Alright I'm 15 and I'm a male. My girlfriends birthday is comming up really soon & she won't tell me what she wants for her birthday. I have no idea what I should get her. She's going to be 14. I'm a fourteen year old girl. I'm different from most fourteen year old girls.. but that's ok.
Depending on her personality...
A CD. Maybe one from an artist she's never listened to before, but is in the same genra as what she likes.
A shirt / hoodie. Probably not your best option.
A pretty necklace / ring / bracelet. I'm not a jewelry person... but if my boyfriend gave me something like that, I would definitely wear it 24/7. My boyfriend gave me a scarf for Christmas (I'm totally cold natured.. plus it's black - my comfort color); and rather than actually wear it, I sleep with it. Girls do silly things like that because things boys give us mean a lot to us. Keepsakes. Treasures. Yeah.
If she's a fashionista, get her a fab purse. If she's more punk-ish, get her a messanger bag.
If all else fails, a gift card to a store she often shops at.
Of course, flowers are VERY important to girls on their birthdays. No matter what you get her, get her a flower to go with it. One red rose - she'll love it. Even if she's not usually that "type" to go bonkers over a flower, she will probably love it, and love you for it. I know girls who keep flowers that boys give them.
Write her a poem, too. Or get one off the web that tells her how much she means to you, how special she is, etc.
