Heyy i need advice im 13 and i want to be pretty. All my friends are Beatiful and then theres me. I have Red hair and sky blue eyes,i have a very round face and im not skinny but not fat. Im 5'4. I dont know what is nice to wear im not the preepy type and not the tomboy type I need help. Im very pale all my friends are very tan, they say i look like a ghost, how can i fix that? Cause i dont want to be a person who tans everyday.I need tips. I wear make-up but im usally called fake how could i be more...natural? i want to look pretty, and aprochable...help please! (link)
|
First off, your pale skin, if you want it tan, you can buy a tanning lotion/spf (usually around4-10 spf) at Sally's, it will protect you from burning but still help you tan.
Don't cake on the make up, do a bit of mascara, light brown or gold eyeshadow, don't over do it, do a thin coat, do a thin line of eyeliner on the top lid(none on the bottom)
As for your hair you could always straighten it, or even curl it and leave it down. Disregard what your friends say, dress and look however you want, whatever makes you feel beautiful.

s it weird that i just want to wear regular panties? all of my friends wear thongs like all the time now and they keep telling me i should to...but thongs look really uncomfortable i dont want anything stuck up my but im totally comfortable wearing my normal bikini panties...shud i try wearing thongs? (link)
|
That is not weird at all. When I was first entered highschool I had a hard time easing into that kind of stuff. Thongs and bikini are both very comfortable however in my opinion. I suggest maybe buying a pair and wearing them for a day to see if you like them.
If you don't you should feel no pressure.

they say not to shave your public hair, but to wax it. i trimmed it and then shaved it and it came back, fast, thick and darker. its everywhere! but waxing would hurt and what is waxing down there? the top is easy, but what about shaving/waxing the hair next to the vagina or like practically on it? i hate hair down there! (link)
|
Waxing. trimming, and shaving are all valid ways.
I used to wax but I found it painful and expensive. Shaving is cheaper, easier, and if you do it right painless. I find if you let it grow for about a week then shave it is easier to grow. Shaving anything, including leg hair, arm pit hair, or facial hair, makes it grow back thicker. I suggest doing this while you shower. I found that if you use something that you can lather, such as shampoo or a special shaving substance it makes it sooo much easier and smoother.

I've dyed my hair a few times in the past, but I've rarely bleached it. Colour seems to show up very well despite my dark hair. Now I really want to dye it red but I'm worried about bleaching it again. Should I? (link)
|
If you are going to bleach it and do it red either go to the professional or do this, deep condition your hair a few times a week before you decide to do it, after you bleach it, go to a beauty store and get a toner that removes all the brassy tones from your hair, after, give your hair a break for a week or two, then dye it red, keep deep conditioning your hair and make sure to put in a leave in conditioner, after you bleach your hair you might also want to give it a trim to get rid of any damaged ends it may have caused.

So I stretched my ears with a stainless steel nail. It was 2" and 25mm. I think that was length though.. but idk. Can someone tell me what gauge that is? It is pretty thick for me and hurt like a b**** to put in..plus it was hard trying to do it without my mom seeing me cuz she dosent approve of me doing it. So how can I actually get real gauge earrings without her knowing so I can actually have earrings?? (link)

Hey there! I have one inch lobes!
Sticking a nail in your ears was realllllly not smart, especially if your ear hurts, you probably had a blow out, and depending on the nail I'd say it was a 6 or an 8, not smart. you can usually find a store in your area that sells tapers and plugs for about 5 dollars a pair. My advice, take the nail out of your ear NOW! You are going to cause damage to your ear lobe that will create scar tissue which will make it incapable of stretching them any bigger. My parents disagree with me having stretched lobes at first even at a small 2, you need to realize a few things, yes it is a trend and a pretty cool one, but once you get to a certain size you cannot go back and you will have to live with it or spend money to have your ear lobe cut. If you are absolutely sure, tell your parents you will go to a small size such as an 8 or 10, if they approve go to that size, they usually be okay with you going bigger after that, I got my parents to agree to a 0 and now I am an inch. Just remember to take that nail out of your ear, put your earrings back in and soak your earlobe in sea salt until it heals, after that ask your parents for approval, and if they say yes go buy a proper pair.

