [insert the color of whatever the next clue is hiding under]". Then on the clue hidden in her room, put another clue leading somewhere else.

Don't hesitate for me to clarify. :)

I've always been a big fan of wrapping small things in big boxes. Put some towels or magazines in the box for weight.

Take a really big box, and wrap that and when she opens that have another box wrapped, and then when she opens that have another smaller box in that, and so on. Have how many boxes you want, but just start off with a pretty big one, and end with a little box with the tickets in it :)

I think your birthday present is amazing, and I would love it if some of my friends did that for me. But I live in the poor part of the suburbs, and I wouldn't be able to afford so many tickets.

Anyways, you could hide in the presents. Or just wait until everyone leaves & then give them to her so the people who can't go don't feel left out or upset about it.

Make a big like problem, a fake one. Like one of you should pretend to fall infront of her and pretend to fake cry and be in total pain. Make her think you broke your leg. Have one of your friends be behind you with an empty water bottle when you do this so they can crunch the bottle to make it sound like a grows broken bone. Then have your friend who you want to surprise check out your leg. Put the tickets in a small envelope and have the envelope sticking out of the top of your sock and in big bold letters write HAPPY BIRTHDAY _______. It should be pretty obviouse, she'll take it, open it and scream. haha

have a good one.
