I'm 15/f and i've been masturbating for soo long now(nothing like fingering, just rubbing). For maybe a couple months ago my vagina started itching and whenever i got my period, the itching would stop. I'm going to stop masturbating. The itching got to a point where I would itch and when I pee it would burn my vagina. Now, I get the feeling when I pee I still have to pee like a couple minutes later even when it's like not even that much pee. I just want to know if this will go away over time. I even bought the original Vagisil because I told my mom that it itched but didn't tell her why (I don't want my family to know about the masturbating)and if they bring me to a doctor i'm afraid he's going to ask me something about that so i'm trying to avoid that! Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on what to do?

From you saying your vagina burns, and you constantly feeling like you have to pee even if nothing comes out.. it sounds like you have a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). This is very common, so don't worry! Although many people tend to contract a UTI after having sex, it can be contracted in other ways too. Make an appointment with your doctor and you will be put on medicine to help it. As for now, drink PLENTY of water so that you actually pee more regularly and CRANBERRY JUICE (not cocktail)! Drink plenty of cranberry juice.

I have to get up at 6:00 A.M for high school... In your opinion, is it better to shower the night before, or when you wake up? Because, I have P.E...and when I take a shower, I preferably wash my hair. So, which way do you do it? This is a really weird question LOL

I take a shower at night so that right when I get up I can just straighten or whatever to my hair and it saves time vs. showering, blowdrying, etc. It beats getting up the extra hour. Plus, if you plan on taking a full shower after gym, it'd save a lot of time and energy if you didn't just take one 3 hours ago at home.

Since it's your sweet 16, how about doing something big for your birthday? Like getting a limo with all of your friends and going out to dinner and stuff with all of them. I want to get a new snowboard for my birthday, if you're into that kind of thing. Or if you play other sports, maybe some nice new equipment. This girl that I know's parents took her to New York City for her 16th birthday. You could also ask for money so that when you actually figure out something that you really want, you could get it.

When you're teasing your hair, you're just backcombing it. Instead of combing down like you usually do, you comb upwards toward your scalp. It makes your hair look bigger.

i know there alot of forgein exchange programs that bring kids to the u.s. from other countries. are there any that u.s kids can do to go to other countries? if so, where can i read about it? i've tried searching google, but i didnt find anything.

Yup, US kids can go to other countries. My friend's boyfriend's sister (haha) went to France. My school has a club, AFS, that organizes these kinds of things. It's a club that's all into studying new cultures and stuff. Check it out and see if your school has this program. If not, your best bet is to visit your guidance office. =)

How do you feel pretty when you're completely different from everyone else?

I can't help but pick my flaws out. I'm not fair skinned or have that off the beach tan. I have big eyes but not big eyelids. My eyebrows are small. My hair is dark brown as well as my eyes.

Everyone seems so attractive to blondes, big eyes, colored eyes.. tans.. just so pretty..

and I feel like a child because I look different :( i don't know how to think differently.. I've been told I'm attractive.. but there's so many people that look similar and I feel out of the loop. But then again, I don't care much to be in it. I just feel like I'm there and unworthy to be a model.

I look different from everyone, too. When I was younger, I felt the SAME way! I felt like just because I wasn't blonde haired and blue eyed, that I wasn't pretty. After awhile, I learned to embrace my beauty. It's good to look different. I actually LOVE looking different than everybody else, (I'm half pacific islander/half white, and practically everyone at my school is white). I'm sure that people envy that you have different looks. You'll stand out. People would probably kill for your beach tan, or your big eyes. It's normal to pick out your own flaws, EVERYBODY does it. Everybody is self concious about something about themselves, so don't let it bring you down! Wear makeup to bring out your features. From the details you gave me, it sounds like you're gorgeous! To bring out your big brown eyes, even though you don't have to, get a mascara that makes your eyelashes look really long. I recommend the Telescopic & the Volume Shocking mascara. I usually use the white part of the Volume Shocking mascara, and then use the Telescopic mascara over it. Before I put on the mascara, I curl my eyelashes with an eyelash curler. It makes my eyelashes look mad long.

ok so last night was the first time i drank w/ my friends and we did a few shots. But nothing happen and we didnt get drunk or n e thing but then my other friend found out and got really mad...what should i do?

This happened to two of my friends too. My friend got drunk for the first time, and her friend was so mad at her. Also, my other friend started to hook up with some guys, not even like she was a slut, and her friend never made out with a guy and she always got so mad at her. I personally think it's kind of stupid. It is good that she's looking after you .. but she can't control your life. If you weren't drinking to the point where you were absolutely hammered and having sex with 5 different guys in the same night, she shouldn't be mad. You were experimenting, and it's absolutely normal as a teen. She probably just feels you did something that she never thought would happen, and she's still clinging on to her childhood, and it's FINE. Just let her cool off, and she'll get over it. You can't really even say anything either. She'll just have to cool off on her own.
