ok, i like this guy, lets call him Jim. and he likes my friend Cal, and she likes him back. My friend Connor told Jim this,"You know Abby[me] likes you." and Jim is like ya, i know. but i didnt know that he knew. Jim called me pretty and stuff but i dont know what to do bc now he knows that i like him, and now i cant talk to him. i see him all the time in the hall, after school for track, and at open gym every tuesday. So its really awkward bc now i just cant even talk to him as a friend. i dont know what to do. please help. SHould i talk to him? but if i do, hes not the kind of guy who is mushy and stuff so idk if thatll work. i know he doesnt want to go out with me, well, i dont know but i probably can guess. so what should i do? sorry its kinda long

Don't stop talking to him! Talk to him like you've always talked to him. Don't let things change between you guys. Since he said "Yeah I know", that means he knew before anyone told him. And by him calling you pretty and stuff, he's obviously not put off by the idea of you liking him. So why should things change now? Keep treating him like a friend. You don't want to avoid him because you never know what will happen with you two! Just treat him like you did before.
