Don't dye your hair black, it's hard to get out and you will regret it, go for a dark brown, tell your parents that part of growing up is trying to express and individualize yourself, don't argue with them if they say no, that'll make you look immature, instead wait a few days then try again, my mom used to not let me dye my hair, I proved to her I was mature and she let me dye my hair, now I can have it however I please. But those are my parents, not your's. ]
Whether you like it or not whatever your parents say goes. As long as you live under their house you live by their rules. Of course you think it's unfair now but you'll understand when you get older and have kids of your own someday. When you're 18, in society you are considered an adult then you can do whatever you want then. ]
Rules are rules, everyone is different. I didn't get to start dying my hair until I was 14.. Remember your still a baby to them, I still wish I was that age.. where life seemed to had no problems, give it time.. don't push it on them constantly.. let them adjust that their child is starting to grow up into a teenage. ]
I started dying my hair in middle school, and my mom is one of those crotchety non-flamboyant heck-no people lol, so I think it's totally fair. Just tell your parents how normal it is. It's natural for us young people to want to do stuff like this. :D ]
