Q: Im 13 in 7th grade and I want to be in the talent show and I've selected a really good piece---"Un Moto Di Gioia" from Marriage of Figaro. I know that I'm only 13 and all, but I've been singing for a really long time and my voice is plenty mature and operatic to sing this---my choir teacher assigned it to me as a solo last year at choir camp and I did a fine job, so don't give me a lecture on "your-voice-isn't-mature-enough" because it is. The only problem is, what if people, like, make fun of me for singing this in the 7th grade? I mean, everyone else will be doing stuff like rapping and pop like Mariah Carey and it'll just look...weird. Do you think I should lay back or go for it???

EVERYONE at my highschool is "scene" and they love panic!.. when ppl found out theyre like "omg she doesnt like panic!!" then they went off and cut their wrists and cried about stupid stuff.

Q: There's this huge show next month at school, and I volunteered to sing Carrie Underwood's "Jesus Take the Wheel". I know I can do it, I'm already halfway there perfecting it, but I need some tips. well i dont know much about the topic but heres some personal advice from me--
dont be afraid to not sing it exactly like carrie underwood, put your on spin on it, ive heard that song and i think a different style on it would be great. so try some new things out and see how it sounds.

well if you know a band you like thats alive now...they probably have a myspace...whether its really them or not. so go to www.myspace.com. click on music at the top. click directory in the red bar. search for a band. on their page there should be a box that plays music...