Im 13 and i want to dye my hair black and hot pink. But my parents say im not old enough. I think its soooooooooooo unfair. What do you think? (link)
|
Don't dye your hair black, it's hard to get out and you will regret it, go for a dark brown, tell your parents that part of growing up is trying to express and individualize yourself, don't argue with them if they say no, that'll make you look immature, instead wait a few days then try again, my mom used to not let me dye my hair, I proved to her I was mature and she let me dye my hair, now I can have it however I please. But those are my parents, not your's.

How exactly do you style arm warmers?
I want to get a pair because they look so cute and comfortable. But I don't know how to wear them. (Over shit, under shirt, what type of shirt to wear with them)
I've never actually seen them ON somebody before. Just nude mannequins.
These are what I mean; http://www.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6E.aspx?GrpTyp=ENS&ItemID=1cbc821&DeptID=73375&CatID=81120&SO=0&Ne=5+8+1007+1031+3+904+949&x5view=1&NOffset=0&N=4294934733&Nao=63&PSO=0&bcCat=3&CmCatId=73375|81120 (link)

wear it with a tight long sleeved shirt with a cute cut, and maybe even mix it up with a cute t-shirt if you are a bit daring.

F/16 hi i'm scene but i can't ever really get the scene hair right...I need some tips and maybe some pictures and links too i have short wavy hair it's a bit above my shoulders... (link)
|
Hey there! If you look at my profile you can see I kind of have scene hair, well I have short shoulder length hair,a good way to do this is find a picture online and go to a stylist, if you don't have the cash yo can easily cut it yourself, but be VERY careful, I found a good way to get the bangs it to take your hair and comb it forward. But to get the choppy layers, section your hair off into about 5-10 layers making the bottom layer the thickest, and the top layers the thinnest, it is hard to achieve scene looking hair without it being long, but take a clean razor for shaving and take the layers and us the razor to cut the layers at the top short, make sure these layers are very thin, becase thick will make your hair look odd shaped, it should turn out great if you do it right (: I cut all my friends hair this way and they all love it.

So, I dyed the TIPS of my hair purple, and I used the bleach first, and when the bleach was done, it was an awful auburnish color,so then I put the purple in and it came out okay in the end, not exactly what i wanted. I only let it stay in for the minimum time period because I only want it for a few weeks of summer. My question is, will it wash out by itself and the bleach and purple both fade back to my natural hair color? or will it fade to the bleached color and will I have to dye my hair to my natural color again? I dont want to get a haircut because I'd be cutting a lot off. Please Help! :) (link)
|
I bleach my hair and dye it crazy colors all the time. In fact is it purple right now, when your color fades it will leave a slight purple tint and bleaching your hair removes the pigment so it cannot fade, so you either have to cut it off or dye it back.

I am skinny, yet my face is chubby, Hair cut advice, its looking dull and flat.. and makeup advice? thanks How old do you think i look in this picture? (link)
|
Your face is round, so you should probably add some layers and frame your face to add more shape, you need more layers and it's very flat so try curling it.
Wear a nude lip color and some mascara with light eye liner, keep it simple.

Is there a way you can color/dye your hair without dying the roots?
I'm trying to go back to my natural color and so far my roots are growing and there's about an inch of my natural color and then the rest is previously colored/dyed hair. I don't want that random line of 2 colors, so is there a way I can color it without getting the roots colored?
PS: i am not going to just color the whole head of hair because last time I did that, i turned out with 2 different colors and it looked really bad. (link)
|
You could color your whole head, you would just have to bleach your roots before you dye them or apply the color on your roots before the rest of your head.
But really if you want to just dye everything but them simply apply it everywhere on your head carefully and avoid the roots.

