I made this thing for my boyfriend, and I wrote "I love you" on it, but I have room to put his name under that.
Do you think I should personalize it or just leave it as "I love you"?

It doesn't really matter. Most of us guys don't really care about that kind of stuff. If you do put his name on it, don't decorate it because that's to much.
