My natural hair colour is a very dark brown but I've been dying it for about a year.

A while ago I tried to dye my fringe hot pink, but it went wrong so it was bright ginger. I tried to dye all my hair chestnut brown to cover it up but the front was still lighter. I dyed it again a few months later but the front was still lighter than everywhere else.

I really want to get it back to my natural colour but the only way I can do that is by growing it out or using a colour stripping solution. I've never used one before and I'm not sure how badly it will damage my hair. I have very thick hair and all the dye hasn't really affected it, so I'm not sure whether or not that will make a difference. Any advice or suggestions on a colour I could dye it would be welcome.

I'd suggest that you go to a salon and have them strip it and dye it back (bring an old photo of yourself with your natural color to give the stylist a better idea of what shade you're looking for). It'll cost you more money but that type of thing is much, much better left to professionals. Besides, if you mess it up, you'll have to go to a salon anyway.

Next time you're looking to dye your fringe...try bleaching it first to get the hot pink you wanted.

I'm constantly being made fun of because of my eyebrows. I've plucked them to death and now they're about half as short as they used to be. They're ugly and it's really hurting my self esteem. I've tried letting them grow back but they're just little sprouts and never actually form an eyebrow. They're scattered... so I shave them off. I hate this!!!! What can I do to have normal looking eyebrows? I've tried eyebrow pens but nothing matchs the color and it looks terrible having half only colored on with not a trace of hair. I don't want to bestuck like this for the rest of my life! Please help!

There's not much else you can do but use a pencil and let them grow back in. They're going to look ugly for awhile but don't reshave them because of that. If you overpluck, the hair will NOT grow back. Try going to a salon once they've come back in a bit and get them shaped.

You could always have your hair cut to add in a cute fring that will help in hiding them until then.

ok well i just put on sunless tanning and like it worked but it looks orange sorta...but does the orangness stay orangge or does it like fade and turn into a tan....this is my first day i just put it on last night. so if anyone else had this problem plz tell me cuz i have a bonfire this weekend and i need to look good in a bikini
thanx

Everyone already told you how to get rid of it but to ensure that it doesn't happen again, make sure you select the correct color for your skin tone.

If you're very light, try choosing a medium tanner instead of a deep tanner (if this is what you did) and put only a small bit on. The point is to BUILD the tan over time. That eliminates the problem of streaking and appearing orange. Also, make sure your skin is moisturized (best to apply after a shower).

i want to know how to make my bottom eyelashes look pretty.. like when i put mascara on but usually it doesnt look right and it gets all globby and stuff.. any tips?? i rate high

rub some of the mascara off of your brush before you apply it. You need to use as little as possible and build on that. You'll avoid clumps that way.

Also, if you're using a curved brush, use the opposite side. It's easier that way on bottom lashes.

where are some places to buy good hair dye? like I'm looking for normal colored stuff (like brown) but the fun colors are fine too (as long as they have reg colors there!)

because when i got to grocery stores and get like loreal or revlon hair dye they never turn out like they say and fade out of my hair real fast and I'm looking for more professional hair dyes to do myself (well my mom who knows what she is doing)

do they carry them at places like sallys?

ohh yeah web sites are good as long as they have stores too!

( i live in PA if that matters!)

You could try buying some dye from hair salons. Though most of the brands you buy in stores make formulas for salons anyway. The only real difference between the two is the application process (so actually going to a salon and having your hair colored might be worth considering).

It could be that your hair just doesn't take color that well because it's too dry. Make sure that your hair is very well conditioned before you color it. The better conditioned your hair is, the easier it will take to coloring. It will also last longer.

You could also try layered coloring (so that even if the color DOES fade, it won't be as noticeable). But you'd probably have to go to a salon for that. It's too hard to do on your own.

Herbal Essences and Garnier, in my opinion, sell the best hair dyes. They're gentler and the color is bolder and lasts longer (at least for me).

