I really need to start taking my own advice.

so if i want to dress more like these girls...
http://fuckyeahindiegirls.tumblr.com
where do I shop?
Are there any stores that arent secondhand or thrift stores that would be good?
There isn't going to be one store that sells only Indie style clothing that is magically going to transform your wardrobe. You're going to need to visit many stores, look at many pieces, and build up your new style that way.
Thrift stores will help, you can find old fitted tees and cute cardigans.
Try stores like Charlotte Russe or Forever 21. Keep in mind, these stores cater to many different styles, but they carry specific pieces that you can make all your own. Look at pictures of girls you want to dress like, get ideas from them. Then go to these stores and start looking for individual items that look similar to the pictures you saw earlier.
To get you started, look for:
Simple dresses with whatever pattern strikes your attention, perhaps small, dainty flowers for a vintage feel.
Cardigans: plain gray or white
Jeans: Skinny or boyfriend cut
Knitted caps
Plaid button up tops
Leggings
Ankle boots
Cute sneakers (Vans, low top Converse etc)
Belts to sinch dresses and tops under the bust line
Long tops to be worn with just leggings
Headbands
Now find patterns on these items that make your style all your own! You will find your own comfort zone in your new appearance.

I have no clue what i should do my make up like? This week I'm having a Halloween dance at my school. Any tips on how to do my make up real nice? (It's not a formal or costume dance) I might have my first kiss this Friday, and i want to look good haha plus i do need some new tips.
the make up i have is:
-black mascara
-brown eyeliner
I'm not a big makeup expert, so I'm going to give you a link that has changed my life.
http://www.youtube.com/user/juicystar07
Go to her YouTube channel and select whatever makeup style you like. She goes through step-by-step of each look, and its so simple!
Instead on answering the question myself, I gave you her link because she can explain it better than I can.
I hope it all turns out great :)
I highly recommend watching her videos!
For prom I have picked out a multi-colored dress , is that okay? Because for most, alot of girls pick out one prom dress that is only one color. I want to stand out, but I'm kind of scared to wear this dress to prom. It is a prom dress though. So is it okay to wear a prom dress that is multi-colored or is it too over the top for prom?
(P.S.) This is not my prom, this is my boyfriends prom.
Its absolutely okay :) I'm thinking about going with this adorable tribal-bohemian print I found. A local high school just had there prom recently. I was looking at the pictures from it, and nearly 1/2 the girls had on pretty multicolored dresses with some sort of pattern whether it was paisley, floral, or bohemian.
I'm sure you'll look fine :) Just go simple on the shoes & accessories since your dress will get all the attention!

which original 1" CHI Were you talking about on this target page?
The one at the bottom of the list, the black and gold one.
This one:

