Hi guys, my friend (girl) is turning 16, and is having a party. What are some good cheap birthday gifts? We are friends, but not best friends if you know what I mean, so I would like something not pricey at all. Something under 20 dollars...under 15 if possible. 10 dollars would be great haha. You could always get her like a cute lotion set from bath and body works. They always have some type of sale going on. You should ask her what her favorite scents are. I'm sure that you could find something at B&BW.

I know that you cannot actually see the real trial case, but I know that E! and Sky Broadcasting had an re-enactment of sorts of the Michael Jackson court case on television at some point. Is there any way I could watch it online (or if there is some sort of video recording--please include the title) as I need it for a Legal Studies Assignment.

i'm a 19/f and i'm korean. i'm 5'6", but i love wearing heels, i try to find ones that are only 2 1/2in tall, but i always end up getting ones that are around 3-4 in. i know this is random, but i was just wondering (since koreans/asians in general) are sort of conservative) if 3-4 in heels on a girl is too high/looks bad? thanks all for the advice, i'd love both asian girl and boy opinions, thank you :)

I'm not Asian, but if you love wearing heels and you feel confident in them, then that will show. Confidence is sexy. I wish that I could wear heels (I'm 5'10"), so I'm a little jealous that you can pull that off! :)

I've had this cat for just a few months now but I still don't know what to name him. I want something original. He's a REALLY sweet cat. I've never had a cat that had such a big heart. Does anyone have any ideas of what I could name him?

Im sure this is in the wrong category, but Im positive it dosnt fall into any other category. Well, summer 09 is finally here, & I want it to be the most amazing summer ever. I just finished freshmen year and im 15.

Ohh, and I wanna do things with my friends.

- Bonfires! Make smores, roast hot dogs, etc. Make it a huge event by sending out facebook event invitations. Now that it's summer, everyone is laid back and just wants something to do. Good food + good music = a great time.

- Water balloon fight. Invite that guy over that you've been hooking up with to come play haha.
- Have a huge feast with all of your closest (girl) friends. Make sure that nobody has beef with the other girls though! Make smores in your microwave, get a bunch of fruit, etc.
- Backyard campout! Who says that you have to go to a campground to go camping?
- Go window shopping! I do it all the time and try on everything with my friends. It's so much fun because you don't even have to buy anything at all. I like to do this and then go get some ice cream afterwards. It's a lot of fun, if you haven't done it already.

Does proactive really work? I know its different for certiain people but im just wondering if it worked for you. I dont have wicked bad acne but i have my breakouts. If it doesnt work for you what do you use that does work?

Okay, so I'll tell you what I do to keep my acne under control. Yeah, I wasn't exactly blessed with perfect skin, but these products that I use are very inexpensive, and seem to work well. It has taken me awhile to see results, but you have to keep at it, and have some patience. I have tried everything, and these are the products that are the cheapest that *I* could find and seem to work well. Then again, everybody's skin type is different. You just have to see what works for you!

I wear makeup to cover my zits, and it seems to work well. However, MANY many many people make the mistake of forgetting to wash it off! You can do this with a simple bar soap:

You don't need a special make-up remover to take off your makeup. However, for eyes, this is what I use since I can't always get to my eyes with products not designed to be close to them [results in stinging, and general pain in the eye]:

The thing that I love about this mask is the way that you can take it off. You can peel it off, it's kinda fun. :-P

I use a cheap/imitator version of Pro-Activ called AcneFree. I have tried a friend's Pro-Activ kit for about a week. Honestly, I think that they work the same. AcneFree, however, is a LOT cheaper.

Using these products in a 'routine'. First, I use the AcneFree in the morning when I wake up, and in the evening before I go to bed. IF I wear makeup that day [powder, foundation, blush, etc.], I use the Dial bar soap. And finally, I use the peel off mask just to open up my pores and clean them out.

My results: I have noticed that my acne has gotten a lot better, zits do not appear in clusters as they used to. Now, I just get zits on my hairline [since my bangs are always in my face, need to do a better job at managing that], and my pores on my nose have gotten a LOT lighter, and are barely noticeable.

Again, like I said, I had to try a lot of different products to see what works. A thing that you can try is, is if you have a friend who has acne has well and is willing to share their products, then you can 'sample' them before you buy them for yourself.

Check out the answer to this question. The person is in the same situation as you. Contrary to what the other person said, you don't need to move to LA or NY! I've been wanting to try the Mineral Power makeup from Maybelline. Alot of people say that this perticular makeup feels great on your skin, and it suppost to cover up like crazy. I now use the Pure Makeup. I'm just looking to try a new product. I like something that dosent feel thick, looks really natural, and covers up pretty good. Like blemishes and dark circles. I have maybe...medium dark circles. But, just tell me on what you think of the line. I'm thinking of using the foundation, loose powder, concealer, and blush. Does it really cover well? And does it feel good on your skin? Does it go on really natural? But, just give me your opinion on the product, if you use it. Thanks so much for all your help!

I use the Mineral Power powder foundation and it works great. It goes on very lightly, covers up blemishes and red spots, and it won't do you any harm if you sleep in it. The thing that people do wrongly is the way that they apply it. When you buy it and unwrap the product, it should come with a circular small instruction sheet explaining how to apply it.

Turn container upside down so that the powder is on the black top. [sounds unusual, but it works].

Dip brush into powder, and TAP excess powder on the side of the container.

Work your way from bottom to top, and apply makeup in a circular motion all over face.

Afterwards, with clean hands, blend any spots that look heavier or lighter with makeup than the others.

REMEMBER -- Apply makeup in NATURAL light to achieve the best results, and to prevent two-toned shades of the face and the neck.

If I replace my printing paper with line paper, will it work, or will something bad happen like it will get stuck to the printer or it'll take 5 sheets?

It will most likely cause a paper jam, because line paper is much thinner than computer paper. Don't try it.

No. I tried to plug in my ipod into my cousins sandisk mp3 charger, and my ipod went berserk, and went to the reset screen. The same concept applies to what you are trying to do right now. It could be possible that the ihome would interfere with your zunes software. Remember, ipod = Apple, zune = Microsoft. Two VERY different companies. Mac = Apple , PC = Microsoft. Get it? ;) Dont try anything for the sake of your zune.

ahhh i'm so bored! i don't know what to do. i live in ohio, it's cold and snowy and i live in really small town with next to nothing in it. so any ideas on anything i can do at home? anythingg fun or interesting that will keep me busy til like friday.

The 'Hundred' episode is the first one on there. The quality is great. The website that hosts the episode is youku.com. I've used that website before for movies through movie websites. I highly recommend pausing the movie, and letting it load fully [until the orange bar has reached the end], so when you play the movie, the playback is clear, with no breaks and pauses. It will break and pause if you automatically just play it. So like I said, just let it load fully, and go ahead and watch it. :)

in the episode where spongebob and squidwards band play at the bubble bowl, is that a real song that they sing at the end, or is it just one that they made up? if its real, whats the name of the song and who is it by? i know im kinda old to be wathcing the show, i just think that song sounded good.:]