The best way to keep your color vibrant is to use shampoos and conditioners made specifically for colored hair (or the gentlest shampoo you can find) and to wash your hair every other or every few days (depending upon the type of hair you have). Also protect your hair with caps when tanning and swimming because both fade your color very quickly.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a good shampoo for me. I have shoulder length, straight, thick hair, and it is not colored. Right now I am using Redken Full Body shampoo, and the conditioner, but I would like to try something else. And I do not have a price limit, and I would prefer it to be over 10 dollars. Any suggestions would be great.

Michael diCesare oatwash. All of his products are amazing.

my modeling manager wants me to be in the magazine MAXIM. i am 14, do you think this is weird?
he says its good for exposure since i am just starting.

MAXIM will not put a 14 year old girl in their magazine.

A legit manager would never suggest such a thing. Drop him like a bad habit and have your parents look into whoever this pervert is so that he cannot target another unsuspecting young girl.

ok im 13. i wear a 34 DD. yeah im not fat either. just huge boobs my mom is almost an E! yeah so i need help. my boobs they are big bu they kinna sink and they have the cleave i want my boobs to not sink and much and get like pushed up... my mom wont by me a push up bra either.. soo how can i make my boobs like perfect so when i wear a low cut shirt boys will ... heh you knoww..

Your Mom has the right idea. With breasts your size, a push up bra is going to be way too much for your age.

There are bras made for your breast size that will even out the shape and enhance the lift naturally. Try a store that specializes in lingerie. They can measure your chest (most women are actually wearing the WRONG size) and put you in a bra that is going to be best suited to your needs. I'm sure your mom would go for that.

Hey everyone..my junior prom is sort of coming up and i wanna start lookin for a dress..does anyone know if the dresses are usually floor lenght or does it not matter..and where are some good places to look for unexpensive dresses?

Any department store at the mall will sell prom dresses anywhere between $75 to $200. Sometimes, if you look in other areas and not in the actual prom dress displays, you can find alot of really cute things for even cheaper. Sure, they're last year's looks but they're all similar anway.

I looked on a back rack and got my senior prom dress for $40 and the best thing about it? I got tons of compliments on it and no one else had it :) You certainly don't want to spend your big night in the exact same dress as someone else!

are there any lip plumping lip glosses that dont burn? i saw this one in a catalog but my mom threw it away. i want an inexpensive one. preferably one that doesnt stink...lol thanks

Sally Hansen Lip Inflation works GREAT (and it's way cheap). I absolutely love it. Although the taste isn't that great, it doesn't burn or smell.

You can get it at Wal Mart

Doe anyone kno any good hair styles for medium length hair, not fancy just every day look im tired of ponytails and just leavin it dwn boring. thanks

I've always liked this style:
http://traumfrisuren.de/_derived/open_braids.htm_txt_titelbild_open_braids_animated.gif

It's easy and fast. Just braid tiny sections and mix it in with the rest of your hair. Sometimes I curl or wave the rest of my hair if I want a different look. Extensions also work but they're quite expensive to maintain.

Hey, Im 13 and a female. I would like to start tanning because I am very white/pale. She says that 13 is too young to start tanning and that I should wait until I am 16. I really dont think that I would be willing to wait until I am 16. I mean come on that is 3 years! Is there anything that I can say or do to make her agree. Please dont say you should wait till your 16. Ill rate high. Molly ♥

You really should wait. Tanning is absolutely horrible for your skin. It causes cancer and premature wrinkling among other incredibly unappealing things.

BUT your skin is your own and you can do whatever you please to it. If you are hell bent on actual tanning, at least wait until you are older (I know you didn't want to hear it) to avoid that "I swear I'm 16 even though I look 45" appearance.

Why don't you meet your mother in the middle and ask her if you can use something sunless until then? Check into whether or not any tanning locations in your area provide mystic. If not, there are a lot of products out there (to quote earlier advice I gave) that will work if you select the proper color method for your natural skin tone.