:)
where can i buy a chi straightener besides online?
and which CHI straightener is the best? I heard that there are different kinds?
p.s. do you think thet the conair inifiniti straightener is pretty goood?
Target now sells the Original Chi, which is what I highly recommend. I have now had 8 different flat irons, and the original 1" Chi has worked the best for me and a lot of my friends. You can also get them at beauty stores and salons: Ulta, Sally's Beauty Supply etc.
I had the Chi Turbo, it was awful. It got my hair straight, but for some reason it had felt around the outsides of flat iron and it would cause my hair to get very, very staticky.
I did have the conair infiniti once, I hated it and returned it within a week. It might just be because I have a lot of hair to straighten, but it was awful when I used it.
Good luck :)
so i got my hair cut and the lady cut probably 2-3 inches shorter then what i wanted(its now a little below my shoulders). and the lady cut my bangs so wrong. i wanted them at an angle and she didn't do that.
so here are my questions:
1. whats a good way to style my hair to make it look better then it does?
2. is there anything i can buy that will make my hair grow faster then usual?
Ah the bad hair cut, been there, dealt with that.
Pony tails will become your best friend. As the previous answer said its summer so its perfectly okay!
Try getting creative and pinning your bangs back with pretty clips, headbands, or classic bobby pins. I know a lot of people that can pull of some cute, summery looks by just opening up their face and pulling their bangs back. This will totally help you if you're not into your bangs in the first place.
If going to a salon to fix it isn't an option, heres what I did:
I didn't flat iron or curl my hair for the entire summer. My hair grew a good three inches by the end of summer and was so much nicer looking. Not damaging it so much helped it get it back to its proper length sooner then I had hoped and planned for.
Condition, condition, condition. Leave it in, rinse it out, repeat if you want. :)
You can always go for the half-up do also. Thats a very classic, pretty hair style. The length may take some time to get used too, but you can neatly pin the bangs back and have a clean, nice look. :)
Hey! Well I'm about to turn that SWEET 16!
I was looking into presents that I might want, and I stumbled upon this bag...
http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?itemdescription=true&itemCount=60&id=14583058&parentid=W_ACC_BAGS&sortProperties=+product.marketingPriority,-product.startDate&navCount=1708&navAction=poppushpush&color=01
do you like it?
I want to make sure my presents are very special and will be chique for a very long time. Thanks!
Oh wow that bag is gorgeous. I think its great because it looks like a perfect size and its classy. It will go with a more dressy outfit or if you are just going casual for the day. I definitely love it; great find.
how do you scrunch hair? i have this Garnier Fructis curl construct mousse, the only problem is i dont know how to scrunch my hair lol.. help?!
My hair is naturally curly but it looks awful if I don't scrunch it, so I can help.
While in the shower, I wash my hair with regular shampoo and conditioner then use a VERY large tooth comb. (I use a Conair shower comb. I comb my hair into a part WHILE I'm still in the shower to make sure I got all of the conditioner out and to make my hair look neater when it gets curly. DO NOT comb it once you're out of the shower. That will make your hair too frizzy, even if its wet.)
I take a towel and squeeze the excess water out of my hair, this also helps create some waves. While my hair is still pretty wet I use Garnier Fructis Curl Construct mousse and begin scrunching my hair in three sections: Left, right, back. Some people like to flip their heads over and scrunch for extra volume.
I let my hair air dry and try not to touch it. If I'm in a hurry I use a blow dyer with a curl diffuser but not that many people have one of those. When my hairs dry I use John Frieda Dream Curls spray just to help set my curls in, but you don't have to use it.
Always finish with hair spray.
what should be the jean size for 14-15 yr old girls
that are about 5'3-5'5
ranging from 107-130 pounds
I'm 15, 5'4", and I weigh around 120.
I wear a size 3 in most cases. I do have wide hips
though which results in me needing a size 5 to fit comfortably.
Hey! Well I've wanted a brown purse for a while now but I'm undecided over which one to get. I've narrowed down 2 already:

Wear all black clothing and attached a stamped envelope to your shirt saying: "To: My Ex Boyfriend"
You'll be blackmail! ;]
Good Luck
Helloo I was thinking of wearing my hair half up half down for homecoming and my hair is curly but I want tto like actually curl it. Also I don't half up half down styles. DO you think you guys could help? thankS!
I just had homecoming last night. Do you know those styles where girls take a little bit of hair off the top of their hairline and pull it back in bobby pins to form a small 'poof'? I did that with a really pretty clip then curled the parts that hung out of the clip, it look beautiful. However, I straightened the parts that weren't in the clip. You could either straighten or leave those parts curly.
Good Luck
Me and my friends..I'm assuming it's just the girls..We all want to dress up for Halloween haha..It doesn't necessarily have to be a group or anything..We're all pretty crazy and like to be funny..We can do outrageous and obscence..Is there anything we all could do? Even together or seperately? Any ideas you think would be hilarious? Help pleaseee! Thank you :]
Double-Mint twins or Clueless would be my top two. However, I did love the Spongebob idea :] Hannah Montana, Spice Girls, Seven Dwarfs.
You could do like sterotypes (I.E: One prep, one emo, one scene, one nerd etc) You could all be the girls from Deal or No Deal or wear like football jerseys in a sexy, creative way.
Those are just a few ideas to get your minds flowing ;] if you search the site there are a ton of questions just like this!
Good Luck
Where can I get a good branch of skinny jeans that arn't too expensive?
I checked Forever 21, but maybe I didn't look hard enough.

