I am East India so my hair is very very dark. A few months ago, I streaked it copper. I want to try to temporarily change my hair colour (I'm partial to reds) but I'm not sure if it will show. I used a red Colourpulse last time but it tinted my -highlights- redder (just by a bit, though) and I want a more dramatic colour.
Usually, at the side of temporary colour boxes, there is a sample of before/after hair and the darkest shade sampled is "dark brown" which isn't really dark brown, it's more light brown if anything.
Is there a shade in Colourpulse, Colourflirt, or any other dye that washed out in 8-12 shampoos that I can use? Is there any technique that will make the shade deeper?

DancinCutie08 answered Monday January 23 2006, 6:39 pm: they make a special line of colors for that.. i believe loreal has a brand just for dark hair that washes out in like 14 shamppos. the best place to check is a supermarket that carries alot of hair dyes... like giant eagle [ DancinCutie08's advice column | Ask DancinCutie08 A Question ]

this works for me so it might work for you, it all varies from person to person.
