My Room
I just got my room re-done in a rustic type style. I live in a log house so half my room is wood and the other half is sheet rock that is a dark orange/yellow color. My bedding is light brown corduroy and the other side is beige with orange the color of my walls, and burnt red stripes, what kinda accesories should i do to just set the them for my rustic room?

hm may i suggest french cafe? Get pictures of things liek the eiffel tower, and get some mugs to put into your room on a little table. Get things with beads and hang them around the top of your room, be creative hunn..

First, get some live plants (if you're not alergic to anything, that is). They always make a room feel exotic, take up space, and add freshness to any room. Green also compliments earth tones.
Color scheme and lighting is very important. In your case, you may want to use festive colors to offset the earth tones such as red, white, blue, yellow, et-cetera. Use indirect lighting to offer the room some ambient light. If you use a yellow bulb, for example, it will look like firelight.
Being as it is that you live in a log cabin style home, with earth tone colors, you could do the "Hansel and Gretel" theme...he.he.he, or maybe an "Early American" style would suffice, or you could do the "Pioneer" look. That burnt orange is hard to work with. But have fun with it anyway! Be daring!

Get some bright color pillows and picture frames of family and friends is always cewl. Get fucky lamps to put around your room.
