advice
I've been reading through your advice column and from what I can tell...you give AWESOME/AMAZING advice!!..so I decided to ask you a kind of personal question that I would nevereverever ask anyone else..
I'm really thin..Sometimes, I even wish I could gain weight on my thighs so I can fit into jeans better. People think I'm not self-concious about myself because I'm so thin..but they don't see what I try to hide. I have major major gross gross belly fat! Sometimes I tell myself that I'm going to stick to a healthy diet and exercise to get abs...but it's easier said then done. Usually two days after my "plan", I'll start slacking and start eating like before (eating whenever I was bored..not even hungry. I would just EAT when I was sad/angry/bored/tired--which is almost all the time)
So anyway, my question is::: Can you give me advice on how to lose the belly fat( and stick to a plan) and also how to gain weight for my thighs and waist? Thanks!
I'm so sorry. I answered this yesterday, I had everything typed out and ready to go, but I'm an idiot and Xed the thing off. So I'm extremely sorry it took me so long to answer this! & Thank you so much for the compliment. =] I really appreciate it.
For belly buldge, I suggest:
- Aerobics
[To burn extra calories.]
- Stomach-toning workout
[To help tighten and strengthen abdominal muscles.]
- Maintain a stable blood sugar level.
[When you're done eating a big meal such as breakfast, lunch, and dinner - when you KNOW that you're full, stop eating. Don't stop the point where you're actually full because that's how you gain weight. =] That might just be your problem, so while you're eating a big meal stop when you know that you're about to be full. Don't keep eating for eating sake. :)]
Unfortunately there are no foods you can eat to gain weight on specific areas of your body. If you eat more calories than you burn and gain weight, part of this increased weight may go on your legs but the rest is likely to go on to your hips, butt, stomach and thighs.
I found this website for you, though:
http://www.primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/library/weight/gaining.htm
It gives you tips on gaining weight, not specifically on a certain part of your body, BUT just gaining weight - period. =]
