Well, to start off, just remember you let him go. (Duh) What I would do is just let him go. Unless you really, HONESTLY think that you're going to win him back. If he's hurting you, whether he's the one who started the whole situation or not, any guy who hurts you isn't worth it. Just think about it, would you rather keep trying to get him back, and fail? (According to how you're saying it's going) Or, would you just let go and move on? I know moving on isn't as simple as it seems, but what would you rather do?

Also, keep in mind that he's probably hurt that you broke up him [for whatever reason].