Hello. About sometime close to a year ago, I wanted to have a "scene" haircut. You know? Like, really short layers? Well they've grown out a couple few inches, so the shortest layer of my hair is at around the middle of my ear(s). What I would like to know is if I will be able to french braid my hair, into one french braid in the back. And No, I will not braid my hair into two french braids, I want only ONE. :) (link)
|
I don't think you could really without having to use bobby pins and hair spray that is.

So I have had darkish brown hair since forever. For the past two years I have been adding blonde highlights to my hair. There is a lot of them so it makes my hair seem lighter. Lately I have been hating the way it looks with blonde in it. So, I have decided to dye my hair back to its original color. I am wondering how this will affect my hair? i have never "dyed" my hair before, and I was thinking it might make my hair different. So is there any bad side affects that could happen to my hair because of dying it? (link)
|
Certain dye will dye your fry your hair, making it coarse, dry, and your ends split easily. I suggest getting an all natural dye since you are only going back to brown or maybe a demi permanent hair color from sally's beauty supply.
|
I use the sock method to curl my hair because I don't like using heat when I don't have to. However, they seem to fall out pretty easy, even if they have hairspray AND gel. Any ideas? (link)
|
Too much product could weigh down your curls make them fall flat. Let up on the gel. After you wash your hair put in a small amount of leave in a conditioner from root to tip. before you curl your hair use a bit of hair spray, not a ton just a slight mist over your hair then brush it. After it's curled spray it lightly again unless you feel like you need a bit more. But don't over load on products.

So i really want my hair color to be like Rachele Brooke Smith's color. here are some pictures of her-

Her color is a brown but with red too.. i've tried to dye my hair like that but it always ends up being more brown than red. I've tried using Loreal's Dark Soft Mahognay Brown. and Revlons Dark Aubrun Brown. But they seem to make my hair more brown than red. How do i get that tint of red??
Anybody have any brands or types of dye they would recommend?? Thank you! (link)
|
I have my hair a brownish red and it has a red glow in the light. My hair was already a dark brown so I bought like a dark red and put it in my hair.

Hello everyone!
I'm starting to buy a whole bunch of costume jewelry (specifically HOOP earrings) from places like Forever21. I was wondering, do any of you have jewelry boxes that hold all your earrings? Does anyone know where I can get cute jewelry boxes? I find the regular ones so plain and boring. How do you store all your earrings? Thanks in advance! (link)
|
I was at a thrift store with my mom and I found this japanese styled pagoda jewelry box. It has three drawers on on each level and it plays music when I open it. My point is, thrift stores have unique things that you can't find anywhere else. Find one by you and you might get lucky and find some really cool jewelry box.

A girl that is 5'4-5'5 too tall to wear heels? In middle school I was taller than most guys and I think ever since then I think of myself as "too tall" to wear heels. Im going away to college and I wanna dress a little bit more girly and I think wearing heels will be a big step up!.. Thanks!! (link)
|
That's actually kinda short. I'm sixteen and 5'8" and I wear heals occasionally, usually only to church or family parties. But nothing is wrong with adding an inch or two right?
|
So i really need a new pair of shoes to start off my senior year. I want to go for something comfortable, but I also want something that looks a little more grown up to match my wardrobe. My style is pretty girly, but I'm too tall for heels and I have enough flats and sandals. I'm just looking for a simple and versatile, but really cute everyday shoe. Thanks so much! :)♥ (link)
|
I usually stay with slip on shoes or flats, not very girly though. But a few months ago I was shopping and I bought these pink open toes flats. They wrapped around my foot and it was so cute and sophisticated at the same time. Open toed flats look really cute.

I naturally have very blonde hair. Its also soft and silky. But there are man different shade in it...the front is extremly blonde and the back is more of a dirty blonde.
How can i naturally lighten my hair without dying it at the hairdresser, and still keep it silky and soft? (link)
|
There are several ways, you can just sit out in the sun after swimming and it'll lighten slightly.
Lemon juice works.
Also so does vinegar.
I heard leaving oatmeal melted butter and cinnamon works too.