If you have very light skin and choose a deep tanner, you're going to look very unnatural and teeter dangerously close to orange. Also, make sure to wash and moisturize your skin before applying it. The color should come out just fine with no streaking. It's best though to build your color over time to avoid the orange/streaked look.

does anyone know any self tanners that actually work?
i tried that jergens natural glow, and it didnt work at ALL. the ones i see are like, $10 and my mom wont pay(im broke lol) soo i was wondering if there were any good kinds that actually work.
thanks!

I use Neutrogena Sunless Tanning Foam (when I'm not too lazy :p) and it works really well.

Most anything will if you select the proper color method for your natural skin tone. If you have very light skin and choose a deep tanner, you're going to look very unnatural and teeter dangerously close to orange. Also, make sure to wash and moisturize your skin before applying it. The color should come out just fine with no streaking. It's best though to build your color over time to avoid the orange/streaked look.

Jergans contains a minimal amount of tanner in it as it's meant to be used each night as a regular moisturizer that will add color over time. You need to use ALOT of it to get any real color right away.

hey! okay, i'm 15/f and i'm allowed to get my belly button pierced after our last cheerleading competition, which is around march 13. but, we are going to mexico for spring break on march 24, and i don't know if i should get it done before spring break or not. i want it when i'm laying on the beach and stuff but will the water in mexico and all the chlorine be bad for it? i don't know if i should get it done before or after mexico. any ideas? any info on belly button piercing would be great too!

Get it done after. That type of piercing takes awhile to heal but the chlorine will not irritate it.

I know Journeys sells Timberlands so you might want to check there. If you don't have one in your area you can always check the Journeys/Timberland websites and just order them online.

I am East India so my hair is very very dark. A few months ago, I streaked it copper. I want to try to temporarily change my hair colour (I'm partial to reds) but I'm not sure if it will show. I used a red Colourpulse last time but it tinted my -highlights- redder (just by a bit, though) and I want a more dramatic colour.
Usually, at the side of temporary colour boxes, there is a sample of before/after hair and the darkest shade sampled is "dark brown" which isn't really dark brown, it's more light brown if anything.
Is there a shade in Colourpulse, Colourflirt, or any other dye that washed out in 8-12 shampoos that I can use? Is there any technique that will make the shade deeper?

You'd have to bleach the sections of hair you want to dye first if you want the color to be really vibrant.

Go to a stylist to have that done though.

i have expression lines between my eyes and ive been using cocoa butter lotion evryday to get them away. will that work and if not what can i sue or what else could help ne solutions to gettin rid of wrinkles???

P.S they arent like major wrinkles or nething just annoying since im young.

Do NOT use makeup. It'll only get into the creases and make them more noticeable.

Try using a cream with a collagen base. It'll seal in the creases. There are also alot of skin firming creams in the aisle's that carry acne products that you can try.

Are their any clothing styles that make your breasts look bigger? Like bras and t-shirts and stuff. I heard V necks make an illusion of bigger boobs but i don't know. Please help me.

Anything form fitting or that hugs the breasts will make them appear larger.

Your best bet though to is go with a molded cup, padded or push up bra. It'll give you cleavage, make your breasts appear larger and rounder and the effect is noticeable in any type of shirt you wear.

Also, if you're wearing anything low cut, a bit of blush between your cleavage and some highlights on the swells of your breasts will add definition.

hey i am 13/f and i'm trying to find a new hair color
i'm getting my hair cut like this picture:
http://imdb.com/gallery/granitz/3274/AshleeSimp_Pimen_5265256_400.jpg?path=pgallery&path_key=Simpson,%20Ashlee&seq=3

i have reddish hair and a pale skin tone. (this is a picture of my hair and skin color)
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e43/ooxSaRaBaRaxoo/screwup_jpg.jpg

i really want to change up my hair color and i'm not sure which way to go. i think i'm going to get some highlights but i'm not sure what shade and what color to make the base. any ideas? thanks a bunch! i rate

If I were you, I'd keep the same color as a base and add a few highlights and lowlights (2 to 3 shades lighter for the highlights and darker for the lowlights than your real color). It'll add alot of dimension to your hair without making it appear unnatural and it's pretty fool proof.

It would look amazing with that haircut too
