I just met a guy yesterday and well I really liked everything about him and my friend talked to him and he likes me too. =]But last time I liked a guy we kind of hooked up and went out but it went too fast so we ended up breaking up after a week. I want to really get to know this new guy and actually like him for him not just a guy to make-out with. I've never had a real boyfriend but recently i think I've found who I am and now I think I am ready to maybe get in a relationship but I want it to go slow. How can i make it so it wont end up like last time? I don't want to forget who I am and become obsessive or weird about this.

You just met this guy like, yesterday or the day before and you already think you like each other? That should be enough of a bright red light, I think.
Become FRIENDS first. You'll get to know him before hooking up with him, which should, hopefully make your relationship deeper than just physical things. Be his BEST FRIEND before being his GIRLFRIEND.
Oh, and don't hook up with a guy after knowing him for only a week. These days, you never know what kind of critters he could have crawling around in his panties.

thanx this is really helpful and i dont want to rush into things i really want to get to know him better because i barely know anything about him but his energy and happiness is something i like so far. thanx for not being like everyone else these days who just tells people to makeout and get it over with because it really messes up what could have been a good friendship or maybe even a good relationship.
