I know what you mean... I used to feel SO uncomfortable talking to my dad about that stuff. Until one day i NEEDED him.... I told him that I felt weird talking to him about this but i thought I needed to. He loved that I came to him... I dont know he felt honored or something lol. But if you still can't get up the nerves to do that then just talk to a really close woman like an aunt maybe? or ya know I'm always here for you even though we dont know each other

my dad just got called up to iraq again and me and him havent been very close lately. i know it's gonna be hard with out him around but i feel like i need to spend more time with him now so i can have some good times to remember with him. We just don't connect. Please Help me...
My dad and I dont connect very much either... and he's gone A LOT! But even though thats true, I dont know what I'd do without him! I love him with all my heart and I'm sure you feel the same about your dad. To get closer you should try to see what he's into. Even if you dont like the sound of what he says, TRY IT! You may end up liking it! And once he sees that you are putting in the effort to get closer even though its not what you usually like... he'll realize it! And probably he'll do stuff YOU like later! I hope everything is wonderful!!!!

i started my period a few months ago...and my mom gave me pads....i want tampons soo i can go swimming etc....soo i decided to ask her...i cant get the guts up to ask her...how should i ask her?
just get up the courage and ask her sometime... make sure you say WHY you want to (swimming, comfortable... etc) OR who says she has to know? go out and buy some yourself
i'm 15 and i want my belly button pirced and my dad doesn't mind but my mom want let...i mean all my close friends have theres done...even my friend that has the meanest parents in the world! but i was woundering how i could get my mom to let me get it done!??
get a bunch of references! lol show her that so many people have them and they look really cute! I have mine and my mom wasnt crazy about it either... I went with my dad and when I showed her she said that it was fine, she just didnt wanna be there cuz she thinks it hurts. I didnt think it hurt that bad but whatever! Ask her what it is about belly button piercings that makes her not want it so much! if those ideas dont work try BRIBE! lol I know it sounds bad but sometimes it works. Tell her something like "how about you let me get my peircing and I'll clean the downstairs for a month!" ...or something like that! I have no idea if these will work with your mom... but theres no harm in trying right :D GOOD LUCK

Okay well im 13 years old i am going to be turning 14 in aug. and i'm having a birthday party at my house w/ guys and girls and i have no idea what to do at the party does any one have any ideas? i have no swimming pool so can't swim please help thank you so much :)
Make sure you have enough food for everyone! Guys eat A LOT! lol and dont forget music!!! you must have good music that everyone is into and can dance to! I dont know what kind of music your into but you dont want too many slow songs.. people like to dance and have fun!
