i am redoing my room. the walls are white, and the rug is light-blue, which i cant change. does anyone have any ideas on what colors/theme i should use. i'm 14 if it helps.

You could do something nautical (like boat/ocean), or make the theme be light blue and white with a bunch of extra pastels mixed in. Like you could have a light pink and light green be throw pillows, and have your accesories match that. Go to a local decorating store like Homegoods or even Marshalls should have some good stuff and then pick a comforter to go with your personality, and to match your room. Have fun! And remember you don't have to match perfectly.

i am having an italian night and i'm having my friends ova!! what should i do for italian night?? how should i decorate and what kind of games can we play there is gonna be 4 girls and one guy!! suggestions??

Well get cups plates decorations in all sorts of red green and white colors. Streamers, same colors. Get a big sheet of paper and color it with green, red and white stripes (italy's flag) and put it on a piece of cardboard, and hang it up on one of the walls. Play leaning tower of pisa where you guys divide into two groups and each group gets a deck of cards, and some tape, and you both have to build Leaning Towers and sees who's stays up longer the whole night! I'm moving pretty soon, and I really want to have a "theme" for my new room. I get whatever I want, and I don't know what would look good, my interests:

1. Anime and manga (Japanese stuff) That's my favorite, I really want a Japanese style room.

2. Nature.

3. Dark stuff, i.e. kind of punkish.

4. American Eagle, and Aeropostale. I know you can't really make that into a theme, but y'know.

5. California! =D

Make the style surf, it ties up Cali and Nature. Get a mural on your wall of the ocean, buy a cheap surf board of ebay and nail it to the wall, (or you can buy a fake on, idk where you would tho), make your color theme aquas and sea green. . . the walls w. out murals can be three different aqua/blue colorz . . . get an air machine and play 'ocean waves' when you go to sleep, you'll really feel like your in cali, and they help you fall asleep really fast, you could even turn it on while your friends were there to make them feel the touches of the room. I just got my room re-done in a rustic type style. I live in a log house so half my room is wood and the other half is sheet rock that is a dark orange/yellow color. My bedding is light brown corduroy and the other side is beige with orange the color of my walls, and burnt red stripes, what kinda accesories should i do to just set the them for my rustic room?

hm may i suggest french cafe? Get pictures of things liek the eiffel tower, and get some mugs to put into your room on a little table. Get things with beads and hang them around the top of your room, be creative hunn..

ok im moving ... im painting my room dark purple and light purple ... but i have no clue what colors to paint my bathroom .... here are some of my fave colors

- green
- purple
- pink
- blue
- yellow
- black

Hey Guys! Well I just moved into a new house and I have painted my room pink! I love the color! Just to give you an idea its the color of peptobismol! (lol.) I love all colors (especailly pink and black) and I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on decorating (please dont leave me any messages saying do what u wanna do. i want real ideas) Tell me anything from shelves to posters! well try pulling in some more colors. If you like black take that old computer desk and paint it black. Just paint old furniture in the colors you like. You can get sparkle spray and spray the walls, lamps, etc. Hmm.. make it you. Get a bulletin board, get wood floors, use fake flowers ((which you can get cheap at like a walmart)) and just spice up the room. There is sooo much to do you are unlimited girl! I have had this one comforter for a long time and now it has holes in it and stains and all that kinda stuff. I want a new one soon, but my mom wants to make me a new one, but she's really a busy mom- she is a pilot- and I know I'll almost be in college by the time she's done! Pleez Help me!

Go to Walmart or Target and get one. I know it may sound tacky but it will be cheap and you may find one ultra cheap. Good luck happy shopping xoxo

Pink? Perfect! I have a great idea... why dont you go ahead and paint the walls like a magenta, do big white polka dots, and then get silver or gold sparkle spray and spray down the walls. You can also sponge paint. Looking for a theme? Try doing french cafe, or marilyn monroe, or something really girly. Take an old lamp and cover it with 'sticky fabric' (you can buy it in walmart or craft stores, its dirt cheap and sooo pretty) or you can sew on some beads to dangle from the bottem. There is a variety of things to do! Try using fake flowers and look at teen pottery barn... your options are open! *Good Luck* xoxo

go with polka dots! That always has a really cute touch and it's unique too. Or maybe stripes or anything you like. Do bright colors and get stuff to decorate from places like Teen Pottery Barn, a Homegoods (if you have one near you sry I d k where you live) and JcPenny usually has really cute stuff! So go BRIGHT, bright is brilliant :-D
