Work up your endurance by running a lap or so everyday or a mile every week. It's hard to cheer for a 3 hour game or do an intense 3 minute routine. Also, whenever you learn a new cheer or dance, practice it when you get home in front of a mirror. You may notice that you are doing a motion, and it looks really weird, so this way you will easily be able to fix it. For being a good base, lifting weights will help. In addition, when you begin stunting, and something isn't going right, stay positive. Placing the blame on the flyer is not helpful for anyone. You'll do fine, I'm sure =]
