about

Hey! First off, i'm going to start by saying I came here on this site to give people advice. Some people actually don't know the real meaning of advice. They think its the answers they want to hear. But i'm not here for that. I'll give you advice, and it might be something you don't want to hear. But deal with it! You may take my advice or not, its completely up to you and you are not gaurnteed a correct solution.

Ok so now that's clear, I'll talk to you more about myself. Hence the username... I play volleyball. It is my passion and basically my life since I've played for about 7 years. Most of my friends say i'm 50/50 tomboy and girly girl. I LOVE sports!! I play volleyball all year round, and then I go to the park during free times to play some soccer, football, hockey, basketball or baseball with my friends. But then again, I could be inside trying on my new Sephora makeup i'd just gotten, or reading the latest Seventeen magazine or even arranging my clothes for school tomorrow.

You can ask me just about anything and i'll be happy to answer it. You can count on a full and detailed answer.

Oh and another thing... I love getting feedback! Even if its a negative comment. It tells me what I need to work on or even what I did correct.

BODY EXERCISES AND WORKOUTS! my way or the highway

advice

It's Tina, so you guys know.

Okay, so as some of you might know, my boyfriend died two weeks ago. A week & a half after his death, I got a rash due to how stressed out I was, and it hasn't gone away since. My mom made me a doctor's appointment, but she didn't feel good today, so I had to miss my appointment.

I've been using Cortizone 10 cream, and it works, but I hate the way it makes me feel all greasy & gross. I'm about to take a really hot bubble bath..Is there anyway I can try & get this rash to go away or at least calm down a bit until my mom can make me a new appointment? I'm really sick of being itchy all the time, and these bumps everywhere are pissing me off. =( If you guys know any home remedies, that'd be cool because I really, really need them.

I know that if I stop stressing out about this whole thing that it'll eventually go away, but me & his family have hardly any information about his death except for what I said in the mod forums, and I'm dying to know how he died, who did it, what happened & why it happened. And I'm just dying to vent, and I haven't been able to, so that's stressing me out as well. I'd love for this rash to go away, and for the stress to go away as well, but I honestly don't see my stress disappearing anytime soon. Any help? =/ It's getting to a point where I can't sleep at night because I'm so itchy..I'm at wit's end..Please help!

Hi tina,

I'm so so so sorry about your boyfriend! ='(
I hope you feel better and we will all miss you!!!!

Anyways, about your question... well I've had stress related rashes too, even hives, poison ivy etc. and I've discovered that Baking Soda helps. Just take a hot bath and pour a lot of baking soda in the water and mix it up with your hand. Then jump in the tub and sit there until it goes away. Sometimes it takes 20 minutes, sometimes 1 hour... it depends on how bad it is.

I hope you feel better!!!
