16/f. SERIOUSLY THIS IS DRIVING ME INSANE.i need serious help..please.
i am in a strong LIKE for this guy..hes perfect hes gorgeous hes nice to me and everyone else hes funny hes got everything ..which means he has a GIRLFRIEND yep this is where the problem comes in. before he had a girlfriend we flirted like crazy any kind of flirting like sexually verbally touchy/feely anything! but we never did anything like kiss or whatever. i knew he liked this other girl and wanted to go out with her or was debating but he ended up asking her out and now..i dont know what to do! i cant stop liking him its like when i dont see him im missing him but then sometimes i forget about him and then something happens and i think about him again then i see him and i get the strongest feelings in my stomach like and i feel like i have to be perfect even though i know i DONT because he isnt shallow like that. i love seeing him even though it hurts =( but we are really good friends too! and hes friends with my cousins and their neighbors so its hard not to see him because im always over there. anyways he still always flirts with me and i dont know if he knows he is doing it or not but he is! like tonight we all went over there my cousins and me late tonight and i walk in his house and see him and my heart drops hes so adorable..i lay on his couch downstairs and he like sits on the floor in front of me then like i closed my eyes and he got really close and started saying something to me. and then i was like im gonna go ask your mom this blah blah and hes like no you didnt and he wanted to bet on it so he took my hand and like held it (as we were "shaking on it") and we held hands like this for like 5 minutes and i thought wow this is kinda weird i wonder if this is for him too! then like we had to leave and we were arguing (flirting) and he like faced me..got close and slightling started like punching my stomach if you know what i mean its hard to explain it was in a cute way though! i probably have a different view on everything than him. but i just dont know what to do i cant get over him i dont know if i want to. but hes always like on his away messages "on the phone with my girl" "i love you" blah blah and she is is background on his computer! shes absolutely gorgeous and outgoing and everything and i dont think im that bad looking but i dont know! i cant talk to him about it i dont want our friendship to be akward which i know it would be. is there anything i can do?! rather than talking to him or trying to stop liking him because neither will work

I know this situation really well because i have been in one several times before, i liked his guy before so much and i was so crazy about him ,that i was practically stalking him.lol.
And then he started dating this other girl, and that hurt me so much and i cried so much and it was just very sad. He became the only thing on my mind, and the only thing i thought about and talked about. I became so crazy and madly in love with him. And that lasted for a whole 2 years, but during this whole time we were good friends and we talked and flirted , fooled around and had lots of fun. And then as time passed during these 2 years, i started noticing that this guy with already there beside me as something more important than a boyfreind. He was practically my best freind, and we could do anything we want even kiss on the cheek, and it was just great to have him as a friend, even bette than a boyfreind. And we still are great freinds, because if we had dated, we would have probably broke up, and then there would not be any relationship or freindship.
So you see, you may have not had him as your boyfreind, but at least you didn't completely lose him and now you have him as a really close freind to you and thats something really great that you should take advantage of, and who knows, maybe if he breaks up with his girlfriend, he would realise that all along he was inlove with his own good friend, and that she was infront of him all this time flirting with him. So just act natural and cool, and leave things to fall down in place alone.
And by the way, she's not prettier or hotter than you, because when a person falls in love with someone, he should fall in love with their personality and not with their appearance, because if he does the opposite, then he wouldn't really be inlove with you,but he would be walking aroundwith you to show off.