I got great pairs for 15$-30$ at Charlotte Russe :)
I have SUPER thin straight hair. The only thing I know to do for it is well leave it straight. Do you know of anything I can do thats "cute" but will also last. (Pictures websites anything) Thanks :)
When you get out of the shower, wrap it up in a towel. Get dressed then upwrap it, it should be somewhat curly. *Be sure its still somewhat wet!* Use Garnier Curl Construct Mousse and scrunch your hair. The more you scrunch the curlier it'll be. Make sure you do the under parts of your hair as well. Let that dry for a little bit. Then, when its slightly wet still spray John Frieda Curl Spray in your curls to hold them, continue to let dry.
I like to use Garnier Sleek and Shine Anti-Humidity hair spray when its dry, because I live down south and its so daggum humid! Lol!
I hope you like the style.
I get compliments on it all the time.
Good Luck

and if you hhave seen it, and it's like the one where her dad buys her a present, when she shows lily the presents her dad bought her before, do you know how to do that hairstyle? i loved it!!
Please, don't say..oh, she has a proffesional designer. Do you have the website for where you can buy those clothes? please, and thank u
srry it's long!
I see you didn't get many answers for this question, but I can help on the clothes part. Alot of her clothes are from American Eagle. If you notice alot of them have the eagle on them. Also, I have several shirts that she wears and they are all from Forever 21. Try stores like that, Charlotte Russe, Macy's, and Wet Seal.
Get creative, layer, mix and match, and never forget accessories!
Good Luck
i dont no what to do with my hair.
like whats a good shampoo
cuz my hair is like kinda greasy ew.
Try Pantene's Daily Clearifying shampoo. Its strips your hair of an excess oil, but its gentle enough to use often. I still only like to use it once a week, just to really clean up my hair. Other then that, try using less conditioner or only conditioning the ends.
I've also been told by stylists that washing your hair less makes it less greasy believe it or not. You are supposed to wash your hair every three days. Now, I could never handle that. But if its something you're up to, I've heard it works. It does take some time for you and your hair to get used to it though.
Good Luck
I love the smell of Hollister clothes and id love to smell like that all the time. I saw one day the workers spraying a perfume on the clothes and i tryed their Maui perfume but thats not it. Anyone know what perfume they use to spray their clothes with that gets them to smell so good?
Hollister August, its typically what they use.
They no longer have it on their website, but I've seen it in stores recently. It usually runs about 30$ a bottle.
Good Luck,3

i'm a night showerer and i usually straighten my hair but if i get up early enough in the morning i can scrunch it because it looks so good. The thing is i want to scrunch my hair but have it stay for the morning and it just won't if i ponytail it or just let it hang.
how can i keep it in place?
Also i absolutely hate my skin under my eyes. i've always had dark under eye circles and youcan kinda see my veins underneath. Also i have wrinkes it seems under my eyes, and i don't want to look 50 when i'm 20!!!!
I've come up with this new curling-routine I used and my hair stays perfect and curled all day long!
-When you get out of the shower, wrap your hair up in a towel for about 3 minutes to give it a little curl and take out some of the water.
-(Make sure hair is still somewhat wet) Use Garnier Frutis Curling Mousse and scrunch your hair. (I like to wet my hands and run them through my hair before I scrunch it just incase the towel took out a little too much water)
-Let it sit for a few minutes and air out a bit.
-Spray John Frieda Curl Renewal throughout your hair and scunch it again to get it worked in.
-After hair has dried, finish off with hairspray.
It stays curly and scrunched all day long :)
will my hair be severly damaged if i straighten it 3 times a week for 30 days? thank you =] ♥
Hey there :)
I've straightened my hair for almost three years now, and I mean every single day almost. My hair does have damage, but not to an extreme point. I snip my split ends off every once and a while, and I've even started using Garnier Fruitis Deep Conditioning treatment which I'm now in love with :)
However, you can always try to mix things up by wearing it curly on some days. I got alot more compliments when I changed things around.
GoodLuck
